No big deal, I get it. So we make an appt and come back at 1pm. We come back at 1 and doctor is still on his lunch break. We check in and my dad is not seen until 3pm. Maybe because it's Sunday and staff is limited and they were actually very friendly is my reasoning for not rating them lower. So I am grateful for that, but the time it took I could have just drove down to Bakersfield. In the past the urgent cares I have checked into at Bako were no more than an hour wait, some even shorter.

I didn't make any appointment online, but walked in. The practitioner was just going to lunch but they took my information and called when I could come back. I waited probably ten minutes before being seen. Everyone I came into contact with was professional and competent. The facility was very clean. This may be outside of my insurance network, but it was worth it to be seen and have a local urgent medical care. Highly recommend.

Where do I begin?…read more Dr. Suesberry is recognized as a wonderful physician and has serviced Delano for probably more years than I have been born and unfortunately is the only Ear Nose and Throat specialist in Delano, matter fact, he was my ENT as a child. Dr. Suesberry was my oldest son's ENT specialist and during the time my son received services, I felt very uncomfortable every single time we visited this office. We were always talked down to as if we should already know about everything related to the ENT and if we did not know, we were belittled every single time by the physician. When going over my son's condition the doctor was always condescending and it always felt unwelcoming. Til this day, I don't know if my son was born hard of hearing/deaf because when I asked that question to Dr. Suesberry, his response would always be "your son doesn't know how to respond, so there is no way we can tell if he can hear". Years later, I'm being told by so many different people that ENT's have devices that are able to measure or read an infants hearing with that device; however, I was told by this physician who specializes in that particular specialty that he was not able to determine that at the time. I would never recommend anyone to this physician because of the service we received. As a parent, we always put our trust in doctors and always depend on their expertise to help us or to guide us to the correct path on helping our children or ourselves and because of the way we were treated in this office, I don't feel it was professional at all. I read the other review and they had a pleasant experience, glad someone had a positive experience as I would never go back to this doctor. I'm not saying he's a bad person, I'm just letting you know about my experience in this office and that I trusted this physician who has so much years of experience to help my child and we did not get the service or experience that we hoped for.

I started seeing him sometime in early 00s late 90s and something about the way he cares for his patients was what I absolutely loved about him. I read the other Yelpers review on how he felt and it's too bad he didn't have the same experience that my family and I had. I have always felt welcomed and we never felt like we were tested on. Each time me or my family visited him we all felt he made very professional decisions and has always cared about our health. Dr. Salmassi has been a physician for quite a long time so he has a lot of knowledge and experience. His staff has been with him for a long time too and I absolutely love Chris and Pearl. They both are extremely friendly and they have always been helpful. The downside of his office is that the wait time can be a little too much and if you don't have patience, this may not be the office for you, but just know he's a very compassionate and empathetic doctor and me and my family absolutely love him!

Takes his time to get to know his patients and find the right treatment for them. His many years of experience helps a lot. My usual visits are for checkups but also addressing some lower back issues I have had lately due to heavy Camera lifting. I highly recommend him to anyone living in Delano and Bakersfield areas for internal, general and cosmetic medical needs. My last visit there was last week on friday. His office has plenty of Parking too by the way. Lol.
