    Green Dragon Roll
    Alaleh P.

They offer both à la carte and all you can eat/taste options and they always have promos for both dine-in and takeout; so make sure to ask them about it. The restaurant is nicely renovated and the staff are friendly and helpful. Their menu includes maki rolls, sushi rolls, handhelds, sashimi, bowls, teriyaki, appetizers, desserts, etc. They're all made of fresh ingredients. Just make sure to read the ingredients of each roll before ordering, they might be different from the usual recipes you've used to. For example, their Green Dragon includes eels. They literally serve the most delicious pad-Thai I have ever tasted; so I strongly recommend trying them.

Went on New Year's Eve and I was blown away by the quality and the amazing service! I'm going again tomorrow I cannot wait!

Mississauga's got a good corner for Asian food. Corner by Spoon & Fork offers a new Japanese + Thai meal experience in a recently renovated interior. Among its poke bowls, Salmon Bowl includes seaweed salad, crabmeat, edamame, shiitake, corn atop rice & arugulas salad. Perhaps not the best fish but add garnishes, dressings & avocado, and it's quite the hearty meal. Its burrito sushi is better. Flaming Dragon comes with fresh tuna, togarashi, cabbage, avacado, pickled cucumber, tobiko and spicy mayo. It's a colourful presentation & good bite with 2 varieties of fish roes.

Had a reservation here for 6 people at 6pm on a Saturday. We were seated at a booth. Service was friendly and attentive. Big restaurant space and nicely decorated. Seems to be a popular restaurant as there was a wait for a table after we left. This was my first time at a restaurant that offered both Japanese and Thai food on the menu. I tried the unagi roll and lobster roll. It was alright. They do not use short grain rice here. They also offer bubble tea.

The best AYCE sushi spot! My family and I have long been customers of Spoon and Fork but this new location is beyond amazing! We love the variety of foods available on AYCE menu, fresh cuts of sashimi, and awesome service! Since we discovered this new location, we have come back 3 times within a month! This is not your typical AYCE sushi joint because it also has escargot, pad thai, dim sum and so much more! We love trying all the new foods and the wide variety of flavors! We also love that this place has easy parking, located in the heart of Mississauga (Heartland), and very zenn interior designing. The atmosphere is always positive! By far the best AYCE sushi spot I have ever been to!

Do not order sashimi from this place, it is definitely not fresh and really hard to eat. I think they are known for Thai dishes there.....

A way to celebrate your birthday party is always with the family this place has really good and affordable food choices! The serving is just right . Spoon and fork is a AYCE resto with an option of ala carte . Each serving is a very good portion and it also has a BUBBLE TEA option! Ambiance 5/5- it is a pretty spacious resto and a lot of parking space. Taste 5/5- very good taste that satisfy my cravings for both sushi and bubble tea! Price 5/5- much recommended! Price is fair and it's worth it ! I would definitely come back to spoon and fork corner!

    Salmon poke - to go

As good as it gets. This place has probably been my go-to place in the area for poké bowls and sushi burritos since 2017. I've been going here consistently since then and I never get tired of the food here. My go-to is definitely the build-your-own poké bowl - I usually get salmon with half brown rice and half spring mix veggies as the base. I like to mix it up and try the different sauces when I visit - I've recently visited here and the nice lady helping me out was super kind enough to recommend the sauce mixes she personally likes with her poké bowl and what other customers usually get with the different proteins - this was a nice gesture.. A+ customer service right there. Other than the poké bowls and sushi burritos (what I usually go here for), this place serves a variety of other things including sandwiches, pastas, salads, and unique drinks (bubble tea, smoothies, and other mixed beverages). I recently visited here and tried the mango coconut drink and I absolutely loved it. They have a ton of other drinks which I am for sure going to try in the future - from a quick glance of the drink menu, you'll see that the drinks (and the drink names) are super unique and not like what you see in other bubble tea places. This place follows good COVID protocols. There is hand sanitizer for customer use as soon as you enter, and food here is only for take-out (i.e. they have closed off the inside seating areas). There are a few tables outside which they allow customers to eat on.

I have never dined in, but I have gotten both takeout and delivery via Uber Eats many times from Corner by Spoon & Fork. They're my go-to restaurant whenever I'm craving poke in Mississauga. They are not stingy with ingredients and do offer substitutions when asked (I can't eat mushrooms, so I always asked to have them removed). Their Jasmine Milk Tea was good too, but they have sadly removed bubble teas from their menu.

Came here for all you can eat sushi, which was overall just an okay experience. The interior, however, is a very sleek and modern look with lots of space. As for the service and food, my group that I came with agreed that the taste of their sushi and dishes were very average. Service was pretty slow as well, had to wave a server over several times because we had to wait to get approval from a server every time we sent an order through the iPad and for times where my table needed refills on our drinks. Another con is they have a limit of 6 pieces of sashimi per order which is very little considering we came for the all you can eat experience and we love sashimi! Also was missing some orders but did not bother asking anymore since they had already brought out dessert. Price point is a bit high as well, for the food quality, and taste of their sushi. In my opinion, there are better spots if you're looking for all you can eat sushi.

