The ice cream looked good, I only sampled the cheesecake ice cream which was good. I settled for a coconut ice pop. - not the best, it was more milk based than coconut. I highly suggest to pre taste before you pick the flavor. I didn't and big mistake, I only pre tried the coconut and it was ok but not that great either. So without trying then went for pistachio. It was served on a paper which was messy. I didn't finish it and left. The portion was very large and the best deal you get is on taco Tuesday $5 for a large portion. Not sure they still do it as the place has new owners. I went back a second time and then the ice cream was insanely sweet, the other extreme. Never been back since.

We came in on a Tuesday for ice cream Taco Tuesday and had a great time getting a scoop on a taco shaped waffle "cone". Looking forward to coming back. The girl behind the counter was friendly and helped us with our choices. We will be coming back soon!

It wasn't particularly fresh (or maybe the storage somehow wasn't sealed all the way) and it was blended with cinnamon. Now, I like cinnamon but that's not going to match every flavor. And some people may dislike cinnamon. I had no idea it had cinnamon until the end. The ratio was much stronger of ice cream to cone by the end and honestly all I tasted was cinnamon. Location is ok, but you may not realize there's parking in the back if you've never been there. It is at a light so crossing and turning into the place is easy. Atmosphere and ice cream itself were stupendous. I recommend getting the cone with vanilla or just getting the scoops. Unless you love cinnamon and there you go. Their competitor downtown is better in some ways, BUT Bright Ice has better flavors and more traditional type of flavors. This is an important distinction which makes it stand out on its own.
