Flame and skewers is consistently delicious and reliably perfect for years. I love their falafel…read moreoptions: plate, pita, and salad bowl. Their red hot sauce makes everything better and I cannot separate it from their meals. The salad dressing seems to be homemade and I could literally drink it if I could. Admittedly, I have taken shots of it in the little cups that were unused in my order and intended for their salads. Baklava can be a little wet but still delicious. I would give their baklava a 6/10 as a self proclaimed bakersfield baklava rater. As long as they are there, I will keep ordering take out from them periodically. My favorite Greek salad, my favorite dressing, and my favorite Mediterranean rice. I can go on raving but I will stop here.

Food is good at all locations, the taste the same, but my dislike came for the portion of the chicken. We got short changed and only had 4 pieces when I swear it's more at other locations. Service was good, the purple haired girl who tends the front is nice and, just by asking if we want hot sauce goes above and beyond. Usually at other locations you have to ask for it. Restaurant was fairly busy but clean and well stocked.

Been coming here for years now and the Adeni Tea is hands down my favorite drink in town. I was…read morealready a milk tea kinda girlie in the boba universe, but this was the first beverage of theirs that I tried and it scratched a certain itch I'd been unconsciously craving. Something old-world maybe? Like a flavor that's existed for centuries and been passed down through time and so so many generations... and it's now landed in our corner of the world that's just a few blocks away? Globalization and the world within, for f' sakes! This place is truly brilliant. More recently, I'm only in town a few days out of the week, but I make a point to visit this location or their other location, Mokhamena on Panama, each day I'm here to, at a minimum, pick up two for myself--the first one is to function and the second is to savor. There was a time I'd pick up the party-size for my coworkers when I liked them... but alas, times have changed so more for me. The staff there are always friendly and awesome, and on days that I'm lucky enough, I get to actually enjoy the cafe. So grateful you guys are here and sharing flavors from across the world.

I was looking for a latte to keep me energized for my day supporting a charity event in town…read more Mokha Cafe came up as one of the top options and I saw a lovely review from my Yelp friend Bethany R. so I decided to give it a try. As I pulled up into the plaza, there was ample parking and the cafe was easy to find. They have a lot of cute tables inside, good for hanging out, studying, or getting some work done. There was also cute fall decor. Looking back at my photos now... I see a discrepancy in pricing for my Iced Pistachio Latte. The physical menu says $8 and the digital menu says $7... not sure what I paid for it because they didn't give me a receipt. I asked for it with Oat Milk, not sure if there are additional charges. On a positive note that iced pistachio latte was delicious, especially the sips with chunks of pistachio sauce. Yum. Wanting to support the small business I also got their Bitifour ($2) and the Baklava ($6). The bitifour was described as a butter shortbread cookie which I really like but this version was on the dry, not buttery, and not sweet enough side for a cookie. The baklava came with 2 pieces in one order. I liked the baklava a lot more than the bitifour. I really liked the pistachio latte but I have a hard time giving a business 5 stars when their pricing is fuzzy. I'm all for pricing changes and increase to adapt to business cost, but it's funny they went out of the way to update the physical menus and not the much easier digital menu.

THE GRUB: The Cuban coffee is outstanding, and the Vietnamese iced coffee is one of the best around, actually its the only one around. If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. As they deserve a free half star for all of the Uncharted Adventures that they are a part of...lol get it.. nevermind.. bye for now...

I do appreciate that you took the time to read my review but your feedback is lacking how you intend to resolve similar issues in the future. Example: staff willing to make the canned Vietnamese coffee, if none is available in your fridge; asking the customer their preferred level of sweetness; addressing customer service with staff, etc I truly hope improvements are made. Wishing you and your team much success.
