I have been calling and leaving detailed voicemails to request to honor the warranty that came with my tint for well over a year now. The entire front window is peeling badly. I only used water to clean it as I was advised when the tint was first applied. I don't live close anymore, so it is important to coordinate an appointment over the phone so I can make the trip and set aside time for things to go smoothly. I really didn't want it to come to this and was initially excited to get some quotes for some additional work as my wife's car was fine and this could have just been a freak accident. My red line was that I confirmed the phone number the warranty, google maps, yelp and even having a family member drive by to take a picture of the phones be number displayed from the outside of the business. Even after spending over a grand with this business and patiently calling for over year on a monthly basis to leave polite and detailed voicemails about this matter, I wasn't even given a call back, let alone a fix or partial comp to go somewhere else and fix it. read more

I went to get my rear window Re-tinted because over the years it had started to peel and was beginning to be blurry. Tony has the best deals on tinted windows. I have taken several of my vehicles over the years for his service. Quality work and the wait is not too long. The average wait is between 2-3 hours depending on how many windows you are getting tinted. Plenty of eateries not far from the location if you wait for your vehicle. Hands down the worst tint job on my Bolt EV ever. Came here from a recommendation. So sorry I did. Tint doesn't come up all the way on side windows and back hatch window cutting is horrendous. The only reason I'm not taking it back to them to make it right is that GM bought back my car. $240 down the drain. Yes, I did notify them and they did say they would "make it right". Responding to owners comment: Your comment shows the unprofessional business. Get to the point instead of pointing out who lies to who. The fact that two times u denied getting our tint fixed justifies itself. Makes no sense why he would have to ask his wife (which is me) to think about getting the tint fixed after trying two times. It needed to be fixed and if u guys would of fixed your own work, u could of done it on the spot. Just accept the fact that you guys can't back up your warranty. Shady business. I now just seriously hope that the people that I recommended don't have this issue where they are given the run around to have tint fixed in a future. I was required to go and get cash to pay for a sun strip on my windshield I had 25.00 cash and their debit card machine was not working. I drove several miles to the nearest bank and got the requested 30 dollars cash, and came back, and was told that the owner didn't want to do my car anymore, because, I initially wanted to pay with my debit card, but he offered to accept 75.00 cash. He was upset because I ask him to do the windshield strip , which cost 30.00 dollars, and that I had cash 25.00 cash, therefore he should have charged more for the two side windows. It should be noted that originally, the manager, agreed to accept my debit car for full services rendered. After he misplaced his pass word for his debit machine, his worker Carlos, said to me at the completion of the job, that he had " good and bad news for me" One, their debit machine was not assessable, and would I accept paying 75.00 cash.?? I agreed, and paid the requested 75.00 cash.. Upon, leaving, I asked how much would it cost to put a 10 inch strip on my windshield. Carlos responded that it would cost 30.00 dollars. I again checked my pockets and found 25.00 dollars. Carlos, said that i would have to go to the nearest atm bank and bring back 30.00 cash, in order for him to install the 10 inch strip on my windshield . I drove quickly to the nearest bank and came back with the 30.00 cash. Unfortunately, it was too close to their 6 pm closing. I called again the next day and was informed by Carlos that the boss, did t want to do my car at all, and that I should take my business elsewhere. I think, that although any owner or manger has the right to refuse service to any one when initially asked to provide a service. However, it very unprofessional for a manager of a car tint service to get angry, because a customer did not realize how much money, he had in his pocket to pay for a tinting service. Realizing, that customer asked at the beginning before services were rendered, if the business accepted a personal debit card. The manager responded in the affirmative.!! As a rule , I don't carry much cash, and I usually pay for everything with my debit, to allow for good record keeping. I would advise others who need tinting services on their cars to consider the un professional attitude of the manager of Tony's Tinting service on Arrow highway in Irwindale. I signed my tint order slip so they could start applying the tint to my auto windows, which I was told would be ready in 1.5-2 hours. Came here to have the windows on my 2015 Toyota Highlander. I came just after they opened around 9:15am and I was #2 in line to have service done. You can tell they take pride in there work! They take there time and get the job done right the first time! The windows turned out great and they even wiped down all the door panels because of the over spray from when they put the tint on. Just left this place- correction just got very rudely kicked out of this place for asking if there is a price break on 3 windows after having established the price for one window! Lol! The price for one window was 30$ so when the guy quoted me 90$ for three windows the next logical step was to politely ask if they could knock 5$ or 10$ off of the 90$ for three. At worst; should have been a friendly no in which case I would've moved forward with having them do the quick job. Unfortunately the guy who answered the phone who's name I didn't get (once I showed up I saw he's short and skinny skinny with a patchy kinda beard) is emotionally unstable and immediately lost control of his anger. When I asked for the price break from the individual window to the set of three he said: "your lucky I don't tell you off!" As well as: "your too calm" and "beat it!" Lol! Laughably egregiously low level of customer service by the poor angry guy. Is he the owner? Can't imagine a business having much success at all being run this way. My heart goes out to him bc it's clear he's in emotional pain/distress- still that doesn't change the fact that it is appropriate to have healthy boundaries up when dealing with someone who is having an episode of this nature. As I drove away I let him know: "your losing business bc you lose your temper much too easily." All his employees who witnessed the interaction offered him no support instead they all gave the non verbal nods in agreement to my comment. That let me know that the way he treated me is normally how he treats other members of the community too. I advise to stay away from this business- as there are many other competitors in the area where they don't try to insist that you join them in their seemingly miserable way of passing the day in anger over little nonsense. This is the second vehicle I'll have to take back to have the tint re-done. When I brought back the first vehicle (under their warranty) to fix the bubbles in the tint, they were "too busy" that day to fix it, which I think is crap. I have a feeling the same will have to be done with this car. Just over one year and the windshield is peeling back in the corners. If you do decide to get your windows done here, buy the warranty, but do not expect that because you have a warranty your tint will last. After getting my windows done here I will NEVER be coming back. They have the worst service. After coming TWICE to try to get my window tint replaced with my extended warranty I purchased, I was turned away after they realized I wasn't a paying customer. My warranty is for three years and my tint bubbled up after ONE year. The tint they use is horrible quality. Last Saturday I bought a 2018 Ford Mustang GT. On Tuesday Morning when I got off work I took my car to Tony's to have my windows tinted: I got to the shop a few minutes after they opened and they started working on the car within a few minutes and I drove away a couple hours later. Great window tinting service. Carlos was very up front about pricing and quality. He also gave me the information I needed to make a good decision on which tint grade to apply to the vehicle. After about 2 hours my car was just about ready but a final walk through by the crew revealed one window would have to be redone.
