Shrimp in Lobster Sauce with out sodium, msg or sugar, yum!
Gabe W.

I had to order a special entree with out any seasoning to try and lower my bp because it is creeping up due to a virus that I caught back in June. I ordered Shrimp in Lobster sauce, no sodium or msg and it was delicious. I am looking forward to seeing which other dishes I can try because at Emperors Kitchen the food is made to order so special orders don't upset them. I did have an egg roll which had the regular seasoning but, hey what is life if you can't enjoy yourself and eat great food? YES, I will order it again!

Rather disappointed for lunch. Was looking for a decent lunch special menu which they don't offer at all instead of a lunch buffet. It's mainly a dinner menu all day

House Special - no mushrooms

First time and the food was good. The menu states everything made to order as it should be at a restaurant like this. The "House Special" was delicious and had a decent amount of meat. Saw the table next to us ordered egg rolls and they were huge. Can't wait to go back and try one for myself. Downside is they charge an extra 3.5% if you use a card so bring cash.

OMG! Worst Experience Ever! We went back to Emperor's Kitchen, where the food was usually really good. I always get the Sesame Chicken, but this time, it lacked not only flavor but also light when normally the color is dark, rich, savory, and visually appealing. The quality has gone downhill, and I was extremely disappointed. I didn't say anything to our waitress regarding my disappointment, but I did mention how horrible my assistant's meal was. My producer's meal was Chicken with Pea Pods, which came out cold; it appears this meal was prepared before all the other meals we received were, she took one bite and said that she couldn't eat it. Another person who was in our group said that her meal was just ok with no further comments, but she did say that she wouldn't be a return customer after frequenting this establishment for many years prior. When telling the waitress that the meal was cold and she didn't want it, the waitress called the manager over; he appeared to be a family member of the owners, but I had never seen him before. He approached us and asked what the problem was. My producer explained, and he replied that he would go reheat it, and my producer said she wasn't hungry anymore. He then picked up her "cold" plate and threw it in the garbage right in front of us (garbage can by the front counter). He then came back and grabbed the bowl of rice, which was served separately, at which time I said I would take the rice rather than him throwing it out, and he said "NO" and proceeded to throw it out. I was going to pay for the extra rice; I don't want something for nothing. Even when I review restaurants, I refuse to be compensated; I don't want to feel obligated to give good reviews just because I didn't pay for something. Upon paying for the meals, the "MANAGER" was very mean, the waitress, owner, and he were talking in Chinese and all looking at us in disgust. I won't be going back to Emperor's Kitchen. This place has gone downhill, and it's so sad because I used to love this place, it was my go-to for Chinese food, but not anymore.

Best Chinese food in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. Great taste and decent prices. I am a Chinese food connoisseur.

The food here is amazing. I drive past many other similar restaurants to go here. The owners are always very nice!

We stopped on a Saturday evening for dinner and were seated right away despite how busy the…read morerestaurant was. We ordered a couple appetizers, the broccoli beef, and the ma pro tofu. The edamame was plentiful but very salty for my taste (my husband loves things extra salty so this was perfect for him). The cucumber roll was one of the best we've had (yes, could we be any more basic? Husband doesn't eat fish.) The broccoli beef arrived cold; we sent it back for a quick warm up and it came back fine. The ma po tofu was different than any I've had before. There was an off taste to the sauce, to me, that was off putting. There was very little pork or veg in the dish. I didn't care for it enough that I didn't bother to bring the leftovers home. I had the fried rice on the side and it was nearly flavorless. Our server was attentive in all the right ways. The portions were large for the price but I'm not sure we will be back again. I'd come to try the sushi (I saw some delicious looking rolls go by the table) but I'll have to find someone else to go with since fish is a nonstarter for my husband.

This is the go-to place for my family for sushi and pan Asian inspired cuisine. It's a wonderful…read morespot located right off the highway, and they even have a Koi pond inside! The restaurant features a menu highlighting Mandarin influences, Thai, and Japanese, along with a sushi bar and hibachi tables. There's guaranteed to be something for everyone on this menu. We come for the sushi. They always have the freshest fish - Tuna, Salmon, Sea Urchin, Surf Clam, Eel, Sweet Shrimp, Abolone - you name it, they serve it. The sushi is available as sashimi style, maki roll, or there is a giant menu of different rolls and sauces to choose from. My wife loves the Sunshine Roll (tempura Lobster), and my daughter loves the plain tuna roll. I dig the Angry Spider Roll or a Volcano Roll. Crispy oysters are hearty, with a plum dipping sauce. I honestly haven't had anything I wouldn't try again! The sushi appetizer menu itself has a collection of unique presentations that have all been amazing! Before she braved the sushi my daughter often ordered off the menu, her choices ranging from chicken tempura to the Sesame Chicken or Lo mein, and always tasty with large portions. I was happy to finish later what she could not, lol. Service is good, sometimes the weekend nights get a little hectic but they make mean drinks! Get the Zombie rum mixer, it'll get ya there. My daughter always enjoys the Japanese soda they offer, nice little treat. Saki of course and Sapporo beer, there's not much you could ask for they don't have! Great place. Parking usually not an issue as much as navigating through the lot during peak periods for what it's worth.

What can I say?! I'm so glad the restaurant changed ownership because I purposefully never went to…read morefusion cafe because they sold sushi Chinese food . I came here after my friend suggested that their northern Chinese cuisine was excellent and I was right to listen to them and went to Fusion Cafe for the first time. My partner and I love the cumin lamb and sautéed string beans from Sze Chuan restaurant, so we decided to try the same thing here to compare the two restaurants. I can say that their cumin lamb is fantastic and they definitely give more lamb than other ingredients, compared to Sze chain where you will often get more jalapeños than lamb. As for the string beans, I prefer Sze chuan restaurant's version more, though it was also very good here. The other two dishes we got were both recommended by the waitress and they did not miss. God, the handmade noodles in the pork and pepper sauce were SO GOOD, the noodles were the most QQ noodles I've had in Milwaukee and I can't wait to come back for more. The sweet sour pork was also good but it the coating could have a little more flavor or it can be offered with more sauce on the side. Nevertheless I still enjoyed every bite. I'm so glad to have tried the restaurant, can't wait to go back.

I have tried to like their food here but every time I've tried I have been disappointed. Their crab…read morerangoons were....interesting. I usually have a worry that they will be too creamy from the cream cheese cause that is almost always why I end up not liking them from a place, but theirs was like oddly clumped together, not at ALL creamy??? Still have no idea what that texture was. The broccoli dish was okay too, hard to mess up! The service was just fine no complaints there.
