Our family took a stroll downtown and my little boy decided to ride his bicycle. On our journey the…read moretraining wheel on his bike got a little loose and wobbly. My Husband tightened it with his fingers, but it needed just a final turn with a wrench. I brightened when I saw Bike Stuff as I was certain we could pop in and someone could easily just tighten that one screw on a training wheel. We walked in and my Husband politely asked and was sternly rebuffed. This person was extremely busy and we would have to make an appointment. SERIOUSLY? You cannot be kind and take 30 seconds to make a little boys day? I even had my wallet in hand prepared to tip $20. Both my Husband and myself have bikes we have been looking to have serviced. We didn't want to have to drive to Nevada City, and Bike Stuff is right around the corner from us. HARD PASS. The gruff attitude and the "too busy" to tighten a screw is not the type of business we look to support. A little kindness would have secured customers for life.

However, when he didn't respond, I investigated and found that the company's post-sales support is now awful, so I went elsewhere. I bought my brand new Velotric Discover M from my local shop and LOVE IT! Kyle would have had a customer for life if he had proper support. His loss.

And as you can see from the photos, they certainly didn't hold me back from winning! After having a couple pairs of deeper carbon rims, I have to say that these are the favorites. They're competitive when it comes to weight, but my favorite thing about them is that when you are standing/sprinting and putting down power they don't flex at all; not an ounce of disc brake rub from them flexing to be heard. Highly recommend! Beyond all this, these wheels were constructed with my riding demands and body type in mind. Not just some pair hanging in a shop, but custom made to enhance my riding everyday.
