03/07/2023. For starters the language barrier so difficult to communicate what I needed. Which makes one feel foolish. After going back and forth for a few minutes trying to explain what my body needs I give up. She doesn't understand or care to understand. No one comes to help with translation. *Sigh* They no longer offer a full menu. Gone are the 30 minutes of foot massage and add on from there. $50 for a 30 minute massage is outrageous. I can say that because I am in the industry. The face cut out on the bed was so incredibly uncomfortable! I had to keep adjusting my neck because the opening isn't big enough. So now my neck hurts. The language barrier was a big issue. I kept trying to communicate but all we could seem to understand of each other was the the service was $50. She asked about pressure. I said medium as I didn't want to ask for more. She was slight and that usually involves excessive force and can be painful due to force not skill. She gave a half hearted massage. When I go to check out again, language barrier. She is telling me that I will be charged $2.00 service fee for card. Which I understand and agree to. She proceeds to try to explain to me that she must put in a total to run the card. $52. Here is my biggest issue. She wants me to tip. Again, I am in the industry and find this very unprofessional. Once I understand what she wants. I say $57. Only $5.00 she asks? She looks at me with a blank stare on her face as if she is waiting for me to add more. I explain to her that is all my budget can afford. She stares at me blankly for a moment longer as if to give me the opportunity to change my mind. I should have said on 2nd thought. No tip! I think I was too shocked to come up with a better answer. The paper work was filled out as an afterthought and after the fact. Which I would have before hand if she would have mentioned it and perhaps she would have actually addressed my needs. I will NOT be back. Take it from this LMT go some place else that will do a better job and respect you as a client! This kind of experience doesn't truly represent my industry and what I love to do! I have mixed feelings about my experience at Yan Foot Reflexology. My best friend's mom booked a massage for the three of us and they were able to accommodate us same day. When we first walked in I noticed it was different than other places I had been to but I decided to keep an open mind. We got ourselves checked in and ran to the bathroom before our massage only to find that the bathroom door barely shuts. I also noticed evidence of smoking in the back area. Once we were done in the bathroom we were brought to a large room with massage chairs. The room didn't have walls so it was only separated from the other rooms and the front desk area by a curtain. This made it hard to relax considering we could easily hear front desk conversation as well as the phone which was answered during our massage multiple times. Before our massage we were asked to remove our pants which we all did in the same room. From what I've heard you'll need to request separate rooms if you want them. While we were getting ready, one of the women working took my cardigan from around my waist and set it down for me which I could've done myself. It was a little frantic and weird but there was a small language barrier so I just moved past it. We were asked to remove our shirts halfway through the massage so they could massage our backs/shoulders. I would've preferred to change completely prior to the massage. I'm torn because I felt pretty uncomfortable with the atmosphere prior to the massage, but the massage itself was really good. The knots in my shoulders disappeared and she also did a short scalp massage which was amazing. I was excited to experience the hot stones as well. I really can't complain about the massage or the price, but this is not a place I would choose to return to on my own. read more

While it has been some time since I was last in, I noticed that the options of services had changed. This I understood, what I couldn't understand was the sign right next to the pricing was saying that they encouraged tipping if the service was good, but was suggesting 30%. However, I was asked to prepay for my service + $5 to pay with a card and then run my card a second time to tip + an additional $5. The whole scenario seemed off to me and I choose to leave. Much different experience than years past and discouraging as my neck and back are in extreme pain. read more

WOW!!!! That was the best hour & 40.00 I've spent in a long time. No appointment, just popped in and man did they work me over. The 1 hr reflexology for 40.00 was such a deal. My favorite part .....got to leave my clothes on She hit all the pressure points in my feet, few times even felt the tension release in my calves. 7 days a week, open late...May be a weekly self care event for me! read more

Phenomenal. I wanted a hard and deep massage in a cluster of knots in my back that has been hurting me for a month. I expressed that to my masseuse, and when she didn't understand, the manager came in and explained to her what I was asking, and even showed her what I meant! My masseuse used her entire body weight to get deep into my back, which was so cool. She worked so hard! After my 30 minutes was up, I was offered more time and gladly accepted. This place smells of marijuana when you walk in(to each his own) Just a heads up. There is a surrounding business that plays pretty loud bass music. The ladies are sweet but they talked throughout my massage... Which made it hard to relax. Overall, I didn't expect too much but, I do feel I have had much better experiences elsewhere! read more

I was given a gift certificate with no expiration date went in for my one hr massage the woman would not honor the gift certificate all she kept saying "very old" it was barely over a year if you are going to have a expiration on your gift certificates you need to have it printed on it in English. When I told her I would take it up with the credit card company she was refusing to give it Back to me I literally had to snatch it out of her hand. I've received various resort spa massages across the US and a few in Mexico... this little spot my mom found in Burleson is BY FAR the best I've ever received. And THE CHEAPEST. The two nice ladies know what they're doing. I made this yelp account just to let anyone interested know it's worth it. I've been to Yan Foot several times but this last time was disgusting, and I'll never go back. I was getting a 1-hour full body massage. About 20 minutes into the massage my lady left and a man came in. His hands were rough and smelled like smoke. I wish this had been the worst part, though. After he took over he continued on my back (roughly) but his junk was repeatedly hitting me on the top of my head!!!! He was wearing sweats and it didn't feel like he had underwear on. Sadly, I was so disgusted and shocked I didn't speak up until after a minute or so. I kept hoping the woman would return. Finally I asked for the woman to come back and she did. I've never experienced anything like this. I will NEVER return. The massages before this one were pretty good. The environment isn't great. The rooms are somewhat open, with only a curtain separating you from the hallway. Not a door. You can hear when others come in, what's happening in the other rooms, etc. My husband even heard me ask for the woman to return and he was a couple rooms over. There is also an odd smell inside, and it's warm and stuffy. Don't go! And don't let your head get violated like I did. read more
