They came in on Sunday: they removed the carpet, sanded, and stained all in 1 day (approx 1,000 SqFt including closets/stairs - 12 steps). Came back on Monday for the 1st polyurethane coat, let it dry on Tuesday and back again on Wednesday for the 2nd and final poly coat. Their prices were great (probably the best in the area) and John Blesing was there everyday checking his crew to make sure things were going smoothly. Everyone that comes into our house asks who we hired. Even our realtor wanted to know who we hired so she can recommend them to her clients. Thanks to the reviewers below because we never would have considered Blesings had these reviews not been here. FWIW: Most of the employees have been with Blesing for over 10 years so they know what they're doing. I'd hire them again in a second without hesitation.

It took over 3 weeks to get the building management to approve the work. Barry was patient nd helpful. The work completed was excellent. It reflected what Barry promised me and I am truly happy with the work. It is true that Barry did politely push for payment but he waited until I was ready to make the payment. I am not concerned about this since many companies ask for payments in advance. My priority is the quality of the work and then the experience that I had with Peiser floors which, to me, was delightful and I expressed this to Barry. I highly recommend Peiser floors.

This year Peiser Floors refinished some 20 year old cherry floors in my home. I used them…read morebecause they had done a good job on other floors in my home 25 years ago. This time was very different. Barry pressured me to Zelle him the final payment before I had been able to see the finished product, and against my better judgment, I did so, as I trusted Peiser to do the right thing based on my prior experience 25 years ago. Peiser Floors' workmanship was sub-standard. There were gouges in the floor made by the sanding machine and scrapes and gouges from hand sanding. They came back to "fix" the problems and absolutely nothing changed. The gouges and scrapes were still there same as before and there were drips in the polyurethane applied, along with debris on the floor that was polyurethaned over. In addition, damage was done to surrounding custom cabinetry. I sent photos to Barry. I asked for my final payment back and Barry promised to come back to see and make things right. After following up with him for over 9 months via phone and endless emails and being promised time and again by Barry that he would come back and take a look and would rectify the situation, nothing has happened. This company has really gone downhill from the last time I used them . Extremely poor workmanship on a job which should have been simple, poor follow through, pressured selling and very poor customer service. I would not recommend this company.

The only negative about this company is they don't remover Appliaces and take away the old floors . You many rent a dumpster for about 500 bucks and they would throw the old flooring in the dumpster for you . The pictures speak for themselves about the work and employee were excellent to deal with and respectable people .

The first of the two floor refinishers I called gave me an estimate but then never called me back when I tried to set up an appointment. The second vendor refused to do the job unless he was contracted to do my entire downstairs. Frustrated, I asked my brother-in-law, who is a builder, and he recommended Reliable. Not only did they give me an estimate the same day I called, it was detailed and easy to read. My kitchen designer, who has dealt with many vendors, was extremely impressed with the customer service and the end product. She plans on using Reliable for her future jobs. Her prior vendors were a bust. The great thing about Reliable is that they do what they say they are going to do. - and they do it with a courteous smile! I will never use anyone else!
