We're glad Reddit brought us here before they officially close doors at this location on Mar 14 -…read moreit does seem like they're still looking for a new location so this might not be the end! We were looking for a nice place to eat after skiing in Killington (~30 mins away) and managed to get a spot at the bar the day of. I highly recommend calling in advance since they have a lot of regulars that I'm sure will be coming here for the last couple of weeks they stay open. You can order food as a 3 course prix fixe that includes an appetizer, house salad and an entree or you can do à la carte but they do not write the individual prices on the menu (so just be aware if cost is a factor). Food is definitely on the pricier side but food was good. We especially enjoyed our entrees -1) Carté d'Agneau Royale ($10 extra): grilled lamb wrapped with mushroom duxelles and spinach in puff pastry and 2) Duck Breast with a Blackberry Basil Hayden demi glace. I'm not a salad nor a bleu cheese person, but their house salad was surprisingly good! While we were dining, we noticed the bartender, owner, waitresses, all knew their customers by name, asked about their families, and had amazing customer service. You could really tell that they really do care about the people.

Was my favorite restaurant anywhere. They were amazing, and treated customers like close family…read more I am so damn sad at their closing, and hope that they open again in another location. Their building was bought by the owners of Au Comptoir, who terminated their lease and evicted them. Unbelievable. They created so many great memories for so many.

It was much more money. I figured I'd get a better rate because my husband was a disabled. I went to the actual website for the hotel itself in Springfield and the people that answer the phone and I don't remember her name right now, but she was amazing so helpful. Help me get straightened out help me to rebook the reservation, but then now is fast forward to yesterday. I came into the hotel. I was greeted very nicely by this beautiful smell in the hallway Like a pine tree Christmas tree good thing which I didn't know was an air freshener I thought at first was the Christmas tree in the hallway.. The girl at the front desk, Emily she was just filling in for her mother, which I didn't know that at first, but she was very professional very outgoing greet you. Good evening welcome when you come in the door explain who I was what I needed she ends up being able to give me a room like two doors from the actual entrance at the back at the handicap entrance. So my John didn't have to walk too far since you don't been sitting for almost 3 hours in the car to get here. It was tough so then we got the wrong. I got settled came down and asked her several questions she had no problem the girl that was doing the cleanup she her name was Donna. She was working and it was her birthday like hello don't even take your birthday off wow I then talk with her for a bit to explain some things about the hotel. Everything is fresh clean bright it's beautiful. I'm sure it looks just as good when it's not decorated for Christmas as it does today it's all decorated people, Christmas, decorations and trees and bows and this fake present under the tree. Everything was just amazing so far so now I'm having breakfast and I got to sleep late for the first time, I can't say how long but breakfast has it starts off with a waffle station then it has four different kinds of fresh juice then it has a cooler that has chocolate milk in it. It has fresh yogurt, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, regular sticks of cheese then they have cold cereal. They have hot cereal. They have fresh yogurt that you can make buffets with they have things and stuff they have three kinds of fresh fruit. They have a bread station that has bagels and English muffins and toast in it with peanut butter and jelly butter Have a microwave for heating. Then their hot station has bacon and sausage, and it also has cheese omelettes and scrambled eggs this morning if two kinds of fresh coffee, hot water for coconut tea. I mean, if you can't find something for breakfast here to eat then you have a problem I had a fresh buttermilk waffle with bacon. Everything looks delicious. Looks amazing fresh I mean this has been absolutely my number one experience in hotel and the best Western of all the times I've stayed I really enjoyed this one if they were all cookie cutter, I would be doing great. I think at one time we did stay at one of the one in Pennsylvania, and that was fantastic as well, but it's nice. You can go more than one and more than one state and it's just the same. I will definitely be back here again up here for a friendly family party tonight, but we're staying till tomorrow so we can have a real short brief vacation and get some sleep without eating anyways and being bothered and stuff. it's also literally a stone stove from the highway exit you cannot go wrong by coming off and using this as a rest stop is definitely something you should come to check out is not till 12 so I mean you have no excuse not to lay in bed. Take your time get some breakfast go back and relax and everything is just top-notch here. Also forgot to put up top all the employees address so professional in the beautiful royal blue best western shirts, nice pair of black pants and sneakers also into a swimming pool, which I'm sure we won't get time to use this time as we're getting super late last night and my husband was very tired and pain and today we have the party, but I will definitely come back and try the pool next time

