Went out of my comfort zone and tried something unique! The kurobuta pork burger caught my eye... I had to try it. I loved it! Service is typically good and the staff is generally courteous. One big downside is it's always very dark inside which makes it hard to read the menus. read more

Pleasantly surprised by how tasty my salmon and chicken was BUT, there was nothing really special going on with my salad. That being said, all my requests were met and our server was lovely. My husband got the tuna entree (he wanted a cheese burger lol) and said it was fine but I could tell he was unsatisfied and thought it was pretty bland. He also mentioned that the tuna was still cold in the center (it was seared with a sesame crust). When we walked in, the atmosphere was super loud and crammed. However, we did get seated right when we walked in. We ordered drinks which were 5 stars. We got the Pineapple Express and the Hawaiian mule- SO GOOD. Then we ordered calamari bc it's our favorite app. It was pretty hard and chewy. Tasted like something frozen. Then for the main course- my husband had the Nashville hot chicken and pancakes. He loved his meal. He said it was a 5 star meal. I had the lobster shrimp noodle something, the shrimp and lobster also tasted frozen and microwaved. The noodles were very good though and had good flavor. We are happy we used our gift card but will not be back anytime soon. I always love going to Yard house as I think they have one of the best deals for happy hour food. A good selection of appetizers are half off. I usually always get the chicken nachos and ch lettuce wraps, but I decided to change it up. I got the poke nachos instead. You get ahi tuna seaweed spicy mayo small chili peppers and scallions. The wonton strips they were on were a little stall probably wouldn't order them again. I ordered the ahi sashimi, that was delicious the sauce that it was on was great and loved the presentation. I had to get the garlic noodles and I always love them. However I wish it was more flavorful. I love Parmesan truffle fries and they did not disappoint. They were so good like I expected. My family and I eat here every couple months or so and we've never had a bad meal or experience. The staff is always nice and the meals taste wonderful. I think we've tried most of the menu by now. Personally, we appreciate a quieter and more low key ambiance and with the limited capacity the restaurant was calm and relaxing- even during happy hour which used to become crowded and noisy fairly quickly. For vegetarians - if you like the thought of the poke nachos just ask to sub extra avocado. So pre COVID times, Yard House was a fun get together with friends sharing drinks and "yards". The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived at 8pm and the booths are spacious. Let's start off with the poke nachos. Holy cow, that was the best thing I had on the menu. It seems so simple yet executed quite tasty. By the end of our appetizers, my friends and I were sad it ended so quickly. The rice bowl was bland. It was too much of everything and not enough rice. Not good proportions. I've been going to yard house several times a week over the past month. I would like to say that it is one of the best "laid back" establishments I have ever been to. Have to update my review with the lunch I had last Saturday. The last time we were here I did not notice the Nashville Hot Chicken on the menu. I saw it this time and just closed the menu. Wasn't till after our waiter was taking our order that he told me that they have it in a sandwich too. I still went for the entree, comes with 3 sweet potato pancakes, pickles, ranch dressing and honey hot sauce. Just so delicious! The chicken was crispy/crunchy to the last bite, and it comes with 2 breast pieces. The sweet potato pancakes were awesome, I used the honey hot sauce on them and that was a hit! Was funny, I was telling our server how damn good everything was and about that time here comes 2 more plates ordered by 2 guys who were seated back behind my wife, guess they know what is good too. I believe this was the best meal I've had out in a long time. It was so tasty. The portion is huge. Thank goodness I'll get to have it again tomorrow for lunch. This place was simply awesome from start to finish! I came here on my trip to Denver in the beautiful area of Park Meadows and it was a great experience. Our waiter Jordan was attentive and prompt when he was taking our orders and helping us with the menu. The cheese curds were excellent and fried perfectly and made for a great appetizer. Vibe is good. I hold meetings here a lot. Every time I order I get something different and every time it's either really good or terrible. Quality is good . Just whack flavor. And staff is either really good or the worst I've ever dealt with. Vodka penne is like noodles with vodka and heavy cream and it separated One time I went I had 4 ppl with me and I swear we didn't place an order for 30 minutes, they brought out entrees before the apps, and we never got refill on wine beer or even water.
