I hired Green Acres Landscape for a one day job to install two water lines and 12 sprinkler heads…read moreinto an existing sprinkler system. I paid half up front and waited for work to start, 3 weeks later I find they forgot to put me on their schedule. When they showed up, it was not the crew I was told would be there, just one guy with a shovel instead of power equipment. He dug some trenches 12" deep and others 3" deep. He said it was harder digging in the backyard so he only went 3" deep. He broke an existing PVC drainage line and started putting duct tape on it to fix it. I said fix it correctly and he left the job site. I called the office and they said he will be back in the morning to fix it. While I was standing there with him, in front of the broken pipe, he buried it without fixing it. I made him dig it up and fix it. When the sprinkler heads were installed and adjusted, I started the sprinkler system to test it. It watered the side of my house and my neighbors yard. He said the 25 foot ratchet heads were could not water an 8' wide yard without getting water on the house. They came out the next day and replaced the heads and tried again. They had issue after issue and moved and changed the type of head three more times. It was a total clown show. The sprinklers did not go to the property line and I had 18" of dead yard. A Relationship Manager came over and he looked at everything and said he would fix the following day, which he did. The next day everything was fixed and I was happy. The manager handed me a letter from the ladies in the office. I thought it was a gift certificate to a local restaurant for all the trouble I experienced, but it was a letter stating that they were done working on my sprinkler system and any other repairs or issues will cost me $82 an hr. It was a slap in the face and poor customer service. They turned a one day job into a nightmare without one word of regret.

Then when we were finished he asked to use my restroom. He was in there 15 minutes, stunk up my whole house. He didn't even have the courtesy to turn on the fan and shut the door when he exited. He gave me a $4000 estimate, to which I gave a $2000 deposit. He told me he would start work the following week. On Tuesday I called because I had not heard from him in a week. I expressed that it made me uncomfortable that he hadn't called. I asked for a start date or a return of the check. He let me know he hadn't cashed the check yet, and he would start Thursday. I considered canceling with him because I don't like to hire flaky people. He had proved to be unprofessional by not showing up on time or canceling the appointment. I wasted my whole day waiting for this tool to show up and then he just ends up flaking out in the end. On Wednesday I noticed he had deposited my check, I assumed we were good to go. Thursday at 9:30 am he calls to tell me he cant do the job and he will write me a check and bring it by. A great waste of my time and holding up my project. I guess I should be thankful he didn't end up doing the job, it would had been a complete headache. This is an unprofessional shady company, look elsewhere
