On a recent trip, Jay's picked us up faster than Lyft would. My uncle had a 2:30 pm appointment with his physical therapist at Kaiser. The only available Lyft car would be at 2:20 pm, so there's a chance we would've been late. I called Jay and he sent a cab earlier than that time frame. We made it to his appointment early. In the past, I've used Jay's for trips going to City Community Services, Sutter Hospital, and Mercy General. Since these places were in the downtown and midtown areas, the cab fare was inexpensive.

When I told the gentleman who drove us the reason I had asked he did not mention THEIR minimum $27 fee for using a card. When I called the company the next day saying there should be a sign, the woman said that yes, the driver should have told me, knowing there was a card involved, that there was a minimum charge...then rudely hung up. I was a responsible adult calling a cab for me and my friend after drinking and I feel the driver, seeing that, took advantage of me. My friend and I told him there was a card, asked if there was a minimum fee, and were basically lied to. I will NEVER use them again. The driver knew what he was doing

My job requires me to be constantly on the move across the greater East Bay, meeting clients and sticking to a tight schedule. Being late simply isn't an option. Since switching from using rideshare companies to concord cab, I haven't had to worry once. They are consistently on time, often early, and incredibly dependable no matter the time of day. The drivers are professional, courteous, and know the area extremely well. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The cars are always clean and comfortable, and the entire experience just feels more reliable and personalized compared to ride share. What really stands out is the peace of mind. I can book a ride and trust that it will show up exactly when I need it, without the uncertainty, cancellations, or last minute surprises I dealt with before. If you rely on transportation for work or just want a stress free, dependable ride, I can't recommend this company enough.

My hunt for a limo service felt defeated as hardly any local companies still offered traditional limos and def wouldn't budge on 4-5hr+ minimums. I reached out to several and pleaded my case for a shorter rental and was rejected by everyone besides A1. Although they do have a minimum hour rental they made an exception to make our son's birthday wish come true. We got a great rate, perfect friendly service and one happy kid who felt SO cool on his limo ride. I'm so thankful for them for helping me make this happen and would recommend them for any special event needs. communication prior to service was top tier which I found was severely lacking with the other companies I was in contact with. Rather than look for something he…read morecan try to fit into and be happy though he might not be, and just pass his time, he instead created his own - seemingly successful - transportation service, and though I only see his drivers and vans at Travis AFB when I am there stuck for a week or so, or arriving and seeking a ride to the City, it's always a great sight. He advertises and does offer the cheapest prices available - I found out recently after being tight on dinero and calling transport shuttle services in ALL of the Bay Area, including Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland and Fairfield - and all I discovered is that none of them could not beat Stan's shuttle prices! I have thus far been delivered twice and absolutely enjoyed the ride(s). Once to Vallejo to catch the ferry to SF, and just recently to SF and in both instances the driver was very courteous, very punctual and very articulate. It is such a joy to hear nice people who know the English language which in this age and time, is butchered daily. I highly commend his drivers and their polite manners in person and by phone. On my most recent delivery by Stan's driver Wesley, he had to check at a hotel for people who had called for transport services. After arriving, the driver looked high and low for that group of people who had simply disappeared without notice nor even a call to say they were leaving... though the people may be mean and discourteous, Stan's drivers are not and this isn't because they are told to maintain this attitude but because when one is born and raised to be kind and sincere, one cannot act in any other way. Thanks Stan for your drivers and your great service. See you the next time I am stuck in Fairfield and Travis. The other number to call is 1-707-761-4430 and the website states their service is available 24/7 Mon-Sat, of course Sunday is by reservation only ~ heck, they's got to eat somehow!! They drive a very plain white van with Stan' name and logo on the back window. I have taken other vans from the City to Travis and being on the road a lot myself, I can understand the traffic and routine of someone who "lives" behind the steering wheel, and I seriously thought I wouldn't arrive at Travis alive, as that driver was driving half asleep, so much that I felt compelled to talk continuously to simply keep that driver awake! I will never call anyone else but Stan's drivers!
