I wish I could give this deli more than 5 stars. Where do I begin? The employees are amazing, the food is incredible and they are the originators of the pickle sandwich. I am beyond obsessed with the pickle sandwiches. My go to order is a pickle sandwich with bacon, honey maple turkey, munster cheese, lettuce and a side of honey mustard. They also sell north fork potato chips which are out of this world. Best deli I have been to in a very long time. read more

The hubs is originally from Long Island. He was craving a Bacon Egg Cheese on a roll. On our drive to the Hamptons we stopped at the Yaphank Deli thanks to Yelp. The BEC was excellent and served with a smile:) We had to try the freshly baked chocolate brownie, delicious! read more

I stopped here with my family on our way back from strawberry picking- not only were the sandwiches delicious and super fresh the employees were all so friendly and went above and beyond when my wife accidentally left her wallet behind, they looked up her number and notified us right away. I go here because I have a gluten allergy and they are the first establishment to start the pickle sandwich. But when you go in & order it & explain you have celiac and please don't use the same knife you use for a regular sandwich. The eye rolls and nasty faces aren't warranted. It's hard enough having a disease. The facial expressions and attitude you should keep to yourself. VERY disrespectful. And my sandwich wasn't made how I asked for it either. read more

Definitely an upgrade with the new ownership. I'd call it a high 3 stars. Breakfast Special doesn't have as much bacon as the previous owners but it's still good & the deli is much cleaner. The cajun chicken soup was also very good. read more

I must complement the service I received the last snowy day we just had ! I stopped on my way home from a long day at work craving a turkey sandwich. My blood sugar was crashing and needed to eat . The sunshiny clerk welcomed me with smiles and made a fresh delicious sandwich with plenty of fresh lettuce and tomato . The food in the salad display looked old, had dried edges on it . I would not have ordered anything from that display. I ordered the "Italian" sandwich, was looking forward to the sharp tang of the red wine vinegar and olive oil( as advertised). Had a BEC and everything was bomb! The bacon was crisp, eggs perfectly made as requested. And the staff so nice and friendly. The interior very cute, reminds me of a modernized barnyard vibes lol. Iced coffee was a 7 out of 10, so still good (I have had better but I'm sure because we all have favorites. The creamers were good) Overall great experience, clean, cute space and fast service too. This place feels like it's family owned, but I don't know the details on that- the employees are polite and eager to get you want you need as you walk in. The food is also pretty good and large. Ordered Turkey Rice soup. It was hot, but there was no visible rice, and they used chopped up Boars Head sandwich meat turkey chunks in the soup. No Bueno! If you are going to offer a soup, make it real. Use rice, use real turkey! read more

This place is amazing!!! I was shocked when I saw the size of their salads. Looked like about a pound of meat or chicken and plenty of cheeses and big tomato wedges, from about 2-3 tomatoes. Corned beef Ruben and Italian hero's were both good as well. You're not gonna find places like this outside the Northeast. I laugh when I walk into these chains like Jason's Deli, etc. They have absolutely no clue. If you walk into a place and there's no Boar's Head being used, walk the hell out!!! read more

This is a great German deli in Yaphank. I never realized how good it was until recently when I tried their bratwurst and sauerkraut. So good. Even the German style potato salad was awesome! I grew up in the upstairs of my parents', and prior to that grandparent's, "Klimeks German Deli" in Yaphank down the block from here. So I can tell you that I know good German food and this place is great. Yaphank always has good German deli food and happy this place is carrying on the tradition. read more

Run over here and order a "Big Joe" if you like roast beef. The roast beef was a perfect medium rare, served on garlic bread with mozzarella and bacon. This is my go-to hero, and this is the best one I've ever had I think. Bonus points for the homemade baked goods and for the affable and cute clerks. read more

Was in the area visiting a friend and stumbled upon this little mom and pop deli by chance and I'm glad I did! The gentleman and woman at the counter were so friendly and attentive as soon as I walked in! Chicken cutlets looked amazing so I ordered them on a whole wheat roll with crispy bacon American cheese lettuce and light mayo, decided to stay and ear ar the little dining area w high top table/chairs & a flat screen playing News12 overhead to enjoy my lunch,Sandwich was absolutely delicious! I will surprise you all..... I found this place using Yelp. IK shocker, to be fair tho.. idk how else you would find this place. Here is the story, I was on my way from Melville Ny, to go to River head for Jury duty.... Yuck.. I was so hungry that I popped open yelp and found this place close by. I was greeted by a nice parking lot in which I parked right in front of the Deli. I walk inside and the place was actually kinda nice! I order a BEC on a Bagel and a nice hot coffee. The ppl behind the counter were very professional and kind. I was so happy to actually eat a good meal on my way to this miserable experience, I def didn't want to eat the food at the court house. I hopefully never have to be back to the court house again but If i do I will be stopping here next! read more

I was hopeful when I saw bagel boss was opening a location in yaphank, but I tried it twice and both times were terrible. It was expensive, rather lackluster food quality, and they got my orders wrong both times whether ordering in person or on the app. I finally came across this place on yelp, which markets mainly as a deli (doesn't even come up on Apple Maps when you search for bagels), but saw another review that highlighted their bagel options. So tried it out. We finally found our morning bagel spot! There's not a huge selection or variety of bagels unless you get there early, but they're all fresh and delicious and they have all the staples. Their deli sandwiches are also amazing, very generous portions for the price and again, everything is fresh and tastes great. Will definitely be coming back regularly to this spot. Don't let the looks outside deceive you, it's a great place!
