They stopped giving confirmation appointments so they could charge for for the missed appointment, but call you to tell you that you missed your appointment and if you'd like to schedule another one in an outrageous time in the future, then the cycle continues. They've seriously gotten so lazy. And good luck trying to get in an exam and cleaning. I called to make an appointment for both an annual exam and cleaning because I'll finally be home but was told that the next available cleaning was in 3 months. I was able to get an exam appointment though. They leave no time in their work day for exceptions or emergency cases. So if you knock out or chip a tooth really bad, it's going to stay that way. During the exams, Dr. Delos Reyes rushes while he probes at your teeth, and doesn't communicate with you aside from the standard "how are you today?" I haven't seen the inside of this office for years, even though I've been trying to. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who doesn't know what my schedule is going to look like in 3 or 4 months, so I'm uncomfortable setting the appointment. I've been so frustrated with this office for 2+ years that I'm finally leaving! If I'm going to spend money on a doctor, it's going to be one I can count on and who actually genuinely cares about treating the patient as opposed to making money!!!!!!!! Even Planned Parenthood makes confirmation calls, and their services are free!! I'm glad I have great dental hygiene or else my teeth would be falling off and rotten because they haven't seen me in so long.

I started seeing him sometime in early 00s late 90s and something about the way he cares for his patients was what I absolutely loved about him. I read the other Yelpers review on how he felt and it's too bad he didn't have the same experience that my family and I had. I have always felt welcomed and we never felt like we were tested on. Each time me or my family visited him we all felt he made very professional decisions and has always cared about our health. Dr. Salmassi has been a physician for quite a long time so he has a lot of knowledge and experience. His staff has been with him for a long time too and I absolutely love Chris and Pearl. They both are extremely friendly and they have always been helpful. The downside of his office is that the wait time can be a little too much and if you don't have patience, this may not be the office for you, but just know he's a very compassionate and empathetic doctor and me and my family absolutely love him!

No big deal, I get it. So we make an appt and come back at 1pm. We come back at 1 and doctor is still on his lunch break. We check in and my dad is not seen until 3pm. Maybe because it's Sunday and staff is limited and they were actually very friendly is my reasoning for not rating them lower. So I am grateful for that, but the time it took I could have just drove down to Bakersfield. In the past the urgent cares I have checked into at Bako were no more than an hour wait, some even shorter.

I didn't make any appointment online, but walked in. The practitioner was just going to lunch but they took my information and called when I could come back. I waited probably ten minutes before being seen. Everyone I came into contact with was professional and competent. The facility was very clean. This may be outside of my insurance network, but it was worth it to be seen and have a local urgent medical care. Highly recommend.
