Every single employee stopped to ask if I needed help and did the same with other customers as well. And the way they stopped to check in was so genuine, not forced. It's a wonder that I don't come to the boodle more often, but each time I visit, I always think, wow I should come in here more often. First of all, the store is laid out nicely with plenty of space and room to wander the aisles and peruse the furniture, kitchen gadgets and home decor. I've found really good basics as well as unique pieces here. The staff is always super welcoming, friendly and so helpful. On this particular trip I picked up two dining chairs that were 74% off which is another thing that I love, their end of season sales, such an incredible value! You can also pick up gifts like puzzles, socks and miscellaneous treats depending on the season.

Let us know right away that he couldn't help us because he's the door guy and we were looking for cabinets (we were actually also interested in looking for doors, too, but we didn't get that far), and he was just covering. And even though we said we came from the coast, he said we could "just come back" on Monday. No, sweetie, we can't do that when we both work full time and had gotten a sitter so we could come look at cabinets that day. So we went to a different place and got excellent service from people who actually wanted our business! Maybe with enough bad reviews, this place might do something about their crappy salespeople.

Did you know that getting a skylight installed in Portland is hard? Well, it is, but not for the…read morereasons you would expect. I called all over town to anyone listed on Google looking for someone to do a relatively simple install of 2 skylights. As it turns out, it's damn near impossible to find a reliable company that is willing to sell you the skylight and complete the installation. I must've burned through 8 companies before I finally checked the Velux website for certified installers in PDX. Sure enough, Green City Skylights and Solar were one of only TWO companies on the list. I called and got Shawn, who owns the company. He responded promptly to my call, showed up to my house on time, and got me an estimate in less than 6 hours. This may not seem like much, but he was the only one of 5 companies to do all of these things right. His estimate wasn't the cheapest, but he was by far the most knowledgeable and likable of the lot. We signed with Green City 2 weeks ago and I'm already the proud owner of two freshly installed skylights. They did the work in less than a day, the crew were all good guys and obvious pros, and they didn't leave the place a total mess. I even volunteered to vacuum the schmutz that they did leave behind. If you're out looking for skylights, I feel your pain. Just do yourself a favor and make sure Green City is in the mix. They'll take everybody else to school.

He was helpful in choosing the right size for the space, and going over the different options for features, etc. The price was totally fair, and based on other reviews here I felt confident that the work would be of good quality. It took a week or so for the materials to arrive, and they came to install a couple of days later. We had 3 skylights installed in our attic, and they turned out fantastic. They did the drywall finishing as well, which we are very happy with.

I'm writing to heartily recommend Top Refinish for any cabinet repairs or refinishing needs you…read moremight have. We had a small flood in our kitchen and staff from the restoration firm we hired cut numerous and excessively large holes in the base supports of our cabinets. In many places, these spanned cabinet joints and left the cabinets without proper support. We also had a cabinet door damaged during the process - a broken hinge for which no replacement parts were available still. We had other cabinet doors knocked out of alignment. Trying to find a firm to fix these, replace the kickplates/trim, etc. that were left by the restoration company was difficult. It was a relatively small job. Ervin was one of only 2 companies that responded and was willing to take on our small job. Not only did Top Refinish respond immediately, they sent out an estimator promptly. Ervin and his employees are all great communicators. Everything was very professional and their costs are reasonable given their expertise. Give them a call for a bid. You'll be glad you did.

I texted Ervin and within a day he was at my house and fixed the drawer. In a world where customer service has fallen by the wayside Ervin goes above and beyond to guarantee the quality of his work. I really appreciate that and would recommend Ervin without hesitation to friends or family.

From the moment we walked into Premier Kitchens and Cabinets, Dennis made us feel at ease. He immediately understood the look we were after and guided us through wood and color selections that fit our style perfectly. Dennis was incredibly patient, kind, and easy to work with. He came to our home to take measurements and learn what we liked about our existing setup--what worked, what didn't, and how he could improve our storage and overall functionality. He even pointed us toward vendors to help us find the perfect hardware. Their entire team--from countertop to cabinet installers--was prompt, professional, detail-oriented, and just really nice to have in our home. When an issue with the flooring came up that could have affected the quality of the cabinet install, Jesse (the owner) stepped in right away, paused the project, and helped us figure out the right solution.
