Most horrible tint I've ever gotten on any of my cars. The tint done at the swap meet was 10 times better. I went back before a year and they just cut pieces of tint to replace the tint that was folding off. It was around 3:00pm on a friday and I show up to Xteme Audio in West Covina to get "all around tint" for my car. They said they were book for the rest of the day so they set me up with an appointment at 9:00am the following morning. The next morning around 8:45am I gave them a courtesy call saying I was in traffic and I might be a few minutes late. The guy who answered said no problem we'll be here. I arrived about 2 minutes before 9:00am so I was early. I walk up to give the guy my keys and he tells me the guy who is doing my tint has left for the day because he thought I wasn't going to show up on time....... Red flag already! I played it cool and they rescheduled me to drop of my car at 4:00pm in the evening. There goes my Friday, thanks Xtreme Audio. I came back at 4:00pm and dropped off my car. They said it was going to be ready at 6:00pm so I had my GF pick me up so I didn't have to wait there that long. 6:00pm rolls around and NO call, I waited a little longer and decided to call them around 6:30pm. The guy who answered the phone said to come in, that it was almost ready. I show up a little before 7:00pm and by now it was already dark outside. I walk up and the guy is blasting my stereo super loud with some Banda spanish music and had a "Tall-can" of Bud light sitting on my hood like he owns the car. That didn't bother me, what got me was that he was working on my car in the dark with a damn flashlight... Who does that? They shut down the garage for the night and worked on my car on the side. I still waited another 15 minutes after I arrived. I'm no professional at tinted windows but 3 hrs doesn't sound right to me. I finally roll of the lot a little after 7:30pm after they gave the instruction on not to wash my windows or roll them down for a few weeks. Ok Understandable. The next morning I went out to my car to look at the tint and 3 out of 5 window were great. The other 2 had a few air pockets on each window that were very noticeable and the rear passenger window had a bad cut on the edge. I went back and show them the 2 windows with the air pockets. Their response, "Don't worry thats normal it takes 3 months for your windows to get all the air pockets out". I should have never believed that one. A year later those air pockets are still there. This place is a little sketchy so be careful when taking your car there. I'm sure they would have done a better job if it was during the morning in sunlight like I had originally scheduled. They didn't want to give me my money back so I was forced to chose another amp that I realize now is sh*tty. TLDR: Missed deadline, Did not honor deal, Attempted to raise price without notification Ok. I have alot to say here. First off the $250 for $300 deal is NOT HONORED. PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!! Second, I went to them to have them repaint my bumper. I had a family memberwho had their entire car repainted by them and it came out really nice Initially I was quoted $450. As I started to leave (I had a quote of 350) from somewhere else and Sean (Sales guy) told me that he would do it for $350 as I was a "repeat customer." I say sure and leave the bumper with them. This was on March 31 2017. I was told it would take 3 days. I am not counting Sunday april 2nd. I tell them I need it by Thursday April 6th. I was told that would be NO PROBLEM. So I wait and call them on Wednesday just to see how its going because as they told me it would be 3 days. I was told "Its almost done should be good tomorrow." So Thursday I decide to go by in the afternoon to check in. As I get there Sean tells me that its not done yet. He is talking to another guy (Who apparently runs the paint shop that they sent it out to). The guy immediately gets on the phone. Then he comes to me and tells me "They need to take something off." Now the piece they needed to take off should have been the FIRST thing they did. Since they didnt it tells me they did not even START on it. They also didnt call me for verification. I tell him go ahead. He now tells me that it wont be ready until Monday April 10th. This blows their 3 day deadline massively as well as my April 6th deadline as the car was scheduled to be at an event and cost me money. So Monday the 10th rolls around and I call ~2:30PM asking about it. Sean tells me "I have been texting you. Out body shop charged us more because they had to do alot of work on it. Your new price is $450" (Please note this is what the original quote was before my "Repeat customer" discount. I say "That wasnt the agreement and I chose you because you were the lowest bidder. You should have notified me BEFORE raising the price. Thats not good business" He says "If u dont wanna pay the increase thats fine. We'll eat the additional" I head to the shop to pickup my bumper. When I get there ~ 3 PM Sean tells me "He's on his way. He's about 30 min out. He's coming from LA with it." Now I'm PISSED. I tell him thats not good business and reiterate about the price change , etc. So I wait for what actually turned into 75 minutes before driving off to go pickup something else. Sean calls me and tells me the guy is there so I go back for the bumper. Now the Only GOOD (Be Careful there is bad here as well). I pickup the bumper and it looks fantastic. (At first glance). And the bad. All the hardware is given to me in a bag. They didnt even BOTHER reassembling it. There are mesh grates that are ALL BENT out of shape, There are screws missing, There are tabs broken. (What did they "FIX" that they were charging extra for.) I take my bumper and hardware pay the original estimate and leave. When I get home and start further inspecting the bumper..... THE PAINT ISNT DRY..... Its soft to the touch. There are overspray lines. It's a total crapfest. Bottom line. NEVER again. I hope yelp doesnt remove this so EVERYONE KNOWS not to come here for paint. Sadly I really liked Sean. He was a cool guy. But their business practices, ethics, and procedures leave A TON to be desired. read more

