He showed me the different shades of tints. I told him what I wanted, and 2 hours later BOOM!! I had my truck looking "so fresh so clean". I did the number 3 tint all the way around. I've taken 4 cars here and the quality of tint has steadily decreased over the years. There are ALWAYS imperfections that the owner tries to convince me will go away. Perhaps he banks on customers not really knowing everything about tints. I certainly don't, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. This paired with the difficulty of communicating with the owner has made me decide to stop coming here. I'll explain what I mean. Car 1: This car already had tint. I wanted to save some money and remove the tint myself. I let the owner know and he decides to charge me 10 extra bucks since I tell him I didn't do a perfect job (95%) removing all the old glue. He still decides to tint over old glue... Car 2: Ends up with maybe 6 little bubbles/imperfections in the tint. He even takes a torch and squeegee to one, only after I complained... I think at this point in time the owner started the doing the tints himself. Which explains some of the differences in workmanship. Before this point I recall him referring to his "tint guy" Car 3: I call to schedule an appointment for two cars. He confirms the time and date. All is well. I show up and he has no idea who I am, that I called, or that I was bringing two cars. He lets me know he's run out of the darkest shade: limo. If I'd known this before hand I would've gone elsewhere. But im already there and decide to settle for the next darkest. As expected, tint has very obvious imperfections that he convinces me will go away. He says: bring it back if it becomes a problem. Car 4: He tells me he needs to make some modification to the tint since the car is old and the window seals aren't so fresh. Fine. Does a better job on this one than Car 3. However, it seems that he has applied the wrong tint shade to the front (4 all around instead of 3/4). At this point I'm just done and decide to leave. If you're looking for a bad price to quality ratio ($170 each!) , this is the place for you. If you want an imperfect tint where the attitude is "just bring it back" then come here. If you're looking for a good quality local tint shop, you should probably look elsewhere. I don't care too deeply about my cars but I wouldn't recommend you bring your new car where the quality of tints is important to you. read more

The tint job was fairly decent, not superb. Robert was pretty quick at installing my tints less than two hours. There were no air or water bubbles after a week of curing. Currently one criticism I have of my tint job is there are quite a few of dust particles and light smudges trapped between the tints, not serious to a point of obstructing the views. I don't think they're gonna go away. Robert should've been more detailed-oriented toward washing my windows before applying the tints. I know it's an open environment but I believe he could've done a much better job to minimize the dusts from adhering to my windows. This is by far the best service that I have gotten from any service industry! Robert was awesome, he did a tint on my Prius v with Llumar ctx 15 all around and it was his suggestion to go with it. He never pressure or push me, more importantly just educated me on the different tint and what is legal and not. Anytime I had a question, I was alway comfortable asking and he never seem bother by it. In addition, I had my 2 young kids with me and he had no issue, instead he made them feel very at home. Have been going to Rob for 15 years, his work is 100% the best in the area. My last 2 cars came back with damage though; things haven't been the same since he expanded his team. I brought in my 2-week new Tesla on 10/12/18 and his team gouged my chrome trim above my door & also bent my interior dashboard panel under the windshield. I went back to tell him and he had nothing to say except that the damage was there when I brought the car in. Very disappointed that he lied to my face so easily; will not be sending any more business his way and will never step foot into his shop again. My money goes to ethical businesses only. No one should ever visit this place. The owner is very unprofessional. He intentionally installed the wrong film at the sun visor location. Probably thought I would not notice. When I did he started bullshitting me to get me out of there. He had no intention on making it right and retaining return business. On the way home I realized that he actually did this on purpose for some unknown reason. I called back and let him know I was unhappy. He stated on the phone that he would put scrap pieces that would leave a seem. When I told him it had to be what I actually paid for is when he started with major attitude and told me that I got that for free anyway. I paid $140 for 3 windows and the sun visor so I did not get anything for free. This owner hates return customers. Before I got in the vehicle I told him I would be back with the next car. I came by this shop in Azusa while looking for a place to tint the windows on my Honda Odyssey minivan in July 2010. I got a quote for the tint, and it was reasonable, considering how big and how many windows there were on my Honda. But before I said yes, I looked around the shop to see how the showroom and work area looked, because you can usually get a good idea on the quality of the work by checking out the shop. Well, it was clean and well kept, so I went ahead and did the tint. Two hours later, it was done. Everything looked good, and almost three yeas later, everything is still in great shape, no bubbles or peeling as the owner uses Llumar window tint. Everything was so good, I brought in my other car today, April 18, 2013, to have the tint done. I will write a separate review on that in a few days. I highly recommend this place. read more
