After a few days of camping in Yellowstone it was nice to hit up Yellowstone Perk on our way out. It allowed us to pack up early and not have a hot stove. The place is neat with lots of souvenirs to buy for good prices if you missed a gift for granny. The team is super nice and welcoming. The coffee was ok it was a dark roast and in my opinion wasn't watching special, except I didn't have to make it. I knocked a star for the coffee. I think they could do much better with a lighter and more flavorful brew. read more

Awesome store! The staff is personable & helpful, giving samples of the ice cream before you buy. The spumoni is incredible. So is the Moose Tracks and Stuck in a Rut. Try them, and you will find it difficult to decide. I got the spumoni and Moose Tracks. Reasonable prices too. If you aren't in the mood for ice cream, look around and you might find a tee shirt or postcard to buy. Or a stuffed animal or some candy. If you need a prescription filled, Family Pharmacy is in the back, where you can also find medicinal items, toiletries, and sundries. Outside are tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Or sit on one of the benches. This is definitely a nice place to shop & hangout. read more

We went here for breakfast before going to Yellowstone and then for ice cream after a long day in the park! Recommend both! The guy taking our order was legitimately one of the nicest guys I've ever met and makes me want to continue coming back!! For breakfast I did a bagel breakfast sandwich which comes with bacon, egg, cheese, HASHBROWNS and a delicious aioli on an everything bagel-YUM! My husband got the classic breakfast with eggs, sausage, toast and hashbrowns and also loved it! They also have a great coffee bar that you have to try! read more

It was close by and decided to order some food since the family is hungry. The prices were very high for a coffee shop but it is one of the few coffee shops in town and we were hungry to get food. There were people queuing up to order food so I totally understand 2 person staff is hard. However due to the rush, they weren't too friendly and patient. I ordered the Yellowstone omelette...it's an omelette made using the waffle maker folded with bacon, cheese, ham and onions..comes with kettle chips. The omelette was bland and kinda soggy feel. I also ordered the Italian sandwich and that was delicious! It's panini style sandwich with salami, cheese, onions with a delicious yellow sauce. Portions were not big and $14 for a sandwich was not the best deal. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich which was basically more like a pulled pork burger. The pulled pork was pretty tasty with a zing to it. It comes with kettle chips. We also ordered ice cream..got my son the strawberry cheesecake, can't go wrong with that one. My husband got the caramel apple and huckleberry. My husband failed to tell the lady that we were having it to go so I did tell her that before she switched the food into to go containers and she was not very pleasant about it. This place has the best espresso in town! The staff is so friendly and fun. The food menu is awesome and fast. Amazing ice cream selection. There is tons of fun merchandise that you'll only find in this shop. The owners designed some of the merchandise with really fun graphics that are one of a kind. I had never bought a tee shirt from a gift shop before, but these are unique and fun! You have to check them out. Not your normal boring Yellowstone tee shirts. Fun prints and tees and sweatshirts and hats and toys! Can't recommend this place enough. read more

We went to Gardiner for breakfast while staying in Mammoth Hot Springs because the breakfast at our hotel was so terrible, and our water at the hotel recommended we travel to Gardiner for a better breakfast. We had planned to eat at one restaurant, it it was closed, so we stumbled onto Yellowstone Perk and decided to eat there. GREAT food, GREAT customer service. I can't recommend this place enough. It was literally the best breakfast and the best coffee that we had on a two week National Parks vacation. Would go back in a heartbeat. read more

I was feeling excited to see an establishment that was still serving breakfast around 12n. I ordered the traditional. I was surprised when it came out so fast. They gave me a ton of leftover powdered eggs. I wd say the breakfast was ehhhh, but I guess I should've explained I wanted fresh, real eggs scrambled soft. Anyway I thought I should get something to take out as well for later. Big mistake!!!! I've been here in Gardiner for a week with another week to go. I'm so ready to go home right now! It's astonishing that such a beautiful place can be ruined by such greedy people. Everything here is such a money grab. You hear all the reports of the millions who visit here every year; then why is everyone so ready and willing to rip the traveler off...?? My second bill came to $30!!!!! For a tiny fake quesadilla and $13 for a strawberry milkshake!!!! Yes, the kind and size u get at McDonald's for $2.99! I also got gouged the other day at another place; $13 for a burger and fries! I'm staying at a Super 8 motel, that I booked third party. The advertisement said they offer free breakfast. I was expecting the typical stuff u see everywhere but here they invented a new wrinkle; they have free coffee and muffins in the lobby but right next door in the typical dining area they are SELLING the breakfast that u get at other motels for free!!!And it just goes on and on! When I get back home and speak to my family and friends, I'll tell them it's an awesome trip; the beauty is sadly spoiled by an infrastructure of greedy grubby businessmen who want to fleece you in every way possible. If I didn't have a string of non refundable bookings on my itinerary for my drive home, I'd just leave now. I've seen 80% of both Yellowstone and Grand Teton and I'm totally fed up with these greedy businesses!!!! read more
