Ahmad did a great job of renovating our basement which was damaged by sewage water leak. He did tiling, drywall and painting. He's very patient and thorough and will stay late till the work is completed. The room looks amazing. He also helped me select the tiles very patiently. I texted him again 3 days later. I have not heard back from him - it has been more than 10 days since my first call. He could have taken a 30 secs to respond. read more

Ahmad repaired the dry wall in our ceiling after a roof leak. He gave us a very reasonable rate compared to several other contractors. He is honest and he described the options and how he would approach the issue. He even went and brought matching paint. He also took the time to repair a ceiling light. I would highly recommend Ahmad. We would definitely reach out to him for any other issues that would require his service in the future. read more

I was looking to replace all the carpet flooring in my newly built home with LVP and found Mario…read morehere on Yelp right away. I decided to give him a try--and I'm glad I did. Mario's knowledge and understanding of flooring is top-notch. My home already had 6mm LVP on most of the first floor, but when we removed the carpet in one of the first-floor bedrooms, I did a calcium chloride test and found the concrete moisture level was much higher than I was comfortable with. After doing some research and discussing options with Mario, we decided to apply Bostik coat to seal the moisture. That made a huge difference. We also added a proper moisture barrier on top, which gave me peace of mind. Given the moisture level in the concrete, I ended up removing the original 6mm flooring too. That turned out to be the right call--when we pulled it up, we discovered the old moisture barrier sheets weren't taped properly, just laid side by side. So we redid the whole floor with Bostik + taped moisture barrier + 8mm LVP. Mario managed to reuse most of the baseboards--only one room needed new ones. While the project ended up a bit more expensive than originally planned, the results look great and I feel confident that the floor will hold up long-term. Mario is super friendly, honest, and goes out of his way to help. Highly recommend him if you're considering flooring work!

Recently, I had a ceiling fan removed from a wooden cross beam in my family room. A wire was encased in metal tubing leading to a wall electrical outlet which was also eliminated. This caused several holes in my drywall as well as creating long thin stretches of unpainted areas in both my wall and ceiling. After several futile attempts to contact painting contractors and a few small business repair individuals, I was very fortunate to find Ahmad, the handyman. He responded to my phone call immediately, and came out to give me a free estimate that same night. He seemed very knowledgeable and provided me with a very reasonable price. Ahmad came highly recommended by close family friends. We asked around for a handyman, someone trustworthy and reasonable (fair) - to come to my elderly Mother's home to make repairs. I called Ahmad about a leak under our kitchen sink that was connected with the garbage disposal. Ahmad responded immediately and explained our options.
