Ya Habibi Spice and Spice was fabulous! My friends and I stopped in after a Yelp event to grab a bite to eat. The service was awesome and the food was spectacular! I started off by ordering a karaak tea! Unique and delicious! I also ordered a fountain Pepsi because I was so excited they had Pepsi lol! For my dinner I ordered the Ya Habibi Musakhan calzone! The calzone was stuffed with marinated chicken and caramelized onions that was so delicious! The chicken was tender and melted in my mouth. I also tried a slice of my friends cheese pizza which what seasoned with Middle Eastern spices. Yes please! The restaurant was clean and had some cool decorations. If you are looking for a yummy twist on pizza I suggest you stop in! They also had a dinner buffet which looked fabulous! But we came in too late for me to eat from a buffet. But I definitely want to go back and try it again soon!

Whoa this was a surprise delicious find! We popped in one night just thinking we would get a pizza, thankfully it was a few of us and we all got things to share. Everything i tried was so good! Fresh, savory, unique, just wow good food! The tabouli was so good, bright and tangy and addictive, the cheese and zatar manaeesh was amazing! Great crust and flavor, add a Lil of the tabouli Salah on top and you have a perfect bite! Their pizza a cut above! They also had a beautiful buffet that were gonna have to come back to try!

Just when you think you have tried pizza, you go to Ya Habibi Slice and get a whole new take on pizza. First let me tell the food was fabulous, The food is a fusion of Middle Eastern and Italian, with Calzones, pizza, flatbreads and even burgers. The dining room is clean and the service is more like you are dining with family than eating at a restaurant. Regardless, you want to hear about the food: Pickles - complimentary pickles were brought to our table.and while good as a snack, I enjoyed them on the cheeseburger. Cheeseburger - great patty with a hint of middle eastern spices. Great if you have a picker eater in your group, Cheese and Zatar - this flatbread to me was a STAR. The crust, the spices, the cheese all went together so well. Shawarma Pizza - another surprise, and while I favored the flatbread, my dinner companions liked the pizza. It had this flavorful sauce that was delicious. There are a ton of items I will be coming back to try, but this was a real surprise find. Run don't walk to this spot, it is just that good.

Treated myself to an amazingly delicious lunch at the new Ya Habibi Slice and Spice which is adjacent to Ya Habibi Sweets On this first visit I ordered the lentil soup and falafel for starters. For the main course was the meat manousheh pizza! The freshness of the ingredients and the homemade flavors left me wanting more! The management, staff and owners were very welcoming and friendly. True professionals that know how to treat their customers great. The owners, Melvinna and Kamal were present and helped me choose the aforementioned dishes. I enjoyed having conversations with them over their business and the love they put into their food. I'm already looking forward to visiting again soon for some more delicious food..."Lazeez" (لَذِيذ) Deliciosostyle Approved!

This was a post event dinner, a bunch of us Yelp Elites grabbed a bite and wowza, we were all impressed. I arrived first and when I entered I saw catering dishes on s table and thought maybe they were having a private event- the manager quickly told me they offer a dinner buffet!!! Ohhhh, yum!!! Outside, the windows have HUGE photos of the popular dishes and there was one of a kinda pizza- I want sure at the time what exactly it was, but I knew that was what I wanted. I ordered hot tea- it was a Moroccan mint tea, marvelous! I ordered the cheese Mannousheh & my goodness. Sam ordered the same and we were both very happy!!! Michelle ordered the Musakhan chicken Calzone & I tried the smallest bite (it was so huge)- highly recommend. Every one of us loved our food! I can't wait to return for more, maybe try the buffet!!! If my notes are correct, Vinna was our server and she was wonderful!

The staff was so so kind and welcoming! We hit this place before heading next door for dessert :) I didn't even try their pizza... because I spotted zaatar and cheese manousheh and immediately locked in on that! We also got the labneh manousheh and this INCREDIBLE musakhan calzone! The interior was so so cute. My friends and I talked about the decor and how well placed it was. I joked that it had the kind of symmetry I aim for when designing a room in the 'Sims' games! 10/10 will come back again! I'm just not realizing I have no pictures of the food... namely because we ate it so quick If you were ever a fan of Bon Appetite's YouTube channel (before it got bad), you should know that we gushed about how much Brad Leone would love this place. And pro tip- don't like olives? That'll change after the labneh manousheh!

Yum yum!