I loved my brisket sandwich and the two aps my table split - the sun dried tomato flatbread and the kale salad. Everything was fresh tasting and prepared beautifully! Highly recommend :) Side note: I encountered a similar experience as a previous reviewer (actually stayed in the same room it looks like), so I would confirm with the Inn that you want a room in the mansion if you're looking for that quaint BnB experience and not a more bare bones accommodation. Also, the chocolate croissants at breakfast are exceptional.

I usually stay at Best Western, but their stay 4 nights but pay for 3 attracted me to try again HH is NOT a B&B. It is a mansion with nice rooms connected to a motel. They have a nice bar, but only open it when large group books motel. They have a commercial kitchen and dining room, but don't use them. I was at an event, and food came from outside caterer (pretty poor buffet, but that wasn't HH's problem). The motel rooms are clean but spartan, no coffee maker, just a small TV and a bed. One light didn't even have a lampshade on it. In the old days the restaurant was one of the best in town, but that was a long time ago. HH's idea of breakfast is a few piles of pre-packaged scones and muffins that were there all day, every day. And a Kuerig to make your own coffee/tea. For service, there is someone at the desk from 9AMish to 4:30PM. Nobody there overnight. If you arrive after 4:30PM (checkin begins at 3PM), your key will be in an envelope taped to the OUTSIDE of the front door. And you're given a 4 digit code to open the front door. If, god forbid, there's a fire at night, firemen would have no clue which rooms are occupied since no employee would be present to tell them. If as a customer you need some help after 4:30PM, you are just f&%ked. This used to be a pretty nice place, but time and decay have not been kind. As it is with the rest of Springfield. I don't consider it a business, its more like a hobby. Even with the reasonable price for extended stays, I won't be back. And that's just sad, it could be so much more.

The exterior of the place is a dump and the huge paved parking area is in need of maintenance. Yes, we read the reviews but most were very old and we thought it was worth a try for the price. The price is too high for what you get with, as some of the other reviews indicated some "resident" appearing folks. Yes, they need housing but not at a "Choice" branded place. We checked the room out before committing, and though "old" seemed to be fine: looked clean, tub and grouting okay, toilet and sink clean with okay flooring. But after only 10 minutes inside, my granddaughter's eyes began to water, got puffy and swollen, and then my wife started feeling like something was wrong. Probably dust, or pollen, or mildew in the bedding, or whatever, but that was it. We left. It could have been fine, but we're just not accustomed to that level of poor presentation at that price.

To start, our room was immaculate; upon entering our room, we were greeted with homemade shortbread cookies and flower petals on our bed to commemorate our fifth anniversary. Our room was perfectly clean and the bed was beyond comfortable. There were just so many little things that the inn had thought of- from Diptique toiletries to the most comfortable bathrobes laid out for us. After arriving, we spent the day meandering around the quaint town of Weston. Once the evening arrived, we arrived at the amazing Left Bank. The front desk helped us organize our reservation. One of the most enjoyable parts of our evening was finding out that the restaurant has their own sommelier to help us find the right wine! We had a cheese platter to start, steak frites, as well as ice cream and chocolate mousse for dessert. It was all divine! Once the evening winded down, the inn had everything to make us have a nice, relaxing, evening. We sat by the fire outside for some time and enjoyed the tranquility of the Weston. The next day, we were greeted with homemade blueberry muffins and coffee. We also stoped by their bakery, where they had a plethora of delicious breakfast and lunch options, such as farro salad and homemade rotisserie chicken. We are so sad to leave the Weston and will definitely be back soon. The highlight of our stay was: the amazing staff, impeccable attention to detail, delicious food, and the quaint town of Weston.
