Awesome My recent visit to Yang Optometric was awesome. I haven't had a proper eye exam in quite some time... many many years. To start, the staff was incredibly friendly and fun to interact with. They do a great job of creating a professional, but laid back environment. Watching them interact with the people coming in made it clear that they really have great relationship with the returning clientele. Dr. Yang was also great. He was a friendly and easy to speak with and did a great job explaining everything. I especially appreciated that Dr. Yang takes the time to break everything down to make sure you understand all your options. He also doesn't force anything on you. Now that I've started up eye exams, I'll definitely be coming back here. You should absolutely visit Dr. Yang for your next eye exam. read more

We had been driving a pretty far distance for years to keep our old optometrist, but with their distance and limited Saturday appointments, we decided to make a change. The Anaheim Hills Buzz lead us to Dr. Yang's office. The office staff was super friendly and nice. They were great with our kids. Dr. Yang was also very nice, funny and educational. I made an appointment for a simple eye exam and as a young lady I'm already weary of male doctors . I found the day before the appointment, Dr.Yang has been searching me on linked in. This place is extremely unprofessional and so creepy. What purpose would a doctor have for searching me on social media at all? Let alone after hours? I just recently got my eyes examined by Dr. Yang and I must say what excellent service that's provided here. To start off, his front staff is very friendly and professional. Angela and Marian are both helpful and quite knowledgeable. They were great in assisting me in finding the right pair of glasses that would work with my round face and small nose. In addition, my colleague also got his prescription filled for a new pair of glasses at Dr. Yang's office and he was happy with the nice selection. (The guy is super picky) He must have tried on over a dozen or so glasses. Dr. Yang had the following: Ray Bans, Kate Spade, Hugo Boss , John Varvatos, Oakley just to name a few. There's NO pushy sales which we all can appreciate. Overall, I think Dr. Yang is more than just "OK" .......he is AWESOME and has a lot of integrity. read more

Wonderful exam, Dr. Yang was very informative in explaining my problems. Recommended Lumify over Visine eye drops. Thoroughly explained the difference and how harmful Visine can be. My family and I have visited Dr. Yang on several occassions for our eye exams and I must say he is extremely professional and knowledgeable. One of the major pluses is that his staff is friendly- Adriana was helpful and made our visit very smooth. I like that we can fill out our forms in advance online so we don't get a ton of paperwork. This place is well-equipped, cost-efficient and courteous. This was my fourth stop following three appointments at other good optometrists. However, the others either lacked equipment, inventory or staff diligence. I use high end customized Zeiss lenses and lightweight rimless titanium frames. Paul Yang and his staff had it all. Latest Zeiss diagnostic equipment ( unusual for optometrists to have Zeiss inscription equipment) silhouette frames, the best prices and lots of patience to get you through the process. read more

I went for my first visit and was extremely impressed not only with Dr. Yangs high tech equipment but he also took the time to thoroughly explain each part of the exam along with the most in depth detailed exam/results finding I have ever experienced. I had no idea what i was doing with insurance or anything else, but they took care of that and i had nothing to worry about. They made me feel at home! Customer Service was fantastic. I recently changed insurance. Yesterday I went on google and started to search for an eye Dr. close by my home and work. I ended up choosing Dr Yang. I couldn't have found a more awesome office!!! I was not rushed. The customer service I got was excellent, the office was comfortable and clean. Everything that was done to me was explained, questions answered. Dr. Yang and his assistant made me feel so comfortable and welcome! I felt bad I was taking so long to make a decision on my frames, again not once was I rushed, or made to feel like I was taking too long. Adriana was so kind and patient and helpful. Dr Yang is awesome!! My wife started going to him two years ago. She's a long time contacts wearer, (37 years), and has NEVER experienced an eye doctor like him. She has very poor vision, and he has always taken so much time to make Sure she can see her best, allowing trails for different powers, bifocal lenses, etc. He's great and she highly recommends him! I went in to get a new pair of glasses after breaking my old ones. First, the staff is very friendly, on the phone and when you get there. I had no wait time and the young man zipped me through the routine tests. Dr. Yang was very congenial and explained everything at my level. I went with his suggestion for type of lens because I sit in front of the computer most of the day. When I picked up my glasses, they gave me a quick try in front of a computer and I was surprised that they worked exactly as he said they would! I'm so glad Dr. Yang opened his own practice. I had been a patient of his for the last couple of years, and have requested him by name when he was an associate at another facility. Now he's opened his own practice, and he has all of the latest and greatest in high-tech diagnostic equipment. Dr. Yang's approach is a perfect balance of casual and clinical, with an accessibility that makes you feel instantly comfortable. You can tell he really loves what he does. His new office is modern in both form and function. There are video game consoles for the kids, a knowledgeable and friendly staff, great location, and they sell my favorite brand of eyewear: Silhouette! I've been wearing Silhouette for 7 years, and Jennifer helped me find the perfect new frame. The lenses I got require the latest test equipment from Zeiss. No other doctor in the region has it, to my knowledge. It's like seeing in HD. Iris knows her way around all the pre-test equipment, and even took on my son in WII Sports while he was waiting for his exam. read more

Went to see Dr.Yang due to being in excruciating pain from a previously misdiagnosed (by another optometrist)eye infection. They fit me in immediately with no appointment and diagnosed me correctly right away. After 3 days of pain i was pain free within hours. Dr.Yang is not only clearly very passionate about his work, but took the time to show me pictures of my eye, talk about the problem and explain exactly what was going on. He was kind, personable and compassionate. Ive had many eye dr's over the years but he is definitely one of a kind. He even text me the next day to check in and make sure i was ok. While living in Yorba Linda, my family and I would always go to Yang Optometric Center for our yearly check ups. Since moving out of the area, I've yet to find any place that's as good as Yang Optometric's. Because of this, when I plan my yearly trips back to Cali for a visit, I make sure to schedule my check up with Dr Yang. Dr Yang is very thorough and knows his stuff. Yep...5 Stars it is!!!! From the time we (my husband, my son and myself) walked in the door, we were already greeted with a big smile by Jennifer! I found Dr. Yang's clinic on Yelp and I was quite pleased on how close it is to my home. Jennifer, was happy to show my husband where my 2 yr old son can play (cute kid area by the ways), and my husband was even offered something to drink! You don't find too many clinics that would ask you if you want something to drink, nowadays. As for Dr. Yang, I've never encountered a doctor who can be MORE detailed and precise in explaining EVERYTHING to me. From the machines and the results showing on his computer screen. Once again, never had a doctor explain everything so thorough Lastly, picking my frames were quite fun because Jennifer helped me a lot, and was honest if it didnt look right.
