three plates of chicken and broccoli

My husband got the General Tso chicken while I got the teriyaki chicken. Both were phenomenal! I was partial to the General Tso, I would definitely recommend both. We will definitely be returning.

I came from California today and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express across the street. I was kind of skeptical about the restaurant after reading the negative reviews which were dated years ago but I decided to give it a try. Anyway, I found the food was good given the small town location. My friend ordered the broccoli chicken and I order the family delight. They were good and the portion was generous. The prices are also very reasonable. The food here exceeded my expectation because I thought it would be the typical Chinese American taste (sweetness in every dish.) The food wasn't greasy because they didn't use any oil and used water to cook instead. The prawns were juicy and cooked just right and so did the chicken, beef and vegetables. We also ordered the hot and sour soup and it was quite spicy and tasty. Given the location, taste, service and price, I gave it a five star.

When my dad and I pulled up I didn't think anything of it; at first we didn't think it was open because there was only one car parked buuuuut let me just say this is the best Chinese food I've ever had! I totally recommend coming here!

Decent American Chinese food with decent buffet for a small town. Delivery is usually pretty fast and prices are fair.

Whenever we walked in for dinner around half the tables were full of people and service was still very fast. The interior of the restaurant is nice but nothing too standout from other Chinese restaurants. We got cream cheese puffs, house spicy wide noodle soup, a chicken dish, soup dumplings, cream baos , and a fish dish, and all of it was fairly good. My least favorite was the cheese puffs, which were incredibly hot but I didn't find much very special about either the filling nor the crunchy wrapper. My next critique is their handmade noodles. It is personal preference, but I prefer my noodles to be a lot more chewy and on the more al dente side of things, rather than the more soft noodles we got (both the wide and the original noodles). As for what I liked, it was just about everything else we got. The house noodle soup was nice and comforting, not being super heavy but still carrying good flavor (I would ask for the regular version and add in spice after tasting the broth). Both the fish and chicken dishes that we got were very interesting and I especially enjoyed the lightness of the fish dish. The soup dumplings we got were very flavorful, well balanced, and had a very bouncy yet soft wrapper texture. The cream baos, though admittedly lacking some vanilla and texture consistency across each bao, were still really good and comparable to ones you'd find in Bellaire. Overall, my experience was fairly good and I would go here again if I find myself in the Pearland area.

They did change the menu a bit, but it had what I exactly wanted. We ordered the Szechuan Mala Spicy Rice Noodle Bowl w/ Beef Slices, Popcorn Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and Xiao Long Bao. The noodle bowl is the best. Tons of flavor and ingredients with the vermicelli noodles are just amazing. The popcorn chicken is delicious, nothing special. The shrimp tempura is delicious and has an amazing crunch. The Xiao Long Bao is more of a soup dumpling dim sum style. It was pretty delicious, but it didn't taste really fresh like you'd get from an actual dim sum restaurant. The staff are friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at. Parking lot is a bit small, but you can park on the other side of the buildings where there are more parking.

We originally got sent milk tea instead and we thought this was the grossest Thai Tea, but we found out later on that we were given milk tea instead lol. Either way, they both didn't taste good. Service was spot on, quick, and we got our food in what felt like maybe a few minutes. We started off with pork dumplings for the kiddo, which he INHALED in moments. For entrees, we split the orange chicken and the Spicy/Numbing Pot. The orange chicken was spot on. The sauce was sweet but not painfully sweet or thick/clumpy. Really nice orange flavor and tender chicken. So much fun eating it since it is gluten free! Our kiddo also devoured this dish! Mild - not spicy at all! The Spicy Numbing Pot, while a little oily/greasy on the bottom, was still delicious! I appreciated that it wasn't knock your socks off spicy - it had a solid kick, and so flavorful. I love eating dishes with Sichuan Pepper; it has a lot of flavor, and the tingling is so much fun. This dish was perfect with some rice, and it wasn't too heavy for the middle of the day. The prices were really reasonable, and there was enough food for leftovers which we ate later that night. Our only regret is not getting the duck appetizer, but we will be sure to get it next time. We can't wait to go back, and Tiger Noodle will happily be in regular rotation for our family! You can't go wrong!
