My cousin & her husband from the UK were visiting on their honeymoon, and I wanted a very special day to help celebrate their newlywed status. Ray was most accommodating & had many great suggestions to tailor make a tour that fits our needs & wants. Learning that Ray is a Napa resident for decades made it all the better. We wanted door to door service with local histories & stories along our route & Ray did not disappoint. We learned so many interesting facts & histories of the Napa valley & the wineries from Ray. More interestingly, Ray weaved in his own personal stories of family & friends which made it even more intriguing & fabulous. We learned that Ray grows out his hair & donate it every 2 years or so to honor one of their best friends who lost her battle to cancer. Ray, you already have our love, now you have all our respect too. Ray also gave us the best recommendation of the wineries to visit for the day. Ray's genuine friendliness & friendship had truly made our day touring Napa very very special. Thank you Ray!

Our First Cruise Couldn't Have Been Better…read more My wife and I had never taken a cruise before, so choosing the right cruise line, itinerary, and land package felt overwhelming. Working with Joan Lovell at Advantage Travel turned what could have been a stressful planning process into an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Joan was incredibly patient and responsive throughout the entire planning process. We had plenty of questions--often on weekends when we finally had time to sit down and plan--and she was always there with prompt, helpful answers. At one point during our trip, I made a somewhat frantic call because I wasn't sure where we were supposed to be going next. Joan calmly re-sent our updated itinerary (which I later realized I hadn't read as carefully as I should have!) and got us back on track in minutes. Joan also helped us select the cruise line that best matched our travel style. During the trip, we talked with passengers from several other cruise lines and asked why they had chosen theirs. One person said they primarily cruised because they received free cruises through casino gambling. We never even set foot in the casino--that simply isn't who we are. Joan understood what we were looking for and recommended a cruise line that proved to be the perfect fit. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. We extended our Alaska cruise with a three-night land tour and also added hotel stays before and after the trip. Joan's hotel selections exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed beautiful rooms with outstanding views--including one on the top floor of a 17-story hotel in Anchorage. In talking with other travelers on our tour, none of them had accommodations with views like ours. Those thoughtful touches made an already memorable vacation even more special. Looking back, it's hard to imagine planning this trip without Joan's expertise. She anticipated details we never would have thought about, answered every question with patience and professionalism, and made our first cruise adventure smooth, relaxing, and memorable. If you're considering a cruise or any major vacation, I can recommend Joan Lovell at Advantage Travel without hesitation. We couldn't have asked for a better travel advisor and are already looking forward to working with her again.

Know all the in and outs.....until my plans started to fall apart while traveling abroad. My wife said no worries, let me call Maria! Where I was on a train traveling from London to Paris and worried because we found out our Air B&B was cancelled at the last critical minute, one call to Maria and not only did she did find us a room, but a place WAY better than the spot that was cancelled. She found better air flights, booked some super cool excursions, booked trains 1st class, and bailed us out of trouble a couple of times on this last trip. Honestly, There aren't words in any language to accurately describe how grateful I'am for her service. I HIGHLY recommend Maria for any traveling needs you may need. Thank You Maria!

I originally was going to book a quick cruise out of LA with my cousin on a last minute invite. The…read moreprices were kinda high online so I decided to check out and see if we had planners near by that might be able to get us better pricing. Maria started off with good pricing and got us pretty low but than my wife and I started to think... been there, done that, do we really want to spend this much and go down to Ensenada? So the hunt for a mini December getaway / vacation started. Like others, we want the most for our buck and since this was a last minute vacation we had a low budget. This was not easy for Maria and she helped us narrow down pricing and length for a warm winter location. We received amazing deals for Hawaii, Cancun and San Diego, as well as other cruises... After a week of us being extremely undecided as to where we wanted to vacation, we decided to go to a location where we haven't been before (believe it or not San Diego). Maria was hard at work for us all week long. Sending us various locations and hotels at Stellar prices! We were really picky (even though the suggestions were great) with a budget and Maria came through with a Hilton resort package, including flight, zoo and a navel tour! We finally made the decision to go with this specific package. Hilton ended up having an issue with accepting payment and the special ended that night ($300 savings). She spent an entire Friday with Hilton telling them what happened and that they needed to match the special from the prior day. Finally Maria Called us back with great news and booked out reservations that evening. Moving forward we will book all our vacation needs with Maria! She provided great customer service. She understood what we wanted, where we wanted to stay and go! She was patient, friendly and very attentive to our emails and communications. She was quick to respond and had not issues with either email and or phone communications. Thanks Maria! we can't wait and we will post some pictures of our lovely December vacation!