Wow. I felt like Anthony Bourdain walking into some "unassuming local shop". The interior was so cute and immaculate. Lots of places for pictures and comfortable seating. Lots of lighting for posts and a fun "PIZZA" sign written across the wall. But the best part was the food of course. The chefs make this dough in a wood fire oven and there's American style or middle eastern. The part where it gets super crazy though is they make a hot sauce in house that's to DIE FOR. It was like when ratatouille eats the strawberry and the cheese together and the animation has little zips and zings around him. It had fresh roasted garlic and spicy green chilis. It made the pizza so elevated. I did a half and half one side cucumber and the other cheese. I didn't expect to even like the cucumber side but. Anthony would have appreciated it. The chef even took time to explain what was in the sauce its self and offer it or I'd not have known. They were very welcoming and fast! This is the same speed as take out somehow. I'm not sure if the dessert is next door or if it's the same place? It seemed to have 2 entrances and be connected to a sweets store under the same name which. My GOSH. it's my new favorite sweet spot. I'm not sure if I should go off in this review about it or wait to find the store next door and review it but I have to add it here too! If you get a pizza WALK next door and get sweets. They're. They need paragraphs about them. The employees were so kind and let us try an ice cream flavor and I left with 5 sweets 3 cookies and some jello (however today the next day it is officially all gone ‍! So I'd say 10/10 experience. Must try. Really.

It's always a plus when the service matches the quality of the food, and he definitely made the experience even better. The brisket sandwich was excellent, full of flavor with that perfect smoky taste and really tender meat. You can tell it's done right. The pulled pork sandwich was just as impressive, juicy and packed with flavor in every bite. Both sandwiches were filling and hit the spot. The mac and cheese was great as well, creamy and rich and paired perfectly with the BBQ. It's one of those sides you don't think much about at first but end up finishing completely. Overall this place delivers on both food and service. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in Jacksonville and want some legit BBQ.

I knew yesterday as soon as I saw the advertisement for the new specials I had to get Layla's Chicken Cutlet Sandwich. My daughter couldn't decide on a calzone or the Mac Attack Pizza and after some deliberation, she landed on the Mac Attack Pizza. We got there just after opening and they already had a few customers in the door, but we didn't have to wait long at all. Our food was ready within 15 minutes and brought out. The chicken cutlet sandwich was everything I had hoped it would be. Tangy, savory, and the cutlets were the perfect thickness. Full of great flavor and fresh mozzarella made this the perfect lunch today. The bread wasn't too soft, nor was it too hard. Baked PERFECT. I would eat this every single day if could. Amara loved her pizza and is excited to have some left over for later when she's playing her video games. I like mac n cheese, but generally I'm not a mac and cheese on pizza kind of gal, so I did not try any as of yet. Maybe she'll let me have a slice later? This is one of those places that we love but haven't been to in far too long. We both tried things that were new to each of us tonight as well, which was cool. I ordered The Ole Smokie, with everything on it and choose cheddar cheese. My first thought when it was brought to the table was "oh, I'll probably have to go at this with a fork & knife" but I decided to give it a shot as intended. I'm glad I did because the bread held up surprisingly well! As far as ingredients go, the brisket was good and smokey. There was a good mix of everything else and more than enough cheddar. My wife ordered the Chicken Cheesesteak. She also had a choice of cheese and she picked whizz. The thing that separates this from what people might expect is that it's chunks of chicken, not shredded chicken. She said that's not a bad thing at all, just a change from what some might exoect. She thought it was a welcome change. She liked their cheese whizz a lot and liked the roll as always, so she was glad she tried it. It's worth noting that both sandwiches were big enough that we both took half of each home. I didn't get the name of the two people that were working there this evening, but I'd still like to give then a shout out. They were both incredibly patient with the customers ahead of us and they didn't make us feel rushed even though we were there fairly close to the time they close on Friday evenings. Ordered at the front counter and was greeted by a friendly young lady... good start. I went in planning to get the muffaleta off the specials board. They checked on it, but no luck... they were out of the cuts needed. I was pointed toward the Italian, but my buddy already grabbed that and I felt like being different. Noticed another special on the wall, a smoked brisket sandwich. Can't remember the exact name, but that's what I went with. Instead of chips or their homemade tots, I grabbed the balsamic roasted brussel sprouts as an appetizer. Tables weren't the cleanest and were a little wobbly, but nothing deal-breaking... we made it work. Food came out pretty quick and looked solid. Flavor-wise... a little mixed. The brussel sprouts were very flaky and leafy, almost crumbled apart. You really had to work your fork to get a bite. I was picturing larger roasted halves. Sauce was fine, nothing bad, nothing special. I'd give those a 3 out of 5. The brisket sandwich was interesting. The meat was very fatty and kind of tough to chew through. Not sure if that's just the cut or the prep. I ate about three-quarters of it. It wasn't bad, just didn't hit the way I hoped. Probably still thinking about that muffaleta. Another 3 out of 5. I'd come back, no doubt... but next time I'm sticking with what they're known for. Those cheesesteaks always look great, and that's probably the move. Today was about trying something different, and I'm glad I did... even if it didn't knock my socks off.
