We recently booked California Limo for a birthday drive to visit a couple wine places in Napa! Our driver Marco was more than prompt he was early. Called once he arrived and was super friendly when we stored our items in the trunk. He took us to our first stop, ride was smooth and offered a pandora station for us to listen to since we did the suv option. There was 5 of us and we sat comfortably. He made us on time to our reservation and when ready for pick up he was ready. One of our friends had one too many and started to disagree with him. He was very polite and appropriately disarmed the situation when other could have easily escalated the situation. He picked us up and allowed an additional stop to our original plans to accommodate another drop off for us and then took everyone else to the final destination. If you use them please ask for Marco! He was wonderful and great conversation if you want it. Will definitely use the service again and hopefully he's available. read more

A 48th birthday to remember to Pat, our driver. He came early, patiently waiting for us to be ready. He was also flexible bringing our son to his friends house for a sleepover. He helped our son seat belting him in cause he couldn't find the other end. Needless to say, he certainly enjoyed his ride over showing his friend the limo. I had to edit my review because originally I wrote a bad review. California limo reached out to me based on the review I wrote down there . Not many businesses do that. It turns out that they were not aware of the situation like the driver had stated. They were very nice and understanding and refunded me the money we paid. There fore I think they deserve a 5 star review. The way they handled the situation showed me that they truly care about their customers. The lesson I learned is to call them directly for any inconvenience so they could assist you properly. We used this limo service for my friend's 21st birthday, and everything went great, so I decided to use it for my birthday, and honestly, I didn't like it. First off, our driver was 10 minutes late. Things happen. I get it. He went over the rules with me before getting in the SUV, and we headed out to our destination at 11 a.m., when I had scheduled to pick us up at 10:30 a.m. We arrived at our brunch reservation pretty late, but thankfully they were able to accommodate us. The only downside is that the winery that I had booked right after our brunch couldn't accommodate us any more and I got charged a 10 dollar fee for each of my guests for counseling in a short time notice. We had to find a new winery, where we could only spend a shorter amount of time than what I had originally planned because our whole trip got pushed back! On our way back, we arrived 15 minutes over the time we were supposed to be back because, again, our whole trip got pushed back! I thought that they would be understanding about the fact that our ride arrived late, but no, they were not. They charged me for those extra 15 minutes. I don't wanna blame the driver he was nice and I understand that we are human and things happen. I just didn't like how they handle the situation so I think for next time I'll be booking with a different company. read more

We rented the big bus from Five Star to take us to a concert last year, it had all the bells and whistles, really a nice ride, the price was fair, and since we could fit almost 20 people in it, it was cheap for everyone to pitch in on it. I must say the thing that made the whole experience 5 stars was the Driver, his name was Bill. showed up early dressed nice, great demeanor and all. He knew the roads really well, how to go around traffic spots, and even knew all the good bathroom break stops. He had no idea where we were going and asked me to map it and complained when we got back in the car saying he was hungry. He made a few comments about wanting to get home for dinner. So let me start out with our Driver, Danny, was great. He was on time and communicated well with us as we landed and it was easy to meet him. On-line I had thought I was booking an Expedition that I would think would be a nice ride and great end to our vacation. What arrived was an old Ford Escape that was in poor shape. I booked Five Star Limo to take me and the family to the recent Carrie Underwood concert in Stockton, CA. I actually booked the limo on a Monday for a Tuesday service. I booked the service through there website, It was pretty easy to use, and took minutes to do it. I had some questions about the service that the website doesn't talk about, so I called them. The guy that answered the phone was super nice and answered all my questions in detail. Our pick up time was 430 pm. The limo showed up around 420. It looked like the limo was just washed. I met our driver Garland outside, he went over the nights itinerary with me and explained how everything inside the limo worked. Inside the limo was clean and nice. It even smelled good. There were extra glasses and extra champagne glasses for us to use. The limo was even stocked with water, ice and soda. Our drive to Stockton was nice and smooth and were were there in no time. Garland dropped us off pretty much at the front door of the Stockton Arena. Which was nice. After the concert Garland called me and told me that he could not pick us up where he dropped us off, due to the police blocking off the streets. Garland told use to sit tight and he would see what he could do to pick us up close to where he dropped us off. When Garland found a spot to pick us up, he quickly called me back and told me where he was. We had to walk to him, but it was only a 3 minute walk from where we were to where he was. He apologized to all of us for having to make us come to him. We totally understand when the police shut down streets. As for the ride home, it was nice and smooth just like the ride there. Garland asked us numerous times if we needed anything or needed to stop any where. Since we didn't, it felt like the ride home was quick. Once we were home, and we were out of the car, Garland did a quick check to make sure we had all our stuff, He shook my hand and then he was on his way home.
