Extremely disappointing experience. I paid $300 including tip to have both of my dogs groomed at Cute Cuts. I specifically requested ears, nails, glands, and a wash. These dogs have been to this salon numerous times, and their previous groomer always did an excellent job, routinely complimented my dogs, and charged $60-$80 less for the same services. Unfortunately, that groomer is no longer there. After this appointment, I put the dogs in their kennels and went to bed because I work nights. The next day I noticed their nails were clicking loudly across the floor. I checked their ears and found that they clearly had not been cleaned either. Anyone familiar with Golden Doodles knows that their ears need regular attention because they are particularly prone to ear problems. I called five days later when I had time and left a voicemail explaining what I found. The owner, Phil, called me back and immediately told me it was "very unlikely" that his groomers had skipped any services. I sent him fresh, live iPhone photos of my dogs directly to his phone. Instead of being concerned about whether the services I paid for were actually performed or trying to make the situation right, the conversation seemed to be much more about avoiding a bad review. Phil insisted he was sure both dogs' nails had been done and refused to acknowledge the ear issue. He also told me he couldn't speak to an individual dog's nail growth over the course of a week. Let's be serious. One of my dogs, Charlie, was dragging his ass before the appointment and had an odor because his glands needed to be expressed. The ears and nails were very clearly not addressed. At that point, I'm left wondering what exactly was done besides putting my dogs in a bath. I paid $300 for two dogs and specifically requested multiple services. Based on what I found afterward, it sure feels like I paid $300 for a wash. The grooming itself was disappointing enough. The way the owner handled the complaint made it significantly worse. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I expected the services I specifically paid for to actually be performed. After being a repeat customer, I will not be returning, in any capacity. read more

I brought my two dogs here for a full groom and our groomer did a great job listening to what we wanted. Each dog took about 2 hours and came out looking pretty! My issue is with price transparency. When booking online, one of my dogs falls under the "large" category and the other under "medium." It appears to me that sizing on their website is based on weight (and therefore, pricing). After talking on the phone with an employee before my appointment, she confirmed that one dog would be large and the other dog medium. However, after both dogs had been groomed, I was informed that the staff would actually classify both of my dogs as large (which makes the groom more expensive). This is confusing and frustrating for a couple reasons - their own website classifies my dog as a medium size dog based on weight and it was confirmed with an employee prior to the groom (we specifically discussed their size and weight on the phone). My dogs may not look like they have significant size differences, however they take different medication based on their weight and wear different sized harnesses and collars because of their size difference. They actually are different sizes. I understand that a large dog is extra work. You have to draw the line somewhere, as vet offices who prescribe medication do, as pet stores who sell harnesses and supplies do, as Cute Cuts seemingly does based off weight. But stick to it. My dog clearly and consistently fits into a medium in all other cases. It felt most icky that they let me know at the point of payment, not beforehand. So if you book here, I'm sure you'll get a pretty pet but know that pricing is subjective and may change unknowingly between your booking and time of payment. read more

We used to love this place before they moved locations. They seemed to have downsized so their self wash services are very limited. We went in 3 hrs before close, had to wait 20 minutes before anyone came out to the front desk, and they turned us away because their self wash baths were full at the moment and they had 2 people waiting. Before they moved they had 4 or 5 baths and we never had to wait longer than a couple mins. Their new location is also tucked away in an area where you cant find them unless youre looking for them. Overall, disappointed with their new location and service. I'm sure they're self wash and grooming services are still good but we didnt get to find out lol. We ended up going to Elegant Dog Grooming and will be continuing to take our business there as they have 10 self wash baths and a large open space. read more

I now know where to wash my dog! I rescued my dog 2 months ago and he had been chained up in the dirt for the past 5 years. When I got him he was a filthy, matted mess and not used to groomers or bathing whatsoever. Being a malamute husky mix the drama can be quite difficult and the staff was very patient and kind. They provided the care, help and all of the resources to have me get the self wash done. One of the groomers was able to fit in a quick trim of his hind end as his hair was far too long for him to ever poop and have a 'clean get away'. She was so careful, caring and patient with my dog's antics. King Arthur weighs over 100 pounds and the elevated tub area made his bath time very easy and successful. He now looks incredible and smells delightful. I am so glad I have a new place to wash my dog. read more

We recently moved to this area and until today our dog baby had been groomed by a mobile groomer. We decided to try cute cuts and we are more than pleased. I cannot say enough good things about Cute Cuts! The groomers here are so patient and kind, and have the best interest of your dog at heart. Our dog, Koby, was adopted a couple of months ago and is really fearful of new places and people. Kiana (hopefully I spelled that right) immediately recognized Koby by name after only meeting him once or twice in the past. She was so patient with his nail trim and helped me develop a plan to get him used to being groomed. She was wonderful and clearly wanted to help with Koby's anxiety and get him to a place where feels comfortable and fear-free when coming there. Everyone there is so friendly and clearly love what they do! They pamper the dogs, shower them with positive attention, and provide great education to the owners on grooming maintenance. I had to start the conversation by saying I was here to check out the self wash area. She's not friendly. Area is very small with inky two stations. I have 2 dogs one senior that is almost 13 and has some physical medical issues. They called the day before the visit just to confirm and see if I had any questions or concerns. The owner listened and acknowledged everything I was concerned or curious about. They also called me during the grooming when they found a sore on her side. The girls look amazing! They werent trying to run out the door when I picked them up but they were when I dropped them off. They werent stressed when I picked them up. I'll be going here from now on. I had a very positive experience and I feel my dogs did too. I've been going here for years for the self service wash I liked the tubs being higher up for me. But it always seemed gloomy and dingy. But now the grooming area and the entire place felt brighter and cleaner. I know that it's a dog groomer and there will always be dirt and grime but the place feels better the owners have been there for about 3 yrs and it's changed. They care about your fur babies more than anywhere I've ever taken them. I've had a bad experience with groomers before and have only gone when I just can't physically do it myself because of that experience. They've changed my mind about that. The care and communication the owners and the groomers showed my girls impressed me. Thank you for renewing my faith in a dog grooming establishment. I will definitely go back!
