Elizabeth- thank you so much for accommodating our request and getting the stone in yesterday. The…read morecrew you sent was fabulous and they did not seem to rush (at all) and took a lot of time to ensure the counter was laid just right. We were able to host last night (even though the plumbing wasn't there) and our island was the center of focus. All our guests loved it. I am so glad we got our stone from you. We made several trips to quarries all over the place but found the perfect stone right here in our neck of the woods. You had such a vast selection and we also appreciated you being conservative by asking us to take a piece of the stone back home to ensure it holds up to all the spices and doesn't stain. We are in love with our kitchen and it's all thanks to the stone you helped us pick. We would recommend strongly that everyone consider going to Atlas for their counter needs. Thank you again!

Very Disappointed with Communication and Customer Service…read more I am very disappointed with my experience with Atlas Marble and Granite in Springfield, NJ, particularly with the communication and customer service from the owner, Elizabeth. From the beginning, communication was extremely difficult. I was told that I would receive a three-hour delivery window 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date, which was necessary so I could properly coordinate the required plumbing work. This was important because I needed to coordinate with my plumber, who had to come before templating and again before delivery to disconnect the plumbing/sink. Despite this, I had to call four times simply to find out the delivery window, and emails and phone calls frequently went unanswered. The lack of communication continued throughout the process. At one point, when I asked about the countertop delivery, I was told that they had attempted to call me several times. However, they had been calling the wrong phone number, even though the owner, Elizabeth, had my correct number and they also had my email address. I did not feel this was an acceptable explanation for the lack of communication. The biggest issue, however, was the countertop installation. When the templator arrived, I was told that the countertop would be fabricated in two pieces, which would result in a seam directly through the middle of the sink area. This was surprising because I had previously had a one-piece marble countertop in the same second-floor kitchen, which had been successfully delivered and installed without a problem. After discussing this issue with my husband I immediately called the following day, I contacted Elizabeth to ask why the countertop could not be fabricated and delivered as one piece. After some discussion, she conferenced in the templator. He stated that he had told me it would be two pieces. I explained that my question was not whether I had been told--it was why they could not install it as one piece when the previous countertop had been delivered that way. His response was that it could be done in one piece, but it was easier for the installers if it were done in two pieces. That was extremely disappointing. As a customer, I expected the focus to be on the best solution for my kitchen, not simply what was easiest for the installation crew. Elizabeth ultimately confirmed that it could be done as one piece, but I was told I would have to pay an additional $250, plus another $149 because my home was supposedly more than 50 miles from their location and/or IKEA. I ultimately paid the additional charges to have the countertop fabricated and delivered as one piece. Ironically, when the installation crew arrived, they had no difficulty whatsoever carrying the one-piece Caesarstone countertop up to my second-floor kitchen and installing it. The installation crew itself did an excellent job, and I tipped them generously for their hard work. My disappointment is not with the installers. It is with the overall customer service, communication, and the way my concerns were handled by the office. I should not have had to make repeated phone calls to obtain basic delivery information, nor should I have had to repeatedly push for a solution that was ultimately possible. I also wish I had read the other reviews before agreeing to use Atlas Marble and Granite, as an IKEA third-party vendor. Based on my experience, I was left with the impression that IKEA customers do not receive the same level of responsiveness and courtesy that direct customers may receive. Overall, I am very disappointed with the way this project was handled. The countertop itself looks beautiful, and the installation crew did a very good job, but the lack of communication, unnecessary complications, and additional expense made the experience much more frustrating than it needed to be. We chose Express Union Tile because of the great reviews we read. And our experience before the…read morepurchase was 5-stars. The salesperson was helpful and answered all our questions. They even came to our house twice to measure everything to make sure the design worked and the size of kitchen cabinets to make sure our built in refrigerator and pantry cabinets were the right sizes. HOWEVER, after sale and delivery the nightmare started! Our carpenter showed up to start the project and looked at the design that Express Union Tile gave us, and the design was missing a whole section above the stove! Then came the pantry installation. He noticed that the design they gave us was missing an entire floor to ceiling panel! So mid project I had to call them to show them the flaw in the design..... of course they didn't apologize and instead charged me to have new panels ordered. We had no choice but to pay. THEN, after we finished the pantry installation, the refrigerator came and the guys couldn't get it to be flush with the cabinets. Turns out that the depth of panels they ordered for us was actually less than the size of the panels that was on their design and what we paid for! I called them multiple times and even spoke with the owner, Mike. He didn't accept any responsibility and blamed our carpenter, wall, and pretty much everyone except themselves! We're now having to call the cabinet manufacturer, Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, etc to recover.

He was so knowledgeable about kitchen design, bathroom design, and tiles. He helped us choose the perfect tiles, cabinets and countertop for our kitchen. With Express Union Tile, you truly get a one-stop shop. They put together a design for the renovation, came out to do measurements, connected us with a contractor, and sold us the tiles, cabinets, countertop and handles. They go above and beyond. Mike personally made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction even going to the extent of coming to our home multiple times to oversee parts of the project. We were so impressed with his work ethic, calm demeanor and attention to detail. Here are some specific things we loved about our experience with Express Union Tile: High-quality products: The tiles, cabinets, countertop and bathroom vanity that we chose from Express Union Tile are beautiful and durable. Their large showroom makes it easy to find the products you want. Their prices were always more than fair, reasonable and competitive. Fast and efficient service: Mike and his team were able to get everything we needed for our kitchen project faster than we even thought possible. Everything arrived on-time or earlier, which of course, reduced the stress level for the project. Excellent customer service: Mike and his team were always available to answer our questions and address our concerns. They were also very patient with us, even when we changed our minds a few times! Overall satisfaction: We are so happy with the results of our kitchen remodel, and we highly recommend Express Union Tile to anyone looking for a reliable and professional kitchen redesign company. We would definitely use Express Union Tile again for any future tile projects and think you should too. We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We used the Decora cabinets Rene suggested, and we are thrilled with them. The quality of the cabinets is just about as good as any you could buy, and our contractor remarked more than once how well they were made, as well as how perfect the finish is. When one cabinet arrived damaged by the shipper, Rene got us a replacement in very little time to keep the project on schedule. We also had a custom range hood made, and found Decora super easy to deal with in terms of price and time. Beyond helping us get exactly what we wanted (and completely within budget), Rene's suggestions and ideas from a design perspective brought our project to another level. The cabinets are merely a product, but Rene is an asset. We incorporated very single suggestion she made, and could not be happier. Our new kitchen is absolutely stunning, and it would definitely be less so if not for Rene. I could not imagine using anyone else for our next project.
