After a lovely day at the beach, we stopped here to grab some seafood. Anytime you're close to the beach, you're sure to find seafood, and this turned out to be a great stop! The restaurant is small but cozy, with convenient parking right out front. Inside, it has a casual seafood atmosphere with seafood pictures on the walls and wooden tables. There's also an outdoor seating area. The menu is straight to the point, and the prices are reasonable. We ordered a Sweet Tea and a Raspberry Sweet Tea. The raspberry was so good. It was refreshing and flavorful without being ridiculously sweet. We started with a dozen Oysters in Garlic Butter Sauce, and they were some of the best oysters we've had. The garlic butter sauce was just right and didn't overpower the oysters. Next came the Garlic Blue Crabs. I ordered the regular size, and they were perfect for me. They had plenty of meat and were seasoned to perfection. Next time though, I'll definitely try the larger crabs! We also tried the Crab Rice and Seafood Creole. The crab rice reminded me of a dirty rice, with real minced crab mixed throughout. I really enjoyed it. The Seafood Creole was served over the crab rice with a flavorful sauce, shrimp, and fish. It was well seasoned, plentiful, and delicious. Overall, we had a great experience. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, the portions were good, the prices were reasonable, and the service was great. I'll start off by saying this, I don't like when owners get defensive about reviews. Listen to what people are saying. I went here with my wife 1.5 years ago, the crabs weren't the best. They looked great and perfect presentation, but just didn't hit the spot. I'll give it a shot one more time as the other reviews are great, but like someone else said this isn't in the best part of town. Which is fine, I'm basing my review off food only. I think this place is just good enough to not complain; it's kinda overrated. Staff were nice to be honest, maybe it's a reason why lots of review were 5 stars. Crawfish was not so fresh, the shells were soft which means they're frozen (they didn't mention about it on the menu). Which is also make sense that the crawfish is only make it to the add-on list. Don't miss it as we literally almost did. On a small street off rt 1. Small spot with inside seating, very friendly people and delicious food. I found this place on yelp and we decided to try it for lunch. So you order at the counter, sit down and they come out and bring your food and drinks. There is a whiteboard of crab and shrimp prices as this is a seafood market as well. I had the shrimp and grits that was so tasty, the sauce was just perfect on top. I couldn't finish it but it was great the next day! My husband had the gumbo and enjoyed it to the last drop. Highly recommend this hidden gem of a spot for homemade seafood dishes. Late Dec 2025; good experience here on a Christmas week. Food quite good, I'd say a little high priced-side considering amount of food on plate. Crab cake, ONE, was good but really should've received two cakes. Other items we got were...good. Time to get food was pretty long wait, not gonna lie. Just 3 person order. But friendly enough staff. Maybe they were a bit understaffed (like 4 workers instead of 5?). Zero ambiance inside basically, no biggie but certainly not receiving any for the pricing. I guess we would go here again...but our better restaurant in the Melbourne Beach area was Ichabod's by a good amount. Be careful when buy the lump crabmeat. advertised as $48 pound, but there is only 12oz of crabmeat in the containers. When I called the owner to complain, he said the crab meat is hand picked, and they just fill the containers, but do not pack the crab meat in tight. so Basically you are paying $64 a pound. read more

Seat yourself in the small dining area. Brea brings out the carcass bowl, seafood utensil and forks. Napkins are the paper towels on the table. Out comes your food piping hot and full of butter and garlic yumminess. I had the Costal Beach shrimp with potatoes, corn cob, and sausage. Hubby and son each had the snow crab with potatoes, corn cobs and sausage. All was delicious! Love the garlic butter "sauce" in these dishes. You just want to keep eating and eating.
