Today we went in and asked for an All You Can Eat lunch menu. It was 11:45am, so very clearly we were there for lunch, in addition to asking for a lunch menu. We were sat with a dinner menu (and did not realize this until we received our ticket at the end). Service was mediocre. Food was great! Once receiving our ticket, instead of seeing 3 $23 all you can eat LUNCH charges, we saw 3 $40 all you can eat PREMIUM DINNER charges. Ultimately, it's our fault for trusting the waitress & not reading the fine print on the menus that the hostess (who was also our waitress) gave us. But this seems like a very shady way to conduct business and get extra money from your customers. Especially when we are there at lunch time and had asked specifically for lunch menus.

The noodles were cooked appropriately, but the ajitama was not seasoned and it was not soft boiled, it was hard boiled. Okay, try out the meat. The meat was a little bit on the tough side and it did not have the flavor of chashu pork. I have had tonkatsu ramen at many different places through California. Even Missouri has a stellar tonkatsu ramen shop. Unfortunately this place does not leave me satisfied. I am afraid I can not give it a 3 star rating due to the fact that tonkatsu is unrecognizable as tonkatsu in relation to flavor. Was the flavor good? Not really. My recommendation would be to remove tonkatsu as an option on the menu altogether because although it looks like tonkatsu, it does not have anything in it that tastes like a tonkatsu ramen.