    Japanese fried chicken (karaage)

Came here for the first time last week because I found a place that has sashimi for their $20/pp lunch AYCE menu. I'm a huge sushi lover so I had to try this place out. I came on a Friday right after they opened at 12pm-ish. The place was busy but roomy and bright. I haven't been to this place before, but from other reviews I knew it offers poke, bubble tea, etc. It's an interesting layout and I saw a lot of people get takeout, but eyes on the prize - I was here for sushi. They had a lot of unique dishes on their lunch AYCE menu - escargot, satay beef/chicken skewers, japanese fried chicken (karaage), sashimi, etc. Most of the dishes I tried were top quality - the skewers were seasoned well and grilled to crispy perfection, the sashimi fresh and full of flavour, and the escargot buttery and smooth. For rolls, I had the green dragon, lobster, and tempura shrimp - all of them were great and the rice to fill ratio was perfect. As for dishes I didn't like, I found the karaage a bit dry and their salad game (mango salad, seaweed salad) weak. I would have really liked just a normal green salad to wash my palate between dishes, but the options they had were hard to pick from. I also didn't see dessert on the menu, and didn't order any, but just some basic ice cream would have been a huge plus. As for service, they were a bit brusque but still professional, which is not uncommon with AYCE sushi places - I personally don't mind, but I did notice they took a bit long for some dishes to come out. Since it was our first time there, we ordered 3 rounds of food because we wanted to try small portions and see what we liked - for our 3rd round, the food took noticeably longer to arrive. Not sure if it's because they were understaffed because of Covid (2 servers for ~10 ppl/5 tables) or if it was intentional. Ordering was done through the server, but since we had a slightly larger table (4 ppl?), the server gave us some paper+pen so we could write it down ourselves. All in all, I think I've found a new favourite sushi place, right in time for when dine-in at restaurants has been halted again in Mississauga. The service is passable, the price excellent for the variety and quality of food. I highly recommend the satay skewers and escargot. I'm in love with the sashimi, so I know where I'll be once the Covid dine-in ban lifts again.

Salmon poke with a good assortment of fresh spring greens.

First off, pristine and bright surroundings. Bare walls which unfortunately increases the decibel level but they have carpeting. The service standards are a cut above. The waitstaff here are knowledgeable and prepared. We decided to go with the poke bowls. We both had salmon sashimi, mine with immaculately cleaned spring greens, hubby had his on zucchini "noodles". Overall experience was very positive except for more sodium than we are used to. Next time, we'll customize our own bowls, substitute here and there. Excellent menu, good place to take out of town guests for an impressive brunch.

    Rising Sun Sushi Burrito

My first time here and I rate them 4.5/5. I'll round up because I am feeling nice! PARKING/VENUE: Lots of parking spots and the front appears to fill up fast during lunch time (the time I went with my baby and sister in-law). When you enter the place is actually really big. Lots of room for a stroller. We went around 12:30 and it doesn't seem too busy on a Thursday. SERVICE: Our server was actually the owner of the place. He seated us at a spot with lots of room for a stroller. He was really kind and attentive. PRICE/FOOD: In my opinion the prices were pretty fair and decent for the amount you get. My sister in-law got the rising sun burrito, she said she always gets this one and it's really good. I got the salmon poke bowl. It's my first time having a poke bowl and I was amazed by the appearance of it and the taste! I got the yuzu sesame dressing, it was perfect with all the ingredients together. The salmon was pretty good too, only a few were a bit stringy, but everything else was good. I finished the entire bowl with a couple bites of rice and corn left. LYCHEE PEARLS: in the bubble tea/boba I thought they were similar to the black pearls, but no they are not. They're the popping kinds, not my liking. It popped and it was just too sweet. I was excited and thought it was going to be just like the lychee jelly, but in spheric shape. OVERALL: I'm only giving them a 0.5 star less because of some of the lychee pearls and the few salmon that was stringy (absolutely don't like stringy salmon sashimi). As a poke bowl first timer, I highly recommend this place. I now have to go to other places and order poke bowls to compare.

The restaurant is of decent size, with some dine-in seating (about five tables for four and two tables for two). Seating is similar to the tables and chairs you'd find in a mall food court but I appreciate that it was pretty spacious between tables and didn't feel crowded. My family and I went around 6:30 pm and we were the only table dining in but there were about 3-4 takeout/Uber pickups while we were there. Service was friendly. We immediately got offered menus and green tea, where they came multiple times during our stay to refill. We ordered: 60 pcs assorted sushi and roll platter ($49.99), Philadelphia roll ($4.99), and spicy salmon roll ($5.99). Overall, very affordable, especially with the grand opening promotion. My family and I were stuffed and in agreement that we could have done with just the 60 pcs platter amongst the four of us. The quality was good, not above and beyond, but the ratio of filling-to-rice was quite good and rice was made well (not too wet and not too dry, meaning all sushi and rolls held their shape when handled). Freshness was there as well. The Philadelphia roll was really well made in terms of the ratio of all their fillings; but I felt the spicy salmon was lacking some spicy mayo for that heat. I'd have to say my favorites were the unakyu (sushi version with unagi), the yam roll (crunchy and had a delicious sweet sauce), and the Philadelphia roll. They were also decently generous with ginger and wasabi. Oh, almost forgot to mention that they start you with miso soup which is included with the meal. It didn't taste the most authentic and could have been more flavorful but I appreciated that it came out piping hot and had a good amount of seaweed and mini tofu inside. Washrooms were spacious and of average cleanliness. No automatic taps or paper towel dispensers though. The restaurant itself was kept clean and tidy. Their wall art is also really cute and fitting for the place. Tons of free parking in the plaza.

Big mistake. On Nov 25, 2025, I ordered the MC5 Maki Combo (24 pcs) -- California roll, dynamite roll, spicy salmon roll. What arrived was a disaster: tired-looking sushi, off flavors, and a wasabi that came out as a strange dark green slime. I forced down a few pieces; my wife couldn't eat hers at all. To make matters worse, I was burping an odd flavor for hours afterward. This wasn't just disappointing -- it was unacceptable. After years of giving this place chances, I'm done. Sushi should never feel like a gamble, and I won't be rolling the dice here again.

They use a good amount of topiko in the sushi, compares to some places that skimp or skip it all together. We ordered by phone and pick up was ready in under 30min.
