I'm going through the process of my first home purchase in Texas so I found several inspectors with great reviews on Yelp. I wound up going with Anchor, which was a great decision. Heath was very thorough in his inspection, and even more thorough when he met with me to go over his findings. He took the time to explain everything to me clearly. Although I planned on meeting him around 12:30, quickly headed out door as he was okay with eta of less than 20mins. Derek did a thorough job in explaining everything. What I really like about Green Scene is their videos along with the detailed photo report. They also use thermal imaging. Long ago, I had an inspector briefly point out things and provided written report afterwards. I was definitely okay shelling out more money for a piece of mind. Derek did nitpick a bit but, with this kind of investment, nitpicking is very welcomed! He even gave me his business card, inspection/notes paper and pen in case I thought of anything once home and brain had time to digest everything. :-) Highly recommend Green Scene!

During that visit, he made unprompted remarks about my personal life that had nothing to do with the inspection. When I told him that his behavior felt intimidating, he responded that he had researched me on the "deep dark web." We then asked that our interactions remain strictly professional and limited to inspection-related matters, but he declined to agree to that boundary. The encounter left us feeling unsafe and deeply uncomfortable. We have since filed a formal complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) regarding this incident. It is our personal recommendation to stay very far from this company. Homeowners deserve respect, professionalism, and basic privacy when inviting someone into their home.

Four Corners Inspections did a great job finding lots of little items wrong with my half-way built…read morenew home in Frisco. The home builder, a reputable one at that, told me it wasn't necessary to hire my own inspector, as the city would would be doing its own inspections. As Bryan told me, "of course they don't want you hiring a home inspector." Sure enough, Bryan found lots of deficiencies-- none significant, fortunately-- in the builder's work. Bryan also educated me on new home builds, "A house is only as good as the actual guys building it." I learned a lot after he was done, as he walked through the entire house with me, showing all of his discoveries. He photographs with his digital camera every single discrepancy, and those pics end up in his final report (which he emailed me that same evening). You won't be disappointed hiring Bryan. Google his business; all of the 5-star reviews on Google are spot on. Hiring him was the best thing I did in the building of my new home.

His price was very reasonable; especially after getting some outrageously expensive quotes and some questionably low "11 month quotes" from other inspectors only to find out that they don't have to abide by the same new home purchase inspection standards set by the TREC. We were given a long report with pictures and recommendations which we submitted to our builder for warranty repair. Paul cut no corners and we plan on referring him to our neighbors who needs the first inspection and/or their 11 month.
