Chalking it up to "summer = bugs" I didn't think much of it until a couple of weeks ago, when I noticed them flying in and out of a crevice between my patio and alongside the outside wall near that entryway. I hate bugs. Nothing personal, I get that they serve all kinds of important functions but I get grossed out. Bad. Flying bugs are the worst for me. Fluttering wings of who knows what (attached to something I'm going to always assume has the ability to sting/bite/slime/infect me) making their way towards me doesn't make my personal list of "Top 10 Ways To Spend Free Time" but to each their own. After checking out pricing on the larger national chain service providers for a one-time visit, I turned to Yelp and found Rob with Cloverleaf Pest Control. I'm always impressed with a quick turnaround time, and Rob came through multiple times on that front. My first call was answered quickly, and we had a conversation about what I needed and how he could help. After getting the estimate (which compared favorably to those bigger companies), and talking to Rob I felt confident about moving forward. It's worth noting that I called in the afternoon, and was able to set an appointment for the following day. When that Cloverleaf vehicle pulled up to my house for my appointment, Rob greeted me and made an inspection of the area. Rob verified for me that I was dealing with yellow jackets, and walked through their process to resolve the issue. Very quickly Rob was suited up, and making my problem disappear. It's been a day since my appointment, and I'm seeing zero yellow jackets! The process was simple and smooth from start to finish, and if the need arises again in the future I won't hesitate to call on Cloverleaf Pest Control again.

The cons: - said he would come back to spray foam an area within a few days of the initial work. He never returned. - I reached out after we started having mice problems again and never got a response. - we only were "mice free" for a couple months after he visited. It was also the dead of winter when our mice problems stopped. But all fall and immediately in the spring we continued to have mice enter the home that we had to catch and dispose of. Not sure why my experience was so different with this company than other reviews I read. Just know the quality of work, effort, as well as communication varies greatly.

It came back with "INTERNAL ERROR/500". I went back and retyped it all and tried again. Same error. If you hit the little red envelope in bottom right corner, it says to type your request ---a big white empty space pops up, but I could not get the keyboard to pop up so I could type. At this point, I went to my email to see if, despite that Internal Error/500, maybe I received an email. Nope. I waited for the office to open and talked to an agent. I told her i wanted to request service. She started to take my information. We soon realized my info WAS in the system... so despite the internal error/500, it did go through! She said an email went out to me at 7:07am. I see nothing. So without asking me, she began rattling off so many dollar figures of possible service plans --my head was spinning. Had she asked if I had a pen & paper, I would have been ready. I know it may sound silly, but after EVERY possible scenario of monthly billing, quarterly billing, and annual billing options she said "not including taxes". She must have said it 10 times. I'm like maybe just say at the end say all of these dollar amounts do not include tax rate of x.x%. The prices were the HIGHEST I have ever heard! The email that was sent at 7:07am did finally arrive at 9:24am. So that's my review. I'm sure they would have done a great job at those prices.

I asked if they would provide an additional free follow up service and they said no. So I stated I would dispute the charge with my CC and they relented. EVERY SINGLE appointment had an issue. The "technicians" never completed a full service of the property (all four levels), they just sprayed some chemicals around the outside and maybe spent a total of 6 minutes inside our 2+ story duplex in St. Paul. We've had to ask them for follow up service each time they've come out. My advice: do your own research and do it yourself. It's not hard or expensive. You can buy the spray, you can place the traps/poison, you can seal entry points. My point: it's not worth the terrible service they provide.
