Once the woman that answered my call found out that she might have to fold up a wheelchair, and put it in her car-- she was huffy, rude, and exasperated on the phone. So much so that I ended the call. There are many other cab companies in the area, and I will be more than happy to take our business to one of them that do not discriminate against people experiencing or living with some sort of disability. This just goes to show that one bad employee can ruin the reputation of an entire business with their poor actions, and awful behavior.

When I called to book I mentioned 4 people and the woman said we'd need _____ as a vehicle. I don't know what their vehicles are so I don't know what that means. We've always had the same car pick us up, even when there were 4 of us. We've never needed any particular type of taxi vehicle as we've ridden in both conventional taxis or minivan taxis. A towncar would have been fine as well, as we've done that as a family. They showed up on time (as always) in a giant SUV. As someone with a bum knee and auto immune issues which can make me really stiff, it was actually difficult to climb in and out of. We got to the airport in a matter of minutes as it was a 2.6 mile trip. I almost choked when he quoted me $60. We usually paid about $20-$23 and that was when we lived across town (8 miles) from the airport. The driver indicated that's their minimum charge now. I don't know if we were being hustled or what, but I would never intend to again pay $60 + tip for a 5 minute ride. I don't know if that charge was higher because of the SUV or what. Would not use again at those rates and would suggest if you are booking you confirm the rate. Evergreen had always been about the same as every other service so it didn't cross my mind to confirm a price, especially with us being so close to the airport.

They had full knowledge of all the local Seattle neighborhoods, history and the flora and fauna. It was super interesting and the driver was friendly and so nice. Over the course of four days, I was given four completely different SUV price quotes, each time blamed on a "system" or "technical" error. The rates changed repeatedly with no clear explanation or accountability. If a company cannot consistently generate an accurate quote, it raises serious concerns about their ability to deliver service on the day of travel. This process was disorganized, frustrating, and a complete waste of time. I ultimately cancelled the reservation and would not trust this company for any future travel. Francisco opened the trunk and methodically took each bag and placed it in the trunk. When I thought he couldn't place anymore, he continued on to put in the rolling carryons. Did some repositioning of bags and closed the trunk. I was amazed everything fit back there! Francisco was very friendly, approachable, and nonchalant. Put me at ease as I am an anxious type. He kept conversation with us the entire trip to the hotel, which took about 20-25 mins. He unloaded all our luggage and graciously offered to help us into the hotel. Other companies wanted to add a surcharge for gas and other stuff just to bump the fee but A Plus remains the flat rate with no upcharges. Updated: Again they provided great service.
