Coastal Crab Company - Oysters in garlic sauce- so delicious!

After a lovely day at the beach, we stopped here to grab some seafood. Anytime you're close to the…read morebeach, you're sure to find seafood, and this turned out to be a great stop! The restaurant is small but cozy, with convenient parking right out front. Inside, it has a casual seafood atmosphere with seafood pictures on the walls and wooden tables. There's also an outdoor seating area. The menu is straight to the point, and the prices are reasonable. We ordered a Sweet Tea and a Raspberry Sweet Tea. The raspberry was so good. It was refreshing and flavorful without being ridiculously sweet. We started with a dozen Oysters in Garlic Butter Sauce, and they were some of the best oysters we've had. The garlic butter sauce was just right and didn't overpower the oysters. Next came the Garlic Blue Crabs. I ordered the regular size, and they were perfect for me. They had plenty of meat and were seasoned to perfection. Next time though, I'll definitely try the larger crabs! We also tried the Crab Rice and Seafood Creole. The crab rice reminded me of a dirty rice, with real minced crab mixed throughout. I really enjoyed it. The Seafood Creole was served over the crab rice with a flavorful sauce, shrimp, and fish. It was well seasoned, plentiful, and delicious. Overall, we had a great experience. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, the portions were good, the prices were reasonable, and the service was great. I'll definitely be back!

They looked great and perfect presentation, but just didn't hit the spot. I'll give it a shot one more time as the other reviews are great, but like someone else said this isn't in the best part of town. Which is fine, I'm basing my review off food only. The snow crab, everyone was nice there, this place is small. I believe 2 or 3 inside tables, I'll update my review next time I'm around the area.

2nd time here, added both 1st time visit and 2nd time visit photos…read more To start, the lobster bique is unmatched. Its very light while still creamy, very lobster forward and you know it because its right on top. Both times we went with the seafood lovers and its as it says for seafood LOVERS. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Shrimp, crab, lobster, fresh and cooked to perfection. On the bottom, an immaculate garlic butter with a slight spice (of you ask for spicy) and on top is like an oreganata. This may be our choice every single time, I cant go without it! My son gets his chicken tenders amd fries. Dad tax is a must because the fries are crispy and well made. The chicken is made when you order it and seasoned well. My only regret is not living even closer to!

Seating was available inside and outside. We opted to sit inside but needed a jacket because it was pretty chilly. It must have been a popular spot to celebrate Valentines' day- to our disappointment they were out of some of the dishes we were interested in trying. We opted for the crab cake, which was good with very little filler. The Fisherman's Bounty Platter ($30) came with shrimp, fish bites, oysters, and sea scallops along with fries and coleslaw. Since they were out of oysters, they substituted with extra shrimp and the hush puppies were substituted for extra coleslaw instead. The portion size was good for the price. The fish bites were a combo of snapper and grouper. I didn't know which one I had, but I preferred one over the other. I did think the seafood could have used more seasoning. We really liked the coleslaw. The food was okay, it satisfied my hunger.

Dont judge a book by its cover, that is my motto for this place for sure! Super friendly service from the time you walk in. You can choose to sit inside where it is delicately decorated with white linen and wine glasses. Or sit outside and have a view of the river at any seat you sit at. There's a bar located outside with music and you can choose to sit there or a little away from the bar to have a more private space. I really liked this place a lot!

Here are my thoughts Parking: it's complementary valet parking Service: 7/10 we made reservations because we didn't know what to expect but there was no wait time. Everyone was super friendly! Ambience/Crowd: it's a mixed group but its family friendly actually perfect for a big group Food/drink : 5/10 we had the SW egg rolls, calamari, and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers, for entrees we had scallops with risotto, fried shrimp, and Cajun pasta. The mushrooms are AMAZING! My mom loved the shrimp and I loved the scallops just wish they weren't on a bed of risotto. I misread the menu. We didn't like the egg rolls or calamari. Favorite thing: stuffed mushrooms and live music! Least favorite thing: risotto Overall enjoyed our experience.

