This is my second vehicle where I had my windows tinted by VIP. Both times the service and quality of the tinting was awesome. Robert, his son and the team at VIP were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. In my first vehicle, a Toyota iM, and I expect with my second vehicle, there were absolutely no issues. My second car is a collector 99 Camaro convertible. Since there were no templates to cut the tint to size, the installer hand made the "to fit" tint specifically for it. And fit they did. The owners response is disingenuous and misleading. Yes I waited a year and half, and in my original review I explained why. I gave you plenty of time to make good on your promises which unfortunately you never did, not even a follow up call. You made zero effort except to Deny, Deflect and Depose here. NOTE: The majority of reviews are not organic but solicited by Robert in exchange for a discount. A business that has to "Buy" positive reviews is questionable at best. Your attempting to refute my claims and deflect blame is abhorrent, speaking volumes about your lack of character, integrity and professionalism. 27 years in the business? I wouldn't brag about that considering how you've handled all this. That is not the flex you think it is. It's clear Robert you have no idea what you're talking about, are intentionally being deceitful, or confusing me with another person. I can't recall ever meeting your father, and I certainly wasn't having cash flow issues when I spent $56,000 cash on 2 Rovers within three months. There was not ever an issue with my phone or being able to contact me unless the issue was on your end. Fact is, I'd had this number since appx 2014, it wasn't new or recently changed as you're implying. It's par for the course you'd be deceitful about that. I did not bad mouth a previous business, I have no idea who did the work. I had just purchased the 2012 vehicle for cash from a private party. Regardless, I'm allowed to be unhappy with poor quality work and shame on you for suggesting otherwise. There was no 2005 Land Rover it was a 2006 and that is important because it's another point showing a lack of attention to detail, and brings into question the half-truths and misleading statements you're making just to suit your narrative. The pattern here is you lying, attempting to deflect, gaslight and shame me while you seem oblivious, lacking self awareness that your accusations are projections of your own behavior. You're absolutely responsible for getting water in my door lock module (on the inside of the door, behind the door panel). Your guys were rushing, having a hard time with the steamer removing the old tint, and having called employees in from your other location you still couldn't get it done on time. I mean, 27 years and you can't schedule properly? Please explain again how I'm at fault for your inability to properly schedule and manage your team? When I picked up the vehicle from you the alarm kept going off because the door lock module was waterlogged. As you well know the issue did not exist prior to drop off. At the time I wrote a long thread on RangeRovers.net documenting exactly how you damaged my vehicle, I went into great detail (as well as explained to you, not my fault if you're incapable of understanding) how it was damaged and what I had to do to repair it. At dealer rate it was at least $2300 of billable time, thankfully I was able to save the module or I'd have pursued other action. Based solely on the quality of work you did I'm sure I'm more qualified on this than "your guy". For the same reason It's easy to see why I wouldn't have faith in anyone you would refer me to. I happen to have more diverse experience than the average dealer tech and use the same specialized tools the dealer does. Word of warning to other customers, you don't ever take it to "their guy" as it is a conflict of interest. "Their guy's" whole job is to refute your claim and side with them. You demand a neutral 3rd party that you can select and they pay for it. There are legal remedies to enforce this. Don't fall for the "my guy will fix it" scam. Robert, a professional business takes responsibility for their mistakes. So let me ask you, in your response do you feel you owned your mistakes ? Because, all I see is deflection, gaslighting and refusal to admit that you damaged my vehicle, instead being deceitful and manipulative, trying to shame me. In which you've shown everyone your true colors with your own words and actions (pictures attached). I spoke with one of our lawyers about your tax scam and she agreed it is unethical and urged me to report you to the franchise tax board. If I'm lying you're welcome to sue me for libel and we can settle this in civil unlimited court. It would be great to get this all documented on the public record so there is no confusion and you can no longer twist the facts to suit your narrative. Fair warning: The countersuit I would file will more than likely allow me to take all your business assets which at a minimum will put you out of business and also stop you from deceiving others. Until then this isn't the hill you want to die on, you're woefully unprepared, reeking of ignorance like someone who hasn't showered in 27 years. Robert, I fear your father failed you. Took my 2020 C63S AMG Sedan to VIP Auto Customs to get a new tint, Ceramic Coating and Powerder Coating my wheels (glossy black). I was referred to this shop by my good friend Niko. I just purchased this car a few days ago and I was very nervous on where to take it to. Having said that, my friend Niko told me to trust him and take it to Robert at VIP Auto Customs. I stopped by the shop, met Robert and his team and may I say, these guys were friendly, professional and had a very nice, clean shop. I had my windows tinted here about 2 years ago and wanted to wait to test their work in time. I'm absolutely beyond pleased so far with the tint around my car. The reason for tinting my car windows was to reduce heat that competed with my A/C and it's been a success! They didn't leave my car dirty after working on it. They worked around my work schedule and offered a ride to the office and back (I work extremely close to this shop). There was a discrepancy with the quote versus what they we're charging me, but they honored their original quote which was a bit lower. The place looks clean with very professional staff ready to answer my many questions and even offer suggestions based on there expertise. All in all, my son's bringing his vehicle soon for a tint. read more

I messaged the place and found they stopped offering the 10% yelp deal even though it's still up on yelp. They did say they would honor it if i paid cash. Also, their initial response was a bit off putting and unprofessional which I've read in another review before. UPDATE: Just to clarify in response to their response, -if you took out the 10% off deal off of yelp sometime after we spoke and just now put it back then yes, my review is out of context so anyone can disregard that part. -the yelp form simply asks "In what location do you need the service?" so I just put my area zipcode but the response I got from Robert was "We don't offer mobile services!" and then the request was immediately marked "Unable to service" without me making any sort of reply first. -professional and non-off-putting would go something like "Hi, unfortunately we do not offer mobile services. Were you looking to come to the shop?" instead of "We don't offer mobile services!" -I simply said "My apologies, the yelp form was confusing." which isn't admitting my fault but yelp's issue and I simply apologized because your response gives off the tone of "we don't do that! go away!". -being more than happy to honor the price with the catch of having to pay with cash is not the same as simply honoring the price. its a mistake on your or yelp's part which ends up being a compromise on the customers part. read more

I called Saturday morning and Robert instructed me to email photos of the job. I got a price quote for installing decals on our Toyota Tacoma between $400-$600 and I wanted to schedule right away. They were accommodating and they told me Glendora location was open. Brandon helped me check in the car and Chris and TOny proceeded to install the 4 decals. They were able to finish 3/4 of the job on Saturday and balance of the work was finished today . I waited comfortably in their waiting area. Very reliable and great work. Drove to VIP in Monday and met with Robert. He is very knowledgeable and went through and explained all the different styles and quality of tints he had available. I chose a basic CS 4 door package with a windshield strip. The total came out to $375. I took my car in on Tuesday morning around 10am. They were working on a car and there was a car ahead of me but since it was a three hour job and I wasn't working that day I had no problem waiting until later in the day for the job to be finished. I called around 430pm and they told me that my car was done. I went to pick it up and was blown away by how amazing the job came out. It improved the look of my car tremendously.
