The ladies at the front desk were snobby. No customer service skills at all. They tried to over charge my mom, when confronted they acted snobby. When we left and I said "have a nice day!" They ignored up and started laughing. I turned around and said "have a nice day!" They finally acknowledged me. I have always gone to this nail salon but these past two times i went they did a terrible job! I have always asked for a fresh tip powder pedicure and these two ladies (rose and Nancy) did a horrible job. My experience with Rose was the worst l, all she did was give me a pedicure and then just did a white line over my toes with prep or base color. On the other hand, Nancy did a descent job on my toes but the process of her during them was painful! I had asked her for her opinion about me whether getting full acrylic on my toes or just powder but for some reason she miss understood and got offended that she was pinching and pulling my toes with anger. So the actual nail techs that did my nails were great and my pedicure was awesome howeverrrrrr when it came to paying they tired to charge me $100 JUST FOR MY NAILS! So I questioned her and she was like yes becuase they used gel on your nails I told her the did not it was all dip except the top coat which is what they always use to cure them.... So she gave me my receipt and I left and looked it over and they definitely at over charged me so I marched right back in there and told her this is not right they charged me soooo wrong and she wanted to argue and finally gave me 15$ back.... She was very gentle and created a perfect nail each time. Our conversation was very pleasant because she spoke and understood English so well, which is not always the case. Hubby & I did a walk in mani & pedi service. The place is quite and relaxing. We went here on a saturday morning, so there wasn't a huge wait. Hubby got a classic manicure, not a fan! When we left, his nails were nicely buffed however his cuticles looked WORSE than before he went in. Not sure if the nail tech is new.. or... just... not sure what she was doing. But I gotta find him someone else to fix /clean asap =( It seemed both of us were not impressed with our manicures. Thankfully, I just did Gel color no cuticle work..but even then, the gel was a disaster (just regular gen on my natural nails). The way she applied the color made it look like I haven't gotten my nails done in a week. LIke it looked grown out...maybe she just started doing nails? It wasn't smooth... and took her a bit of time to apply the gel color. I'm giving a 4 star because our heavenly pedicures were AMAZING. I'm actually sad that I was so focused on hating the manicures that I forgot to get the names of the two techs that did our pedicures.. because they were AMAZING. Took my dog to the groomer next door and decided to get my nails done during the wait. Big mistake! Wanted simple short blue French tips and even gave a reference picture. They came out thick and wide. The French tip cover half the nail. They are not filed evenly and has visible bubbles on each nail. I'm the kind of girl that goes to the nail salon as something to cheer me up and make me feel like a girl again. When I arrived, I was greeted kindly and the initial visit was pleasant. I got a set of dipped powder nails with a classic manicure. The gentleman doing my nails had RayBan glasses on but with no glasses (kind of 2008 right?) so he does my nails really fast, and when the manicure part comes I just get cuticle clippings and a one minute massage on my hands (very similar story to the lady's review below mine) I didn't think much of it but when I got home in good lighting, 3 of my nails are bumpy and the nails aren't smooth at all! I'm going up there in hopes they'll resolve this issue so I don't have to report them to TDLR UPDATE: Posted a review on their Facebook page and the manager has the NERVE to address the wine and not the nails or the poor hospitality I received from here! I came here with my co workers after a long day on our feet at work. We all wanted nails and pedicures, i was denied a pedicure because i didn't want anything done to my toenails, i already have gel on them and i like it. Then, i specifically asked not to have a certain tech because both times he's done my nails i didn't like them, but never complained. My luck, he was my tech. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! This isn't my normal nail place but i've been here before and it wasn't bad. I didn't want to go all the way into Burleson so I thought I would stop here and get my nails done. I always do the dip powder, so i came in got them done and all was fine. I was actually pretty happy with how quickly I was in and out because sometimes it can take a while. However...around the 3rd day after getting them done one had already chipped and it continued to get worse and worse with the chipping and breaking off! that's just ridiculous especially after only 3 days that should never happen! Well I've been super busy and just now got to go back in so at this point it's been a few weeks and my nails looks horrible I just wanted to have them taken off. I brought my receipt to them, they asked what I wanted to do so I told them I just want to have them taken off. Okay no problem they said...got it done and after I wash my hands I think alright i'm good to go. Nope...they still demanded their $10 for having to take them off even though it was obviously the guys fault my nails were not done correctly in the first place! The lady said I should have called and talked to a manager, that shouldn't matter when I wouldn't of been able to come in until today anyways! Now i'm sure some of the ones that work there do their job correctly, however don't go to Blake because he's the one that did my nails. I don't usually do reviews, and i'm not one to just put a place down because everyone has bad days but this just pushed me over the limit of ridiculousness! I will never do business in this establishment again ! I had gel nail polish put on 3 days after paying for gel nail polish! The polish faded from a pink to coral and looked like it had been mixed together and had both colors faded thru out . I returned to the store to get them to fix it- mind you the nail polish is intact and clearly is defective. This is the only salon I have done business with for 2 years since covid! First she (she being the owner of the store )argued with me ,accused me of doing something to the polish , we have never seen that , she asked me to show her the color which miraculously I remembered . She then wanted to see my receipt and wanted my last 4 of my card . I did not have a receipt , I gave her the last 4 of my card , she accused me of lying about coming there to begin with . She was rude , condescending and demonstrated very poor customer service . Save your money go somewhere else , they take no responsibility for their errors and refused to make it right . When I told her I would leave and not go bank take my business elsewhere . She said ok we try and make people happy if your not happy then that's fine . They used to be amazing! I loved them because they were the cleanest nail place I have ever been to, and that is far more important than their work. I recommended them over and over. Until now. I know times are tough and maybe you're trying to cut cost. That is no excuse to skimp on sanitation. You know those pink four sided buffers? Those are one time use according to the department of health. If you see white powder on them, that's nail dust. The one they used on my hands had white powder on them. They then placed them in a plastic box to use for the next person. I also didn't see any tools come out of a sanitized pack like before. I know I should've said something, and next time I will because of the infection I got. My finger became infected the next day way at the base where they were cutting. That's when my doctor asked about the tools and I did a quick memory check of what they did. I would suggest finding another place. We used Jack and Kevin to do our nails. The pedicures were amazing. I have been to this location before and they were excellent, I trusted I would have a great experience again but that was not the case. From my very first visit Cecilia, the store manager, was very kind, professional, and accommodating. I always knew my happiness was her end goal.