We went to Maine and paid more than that. But I digress, the lobster was fresh and well seasoned. The hot roll was perfectly buttered. The cold was good, but standard. Still good. Their clam chowder was so so good. It popped and it was full of clams. Creamy and smooth. I did wanna mention the service. It appears they do the team approach. None of that, I will get your server stuff. No, this team was all in. Who ever was walking by was on top of everything. Our server was great, and we also had three others jump in when we needed water or had an inquiry. Great team effort. Everybody wins. All in all, good local place for lobster and other seafood. Enjoy. Oh they have a market inside the restaurant. We picked up some fresh tuna for $14.99!lb. That's a good deal.

We were starving, so we stayed. Starving yes. $100/pp, not that starving. But in these surprise dollar situations, we are good for a high end appetizer only dinner. So some table bread and butter, and three apps, and we are stuffed. First off, Chloe was so awesome. Professional, engaging, perky and fun, and a really great server. The place is beautiful and clean. And there was a wedding there in a separate area. Looked beautiful. So for "venue" points, Yellow Dog for the win. No let's talk food. Friggin awesome. I damn near flew out of my chair with Tuna Nachos. Not only a great dish, one of the most flavorful ones I have had in a while. Next up was the escargot. Fresh, garlic, yum, garlic, butter, garlic, placed on a puff pastry. So excellent. Did I mention it had garlic? Then the baked Brie. This was good. We wanted more sauce to dip the shell and cheese in. Served with rosemary flat bread sticks, so good. We are so going back for the Fall Foodie thingy and most definitely for special occasions. This is the place. Bring money, you're gonna need it, but totally worth it. If the actually main dishes are reflective in their appetizers, then this is indeed a total win.

We traveled to the beach from Orlando for a girls' weekend and were excited to eat waterfront, so we decided to give Seafood Atlantic a try. The highlight of our evening? We saw dolphins in the water. So, two stars for the location and a couple of decent menu options, but the service needs a serious overhaul -- or at least that was our experience with the particular server assigned to us. From the time we were seated around 7:30 p.m., our waitress had an attitude. We were perfectly pleasant and explained that we had a couple of questions about the menu. After answering maybe two questions from one member of our party, she rather harshly informed us that she was there to start us with drinks "for the time being." We were taken aback but went ahead and ordered drinks. Despite there only being three of us, she still managed to forget one of the drinks. We also ordered Jell-O shots -- one for each of us -- and had no idea they came in different flavors. She neither told us nor asked for a preference; she simply left a variety on the table for us to coin-flip over. After the drinks arrived, she disappeared for at least 10-15 minutes before returning to take our food order. By then, it was around 7:45 p.m. She informed us that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and that our appetizers and entrées would all have to come out together. Given how little we had seen of her up to that point, we were understandably frustrated. We felt rushed and like we weren't being given an opportunity to actually sit and relax, but we agreed. Once the food arrived, one order contained an ingredient we had specifically asked to be left off, and the knives we requested never arrived. But the worst part came when one of my friends discreetly approached our server to pay the check. She wanted to surprise the group by treating everyone and was trying to do so without any fuss. Instead, our server gave her a hard time, saying, "I have another table and am busy right now." Apparently, the hostess had already run my friend's card and given the receipt to our waitress. Our server then came over, slammed the receipt down on the table, and said, "Here! She took care of that for you." It was unbelievable. The abrasiveness and utter lack of customer service were truly the most memorable parts of the evening. And for all that aggression, the food was barely worth it. Were some menu options decent? Yes. Was anything wonderful enough to make us overlook the poor service? Not even close. The fresh catch was nice, the sides were fine, and we all agreed the Gouda mac and cheese was yummy. Otherwise, nothing really stood out. In a very rare move for me, I actually asked to speak with a manager. They did remove the cost of an appetizer and a drink, but the bill was still upwards of $100, and by that point, it really felt like a rip-off. The view alone isn't enough to bring me back. I'll stick with Fishlips next door, which I would recommend as an alternative.
