Even without formally using the service, the level of professionalism and customer care stood out to me. Based on that alone, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone knowledgeable, responsive, and straightforward.

We wish we had him for our first inspection when we were buying the house. His price was very reasonable; especially after getting some outrageously expensive quotes and some questionably low "11 month quotes" from other inspectors only to find out that they don't have to abide by the same new home purchase inspection standards set by the TREC. We were given a long report with pictures and recommendations which we submitted to our builder for warranty repair. Paul cut no corners and we plan on referring him to our neighbors who needs the first inspection and/or their 11 month.

The home builder, a reputable one at that, told me it wasn't necessary to hire my own inspector, as the city would would be doing its own inspections. As Bryan told me, "of course they don't want you hiring a home inspector." Sure enough, Bryan found lots of deficiencies-- none significant, fortunately-- in the builder's work. Bryan also educated me on new home builds, "A house is only as good as the actual guys building it." I learned a lot after he was done, as he walked through the entire house with me, showing all of his discoveries. He photographs with his digital camera every single discrepancy, and those pics end up in his final report (which he emailed me that same evening). You won't be disappointed hiring Bryan. Google his business; all of the 5-star reviews on Google are spot on. Hiring him was the best thing I did in the building of my new home.

Duncan was professional, thorough, and took the time to carefully go through the home and explain the things he found. As first-time homebuyers, the inspection process was very important to us, and having someone who paid attention to the details gave us tremendous peace of mind. The inspection report was detailed, organized, and easy to understand. Duncan did a great job identifying items that we needed to bring to the builder's attention, which allowed us to address those concerns before moving into our new home. We truly appreciate Duncan's professionalism, knowledge, and the time he took to make sure we understood the inspection findings. Buying our first home has been a big milestone for our family, and Spartan Inspection Group was a valuable part of that journey. If you're buying a home--especially a new-construction home--we would absolutely recommend Spartan Inspection Group. Thank you, Duncan, for helping us feel confident about our new home! Thank you! They sent an engineer without providing any contact information for him for follow up. The report they sent after we paid them several hundred dollars did not include clear explanations of the assumptions made and there were no photos to support any of the comments. After the engineer left, I also received new information. At his suggestion when he was onsite I sent numerous photos to a generic email account. He said he would take his own photos but it was fine to send them to illustrate my points. He never responded to anything I sent. My General Contrator and I requested a meeting for clarification of the report and discuss the new findings. There was no response to this request. I was told by an admin that she was told to tell us that we would have to pay more for a report with photos. The engineer led me to believe there would be photos used in the report. After my request to meet by phone, they did send a new report written by another person who had never investigated any of it that seemed vindictive since it removed the most meaningful information in the original report. I had sent them a report used by the opposing party and maybe there was a conflict of interest there. They should have raised that issue before I sent the report. I would never recommend this untrustworthy company to anyone.

They acknowledged their mistake and they offered to credit me the difference or replace it with the correct one. I opted for the correct ladder to be reinstalled. 5/5 stars still remains for their communication and good install quality. Mistakes happen! Was a bit confused since I see they have locations throughout Texas. And reviews mentioned their names in different cities. But I'm in Houston and spoke with Kevin (owner) over the phone. Anthony was the installer. Maybe all the Texas locations use an alias Anthony and Kevin? Anthony was the technician that came out to replace my broken attic ladder. His install was so crisp and clean, very meticulous to detail. He did a better job than the plumber and electrician I hired. I wasn't home for the install so he had free access to my property and treated it with respect and didn't leave a messy work area for me to return to. His install quality impressed me more than the product itself, not to say that it's a bad product, not at all. But his work was that good. Kevin was the owner/sales rep and was very communicative every step of the way. Very transparent pricing and I think it was reasonable for the quality of the product, but most importantly, Anthony's installation quality. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you need an old attic ladder that is sagging or broken, to be replaced.
