The menus are neat up and falling apart. They also contain many drinks and items that are not available anymore. The used to have afull bar and now they have a very limited selection of alchoholic drinks. The pens for filling out your credit card receipt also have plastic silverware taped to them (so customers don't take them I assume) it looks very low class. Pens are not that expensive. The waiters and waitresses, while nice, are not as attentive as they should be.

I dip my little ladle spoon and take a sip....that looked like weak tonkatsu, but the flavor was something other than tonkatsu. I don't know what it was. The noodles were cooked appropriately, but the ajitama was not seasoned and it was not soft boiled, it was hard boiled. Okay, try out the meat. The meat was a little bit on the tough side and it did not have the flavor of chashu pork. I have had tonkatsu ramen at many different places through California. Even Missouri has a stellar tonkatsu ramen shop. Unfortunately this place does not leave me satisfied. I am afraid I can not give it a 3 star rating due to the fact that tonkatsu is unrecognizable as tonkatsu in relation to flavor. Was the flavor good? Not really.
