Two men were sent to our house to do the job as the windshield is big and must be carefully placed under the protruding front of the RV cabin. They arrived well within their target time range and both were friendly and professional. It was quickly obvious that Wade had the skills of someone who has broad experience replacing tricky windshields. He carefully prepped the vehicle and they completed the install without any problems. The price of the work was lower than other shops but it is the skill and expertise of Wade that gives us great confidence in a job well done.

Three Rivers Auto Glass is a local chain business that repairs and replaces a few brands of…read morewindshields for vehicles. In the winter, my husband was driving his BMW SUV when a rock flew off the road, hit his windshield, and caused cracks. He called our auto-insurance agent, and our agent recommended Three Rivers Auto Glass for a replacement. The employees at Three Rivers Auto Glass kindly gave us an accurate estimate for replacing the windshield, and we were able to get an appointment soon. We appreciated that an employee mentioned a coupon, so our total out-of-pocket cost was only $100 after insurance and the coupon. My husband mentioned that our camera calibration took a longer-than-expected time because of the cold, snowy weather, but the new windshield looked good. Unfortunately, for months this new windshield was causing a warning light in our vehicle. I was told that the installation of the new windshield had cracked the camera bracket. My husband took the SUV to a BMW dealership, and BMW quoted us up to several thousand dollars to fix the windshield and camera, and we did not want to pay that. Our insurance agent contacted Three Rivers Auto Glass, and employees came to our house to replace the windshield again and to fix the cracked camera bracket. This second service was free. Days have passed, and we see no warning light.

Very bad experience at this shop…read more The wife of the owner asked me to sign a document relieving them from any liability concerning the installation of a new windshield in my car. I refused to sign the document at which time I was told I had to sign the document, that I had "no choice". I refused to sign the additional document that they had prepared. I simply wanted my cracked windshield replaced. The owner and his wife then jointly acted very unprofessionally by threatening me and repeating that I "had to" sign the document. I again refused and asked them if they were refusing to release my car. The $100 had been paid and the insurance company had covered the rest. I was asked to leave the property and never return. I would suggest that you join me and never, ever, patronize this business.

I am so glad I called AutoGlass Discounters next. I called them, they answered immediately, and then we made an appointment for a day later, fitting with my availability. They gave me a quote on the spot for my Honda Civic's rear quarter panel replacement and checked to see they had it in stock. They let me know they'd meet me at my house. The day of the appointment, they called me to say they could come earlier to my house if I wanted, which was great, though I kept the original time due to my availability. The repairperson Thomas was very prompt, very polite and professional. He easily found the meeting spot I asked him to meet me at. It was a very hot summer day, and we were in the dead of the sun, but Thomas made it go by easy by being so well-natured and making me laugh. He fixed the quarter panel and reassembled everything back together again and vacuumed out the broken glass from the back of my car. The service for my quarter window/rear vent replacement was $245.03. Well worth it. Thank you, Thomas!

I like to talk to people and the computer phone system is the only negative I have to say but everything else about Safelite was wonderful. Great overall service and price is good.
