I got a free ticket to try this place and I finally got the opportunity to try it. So you walk in and they give you clothes to change into (a shirt and a very long skirt). After, you go into 1 of 2 rooms where there are ceramic (and for the lack of a better word) toilet seat (?). It has a rim where you sit and an opening in the middle. On the bottom, they put hot/heated "sook" which is suppose to be good for women's health. With the dress, you create a "tent" to keep the warmth in. The smell of the "sook" can be a little off putting and for me... it burned my eyes! But it seemed like I was the only one feeling this pain because everyone around me seemed fine. You have to sit on the seat for at least an hour to get the benefits so bring a book or something to do. Afterwards, you go into another room where they have blankets and pillows laid out on the floor. You lay down and place the bowl that contained the hot "sook" on your belly. They say to lay there for at least 30 minutes. Be warned, you will smell like smoke afterwards so plan accordingly!

open until 9pm!!

I did because I have a bunch of knots around my shoulder blades. The atmosphere was calm and respectful, and the staff was wonderful. Helen did my scrub and did an excellent job (on the harsher side, which I loved). The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and friendly. I immediately recommended this place to my group chat and will definitely be back. The only thing missing is food options -- hope they add some in the future.

This is great if you want it quiet. Not a place you come with a bunch of friends that want to socialize. $3 validated parking for the Central Plaza parking garage right across from it. Came when they had 50% off admission which was $25 but seemed overpriced if you are a guy. Pros: -Unlimited Reishi mushroom tea. They also have water and coffee everywhere. -Large sized towel, robe, slippers in the locker. -3 jacuzzis (Himalayan salt, alkaline, citrus) , wet sauna (love that it's like a fog/mist and not shower sprayers!), dry sauna, and 3 specialized rooms (Infrared, salt, and mud room w small heated balls which was my favorite). All was great, but wish there was a cold pool in the women's area too. Cons/Room for improvement: -Though they now have a clothed, co-ed section, it is underwhelming. -The jacuzzi was warm, not hot. -There was a waterfall pool but was very shallow and also just warm. -Cold Plunge is a 5 ft. deep pool that had a rickety ladder to get in/out of. It would've been nice if it had a seat. -The wet and dry saunas were off and took a while to turn on, but never got hot. My guy friend gave feedback on the men's locker room: -no restroom inside -no sinks inside - no sit down showers which the women's side has If I were a guy, I wouldn't come just for the spa as it just feels like a side amenity. And definitely expensive even at $25.

I was literally told I was 'glowing' after going here. I went in feeling tired and tight and left feeling relaxed and soft. I went on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't very busy. I took my time showering and using the steam room and mugwort tea and salt bath before my treatment. I had Kathy, she had very strong hands which is what I needed! But she checked in on me frequently to make sure it wasn't too much. I didn't have time for the salt sauna or infrared sauna but both were clean and well maintained. Full disclosure: if you're not comfortable with nudity. Or you want a more chill/ clothed massage this is not the place for you. If you're serious about body and skin care and you respect the spa etiquette, this place is a dream! Tip is not included in the price but Kathy more than earned her tip. The woman doing my treatment (unfortunately didn't catch her name) was amazing and the overall experience was incredible. Before my scrub, I spent about 30 minutes in the steam sauna, which I'd definitely recommend because it helps prep your skin and gives you the best results from the scrub. The body scrub itself was definitely an experience. If it's your first time, don't go in expecting it to be super relaxing because it's pretty intense and certain parts can feel rougher than others. But the results are absolutely worth it. My skin has honestly never felt so smooth and soft. All of the dry, dead skin was completely gone afterward and my skin felt unbelievably clean, hydrated, and refreshed. The spa itself is a little smaller than some of the other Korean spas I've been to, but it was still very clean, nice, and had all the essentials like the sauna, Himalayan salt room, and other relaxation rooms. Spa entry is included with your treatment purchase, and you could honestly spend the whole day there if you wanted to. There's also a traditional Korean kitchen inside that had really good food. Overall such a fun experience and definitely worth trying at least once.

However, an employee named Minwoo stepped in to help, and he really stood out. He seemed like a manager, not necessarily by title, but because he was noticeably more professional and kind than the other front desk staff. He carefully went over each of my reserved services and explained how to prepare and where to go in a very clear and easy-to-understand way. It made the whole experience much smoother, especially for a first-time visit. After using the sauna, I spent time in the co-ed jimjilbang area, which had a relaxing and authentic atmosphere. I also received a skincare treatment and an acupressure service, and both were very satisfying. Later, I had a meal at the restaurant with friends, and we went up to the rooftop to get some fresh air. The patio area was nicely set up, and the cool breeze made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything is kept really clean, and the space feels well taken care of, which makes a huge difference when you're trying to relax. The vibe is lowkey and peaceful, not pretentious at all. Also, don't skip the food. Eating Korean comfort food in a robe after sweating it out just hits different. Shoutout to Minu as well--super kind and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Perfect spot for a solo reset day or even a chill hang with friends. My friend and I booked the Goddess package, which is the most complete. You arrive early to soak in the hot tubs (which were not as hot as my last review indicated), and then are taken back to the wet massage area. After a very thorough scrub and wash, you are massaged, and you also have your hair washed, and they do an anti-aging face mask. It was about $220, which is a little more expensive than I remember, but that's about an hour and forty-five minutes of service. I did feel like if I went back, I'd probably try one of the shorter services. You don't have to have cash for a tip, because they put the tip on your bill, and you can pay with your credit card. I didn't hang out in any of the saunas, just in the mood for a hot tub. They did have a nice, tranquil outside area as well. Also, they had a cafe that had some snacks and water, and also a sign saying you can order food. I didn't get the name of the person who did my service, but she was great! She was very friendly.

Olympic used to have mugwort soak, places to scrub yourself and to get to know the community. They had mats readily available to lie in the heated floor and the best broccoli dish at the restaurant. And they were $30 foot a simple soak. You learned to whisper, shower before dipping, and to put up long hair while getting to know about Korean bathing culture. It was a ritual experience. No more mugwort, scrubbing stools, or mats, or restaurant. Now it's $60 to go to a place with seemingly Caucasian women's silhouettes on all the literature, Costco granola bars and plastic wrapped fruit. There was obviously a strategy in changing the business model to cater to rich white ladies. I can't be mad at them for wanting to make a buck. But now it's less homey Korean spa and more whitewashed and sterile. Again, you do you. It was just a big change in vibe and cost. The new ice room and patio are fantastic. They kept the buckwheat tea. It's still sparkling clean. But for the new price, the trade off is not worth it. I'll go to another K spa that enriches my body, and desire to be a student and supporter of the Korean community.
