Absolute and total scam!!!…read more A gentleman rang our doorbell and then vigorously knocked on our door. He was incredibly friendly and started with "Do you know Joe and Kristy next door?" I said yes. He said, "Well. they just signed a contract and we will be doing work on their home tomorrow". The longer we talked the more aggressive he became. I asked if he could give me his card and he said he didn't have one. So I said, I'll see you tomorrow when Spidexx does their work next door. He said something like, "OK, I'll leave without a contract." I then saw him walk across the street to one of my other neighbors. After he left, I went over and talked with that neighbor to see how it went. She said that the Spidexx representative told her that I had signed their contract!!!!!!!! An absolute total lie! Of course, it was no surprise when they didn't show up for my next door neighbor's "pest removal". So you can add another lie directly from the Spidexx company. So now I'm writing this review and If I could give them a negative 10 stars I would. The person representing Spidexx outright lied to me and my neighbor in hopes of scamming us into signing a contract for something we would never receive. So, if you see a guy standing outside your door wearing a Spidexx logo, tell him to leave and slam the door in his face. So, it certainly does not seem like my experience was a one-off. This seems to be par for the course, and a chronic problem for how Spidexx does business.

Since swarming wasps had become a significant issue, I wanted someone to effectively handle the situation. I ended up with a Rainbow trifecta. Pest control successfully resolved the problem last season. It took several visits (returns dealing with the same trouble are free) but eventually the wasps were completely eliminated. Unfortunately the wasps were back again this year, although in a different location. I called Rainbow and was scheduled for a treatment by one of their technicians. This time I hope to be proactive to prevent a recurrence next year. In any case, I found them to be prompt in their correspondence, effective in their services and reasonable in their prices. In our experience the customer service folks and technicians have been courteous and professional. The first couple of applications seemed to go well. They said that the inside of the garage would be treated but they never did. I even asked for them to make sure they treated it on future visits but to no avail. After four treatments they still have yet to set foot in my garage. Most of the bugs seemed to be taken care of by the treatments however not the spiders. In fact, our home now seems to be a beacon for spiders. We get new cobwebs and spider activity even shortly after treatments. Our house looks like it is ready for Halloween with the amount of spiderwebs on the exterior of the house. None of our neighbors homes, and we are in a tight subdivision, have any spiderwebs at all. We had a new, strange but start to show up inside the house. I called for them to come and re-treat for it. They did so, and in a timely manner. That being said, the service technician placed small glue traps about the house. The kind you use for mice. Why they did this for bugs I am not clear on. Recently we have had vegetation around our house dying after the most recent treatment. Not sure if it is related but odd coincidence. The customer service person said that is the first they have heard of something like that happening. I called to cancel our contract and did not have any issues. Again the customer service person on the phone was professional, polite and did ask why we were cancelling. If the spiders could have been taken care of like the rest of the bugs and they completed all of the service (garage) that was promised we would stay with them. Now looking for another pest control service.

Next, nice tech but starts telling me all the things they won't do, like no more bait stations in the pole barn where they are most needed. Bait stations consistently underfilled and running out before next service. Inconsistent spraying treatment depending on the tech who comes - some were good, some not so much. Substandard value for price paid. When I finally called to cancel, CSR immediately starts quoting the contract instead of helping me. Terminating as soon as I can.

If you hit the little red envelope in bottom right corner, it says to type your request ---a big white empty space pops up, but I could not get the keyboard to pop up so I could type. At this point, I went to my email to see if, despite that Internal Error/500, maybe I received an email. Nope. I waited for the office to open and talked to an agent. I told her i wanted to request service. She started to take my information. We soon realized my info WAS in the system... so despite the internal error/500, it did go through! She said an email went out to me at 7:07am. I see nothing. So without asking me, she began rattling off so many dollar figures of possible service plans --my head was spinning. Had she asked if I had a pen & paper, I would have been ready. I know it may sound silly, but after EVERY possible scenario of monthly billing, quarterly billing, and annual billing options she said "not including taxes". She must have said it 10 times. I'm like maybe just say at the end say all of these dollar amounts do not include tax rate of x.x%. The prices were the HIGHEST I have ever heard! The email that was sent at 7:07am did finally arrive at 9:24am. So that's my review. I'm sure they would have done a great job at those prices.