After just leaving this shop I'm cruising on the 10 freeway listening to my brand new Kenwood radio and all the sudden my engine starts making this deep grumbling sound and BOOM!!! Out of nowhere this horsepower just kicks in. Now I don't believe in magic but....I don't know, it was like suddenly, I was driving a Ferrari. It was amazballs. It was as if my new stereo somehow unlocked the beast that had been sitting in my driveway unbeknownst to me. All I know is when i got home I could barely walk. This is NOT a professional place of business! STAY AWAY. They have good reviews on yelp, but if you look at the reviews on google you'll get a better view of what kind of business this is. I wish I had researched more about Xtreme Audio before I had come here, because not only was the work they did on the car very bad, their work resulted in damages on the car that exceed the price I paid for the work. I drive a 2013 Acura TSX. I came here to get my grille and fog lights blacked out, tint my windows, get HID headlights installed, tint my tail lights, and remove the Acura logo on the back of my trunk. The tail lights, fog lights, and grille all had orange peel on them, and there was black paint form the tint spray on my car. Tony said he was going to take off the bumper and tail lights when doing the work, but the paint on my bumper and car were clear indications that he lied. There were sand paper marks on my car from him sanding my tail lights. There were scratches on my car from where he removed the decals on my car. Bubbles on the window tint were a big issue to me, and I made this clear to Tony before he proceeded to work on the car. He said that he guaranteed no bubbles on the tint job, and he said he would redo the tint if there were any problems. Tony lied again. The tint job was awful; it is one of the worst tint jobs I have seen on a car. There are hundreds of bubbles on the tint. When I raised the issue to Tony, he said that there were automatically going to be bubbles because he has an outside shop and he can't control the conditions while tinting. Furthermore, there were ten MASSIVE scratches on the windows from the paint job! The scratches were very deep. When I raised the issue to tony, he completely blew off the issue and said that his shop could not have been responsible for the damages. However, the car had less than ten thousand miles on it when I took it here, so it is not possible that these scratches could have been from normal wear and tear, and these scratches are so deep that they had to be caused by heavy duty tools. He then attempted to fix the damage by putting cheap plastic filler on it and remove excess with a box cutter, but this resulted in further scratches on the windows! The were also issues with the fog lights. As mentioned earlier, there was paint on my car from him tinting the metal that surrounds the fog lights. I told Tony specifically that I wanted the same color fog lights as the headlights. However, the fog lights that tony out on the car are much bluer than the headlights on the car. Furthermore, the HID bulbs were not installed properly on the car, and the plastic housing for the fog light bulb broke due to overheating. If these cost for these damages are added together, these damages easily exceed a thousand dollars. There are scratches on every single window on my car, and in order to restore the original condition of the car, all four windows would have to be replaced. The fog light housing needs to be replaced due to improper installment of the HID bulbs. The scratches on the trunk need to be repainted since buffing the area did not remove the scratches. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the trouble, time, and money and do not go to Xtreme Audio. They will act friendly with you before the transaction, but once they realize they damaged your car, they will do everything to lie and put the blame on the customer. This is not a professional place of business, and there are many reputable shops in LA County where you won't have to worry about damages to your car. read more

I bought a 2015 Toyota Camry and wanted HID upgrade for headlights and high beams along with the switchback turn signal lights. They gave me a great price and customer service was first class. After installing the high beam/driving light kit the driving lights didn't work. After researching and finding out my car needed an extra part that was 30.00 extra. I've had the worst experience here. They have the worst customer service. All I want if for them to fix my tint and get me the HID's I put a deposit on. Every time I go they seem to run out. Are the workers being too lazy to work? If anything give me a partial of my money back so I can take it to go get fix on the bullshit as job I got done on my Windows. I'm sure tony is paying them. He reminds me of a jolly, yet straight-forward buisness man. I went in to get a system and everyone had told me about $500 for a simple bass setup. I went to extreme and they were SUPER helpful and they even worked with me on the price. they broke it down and gave me a GREAT package deal.
