They did an amazing job on our yard. We had an idea of what we wanted but they really came up with a great idea and did it perfectly. They removed our whole back yard. Yard imperfections is more like it. Avoid at all cost!!! I unfortunately was roped I to dealing with them due to Lowes in Albany, Oregon. If you have read the negative reviews and wonder if they are true, believe what you read. This goes back to October of 2022 when I made a huge mistake of trusted Lowes to install our fence. We did need a fence fast and with several quotes in hand we went with this option as they had the shortest lead time for install and a decent price plus financing. Fast forward wood was delivered and yard perfections showed up a couple of days later to install. It was wet and rainy during the install but still no excuse for the workmanship on the fence. I can't even open the man gate they installed because of the post, several panels at odd lengths, crooked cuts of boards and boards not even nailed to post. I followed the process and Lowes stated that Yard perfections was unresponsive to them. I had to reach out to get response. Then the lies from yard perfections and a 10 month saga started between yard perfections and Lowes, stating my fences issues came from my neighbor attaching their fence which didn't take place until after I originally presented the issues to Lowes. Every excuse has seemed to be made but the customer gets the short end of the stick. Why are they still in business? Why does Lowes allow such sub-par work? I should have listened to the reviews. They did some landscaping for us and while the initial work was ok, it didnt come out like I had planned, they made a crucial error when they laid the rock down. They didnt put any weed barrier down so now weeds are growing. I made the mistake of trusting them when they said there were previous weed barriers in the area so none were needed. If I had to do it all over again I would not hire them. Now I need to hire someone to come and rake the gravel and get a weed barrier down. I reached out to them about the problem and never received a reply. They are not a good company to do business with, find someone else! read more

They did a spring cleanup of flower beds and garden, and fixed a walkway where the roots of a tree had lifted the pavers. They came when they said they would and did a good job even in the rain and mud. read more

Yard Perfections was great. We found them through Lowes and would call on them again for fence support in a heart beat. They came over and took measurements before putting in for materials. They arrived when they said they would. They worked efficiently and their work is exactly what we wanted and asked for. When they found that our sprinkler system was in the way of our new fence posts. They came to us to discuss options and did the work to reroute the PVC pipe. They even stayed with us while we attempted to deal with difficult neighbors. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. Alerting everyone and anyone in Salem, Independence, and Monmouth Area this is a $7000 fence job done by a company called Oregon's Finest Painters. They also go by the name of Yard Perfections and Remodeling Perfections! They built the fence improperly and when asked to repair it, they came and took 150 boards off and left a huge mess and are no longer responding to phone calls or texts. It's been a nightmare with them from the beginning. Luckily they only got away with $3500....Our neighbor is disabled, has a dog, and large sections of the fence on her side are torn out. We STILL cannot let our dogs out into the yard. Filing complaints with BBB, etc. and spreading the word about these disreputable companies. Authorized Representative is Linda Cicneros, who is also a Real Estate Agent. This is a family-run entity, and I don't wish ill will on anyone, but I do not want to see others victimized in this way. We have the original contract, many, many texts since May 10 illustrating the dishonesty and excuses, and photos of the mistakes and destruction documented. We have a video of what we are left with. Note their reviews on FB pages are either family members or obviously made up. We didn't do the research. Live and learn. They are only licensed and bonded for yard work. read more

They told us they were coming on Thursday, didn't specify a time. When they arrived they failed to notify us they were here and let them selves into our yard. Our gate wasn't unlocked and they need to be let in. We have chicken wire along our fence to keep our small dogs in and it had been ripped off and moved to another side of the fence. They then came to the door to tell us they were here AFTER they let them selves in. I called and spoke with the owner and was told my gate was already unlocked and he had only showed up to get paid and then left for another meeting. He didn't apologize for the damage to our fence or for failing to notify us they were entering our yard. I had also tried to reach them several times that day to see if I could get an estimate of what time they'd be arriving and no one answered. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Will not be using there services again. read more
