Fun date night location! Really helpful and nice staff. You use the QR code to order food and drinks and you keep the check open on your own phone. All orders and brought to your table and then you pay the tab on your own. Lots of food choices!

The charred burger was juicy and the charred taste really made it.

We came for trivia and I decided to try another concept while we were there. The burgers that went by looked really good. I had to have one. I'm glad that I did. The burger was really big and juicy. The charred taste really made it. I liked the fries too. Wouldn't mind trying some other menu items another time.

Finally got around to trying Fat Butcher after having it saved on my Google Maps for a while with…read morethe note "good sandwiches." Glad I did! I ordered the smashburger, which was delicious with a high-quality patty. It was so good that I came back the very next day with my husband to get it again! He opted for the cheesesteak. Both visits were for takeout, though there is a small counter along the window with a few stools if you want to dine in. Definitely would return, as this was the best burger I've had in a while!

It's a proper neighborhood butcher shop on Butler Street, the kind of place that had mostly disappeared around here. They do whole animal butchery with meat sourced from local Pennsylvania farms, and you can feel how much the folks working there care about what they're doing. It's not a huge space, just a display case full of cuts, a wall of house made goods, and a small sandwich menu, but that's part of the charm. The staff were friendly and happy to point me in the right direction. The sandwiches are what really got me though. The smash burger is fantastic, a double patty on a challah bun with that special sauce, and you can actually taste the quality of the beef, which makes sense given the whole operation is built around good meat. I also grabbed some of their house made pastrami, and it did not disappoint, tender and full of flavor. Knowing everything is made in house, right down to the bacon and sausages, makes it even better. If you live nearby and don't have a butcher yet, this is the one.

Hey friends! I wanted something with a Pittsburgh stamp on it before I headed home. A Yelp search…read moreled me here to this eclectic spot with delicious food. Pittsburgh Sandwich Society runs a kitchen out of Strange Roots Experiential Ale which is a small locally-owned distillery. Once you enter, you'll scan a QR code to order online. Don't waste time like me waiting for a server lol. I ordered the In-An-Aht burger which features spring mix, their society sauce, American cheese and tomato. The burger was SO GOOD. All the ingredients had the perfect portions and came together beautifully. It was a perfect medium-well cook. The fries are hand cut and delicious. My only distaste was that fries were veryyyyy salty. +Customer service was amazing! +Limited Free Parking out front and in a nearby alley. +Plenty of tables for dine-in +Free boardgames to play +Beautiful patio with plenty seating I'm excited to return for the patio in the summer when I return to PA. I hope you enjoy!

They don't open until 4, but you can place orders online hours before then. Picked up food around 4:20. By time we got home, the fish maintained its crispness. I was actually quite impressed with how well it was prepared. Nice and flaky but didn't fall apart. The bun it comes on is well proportion with the fish. The only thing I could've went without, was the macaroni salad topped on the fish. However, the food here never disappoints. I'll be back.
