Once you go in, you can take the elevator, but it wasn't working that day, so we took the stairs, which is around the corner. The building is also connected to the subway, so super convenient. The restaurant took the entire second floor to themselves (I think), so you won't miss it. They also have their own restrooms. The restaurant was clean, not too packed on a weekday for lunch. Service was great and the waitress was really polite. We ordered the assorted platter and upgraded for udon. Glad we made the right decision because it was quite oily after few pieces. If you're a meaty person, then the platter makes more sense and it was definitely enough for 3 people. Will come back!

One small observation was their shrimp tempura was actually using fried shrimp batter but it was still yummy. Looking through the menu, we decided to try the Aoyama Course ($89)The meal began with appetizer salad made with Japanese seaweed and snow crab, dressed with a sesame sauce. We also ordered a bottle of Japanese sake called "Demon Slayer" to pair with the meal. Along with chicken and beef dishes, they also have a noodle soup (which is delicious) as well as a sushi dish on the menu (which I'll never try, but I've heard is great), so there's something for everyone. This time around we added a sake pairing which was lovely and generous. We learned that Kei Hashimoto himself selects and brings back the sake from his trips to Japan. Location is beautifully appointed with diners each having their own discrete rooms. You don't even get to see the other diners and the environment feels private. The meal was exceptional.
