The Panang curry with tofu was good but was more tofu than vegetable. Not particularly noteworthy. One detail I'll note is that they allow for selecting a spiciness level for basically every dish, on a scale from zero to five. We went with a four, which is pretty standard for us. Turns out, that's very spicy at Took Took. That's what we ordered, but it's worth keeping in mind. Overall, this is a good destination. The food is nicely prepared. It's a good overall experience. It's just not at the top of my list for Thai food in Pittsburgh.

The bowl also comes with cilantro/lime sauce, which I do not get because it's very salty. That's my one complaint about Roots - despite their healthy ingredients, their bowls can get quite saucy and salty if you go with the default options. This particular location is well-staffed, so service is usually quick, but it can get a rush of students around 12pm.
