I love this spot! Flat rate cost based on weight. My dog is almost 100 pounds and it's only 22 bucks. They provide shampoos/conditioners, towels, slip leads, just about any grooming tool you'd need. They have ear cleaner, cotton balls, cologne spritz's etc. It's 1000000000% worth it. I bring my own shampoo and tools most days, but they always have sanitized equipment if you need it. Staff has always been wonderful as well, very quick to clean up behind people so tubs are ready and stocked for the next person. They're also quick to get you checked out in the lobby. You can also pay before you wash too, which I like to do since my dog always wants to go potty after their bath. read more

I have my 2 dogs attend daycare for over 2 years now and have boarded them as well. I have used their groomers, and I have never had a bad experience with them. They are very good with my dogs. Example - I had boarded my dogs early last year and had great experience, I currently have my dogs boarding with them again. They had all the information in their records for what meds my dog takes, to how to wrap the pills in bread, to how many blankets they like - Barkzone is awesome. I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews but again I only use the self wash kiosk and it was my first time and I felt like it was a breeze. They had everything in there from shampoo conditioner to different sprays like cologne .. brush sizes, wet brushes, a drying station, grooming, supplies for you to do at your own. Visited to clean pup up after camping. The good is that there was no waiting on a Monday afternoon. There weren't enough clean aprons available and there was hair fluff flying all around because no one had swept the floor. The dryers worked really well but it was nerve wracking because the platform had no sides on it - wiggling dogs trying to get away from the vacuum could easily be hurt, even with the slip leashes provided. The price was good and wouldn't count it out if needed again in a pinch, but this wouldn't be my go-to spot because of the above. read more

I'll preface with - maybe the receptionist is new... This was our first time here and I brought my golden in for a groom. When I walked in, the receptionist was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me and continued to not acknowledge me for 1.5-2 minutes after her phone call ended. She also handed me paperwork to complete that I'd already completed online. Groomer Noelle came out and asked if we were doing the same thing as last time. I told her we'd never been there before and she seemed surprised and said she must be mistaking us with someone else. However, she was polite and gave me an idea of what I could expect from the groom. I was told the groom would take about 3 hours and it took nearly 4, with no contact for updates from BarkZone until 40 minutes after the originally estimated time they'd be done. I even called 3 times trying to get an update and no one ever answered. When I got there to pick up my dog, the receptionist was on the phone and put the caller on speaker phone while getting all of his credit card information (full card #, security code, and zip code), while myself and two other adults were in the lobby. When the receptionist went to take my payment for the groom, she told me it was going to be $100, which is fine, but I asked if that price included the $25 deposit I made when booking. She said no and then adjusted it - if I wouldn't have asked, she would have overcharged me. Overall, the groom is meh and could have been better, as there are some wonky parts and things that definitely could have been done differently. Definitely won't be going back. read more

I went there first time from last year, i was very impressed with all the staffs, at that time everyone were nice,helpful and professional, including the place was cleaned too!But about two months ago i went back and everything was changed, the front staffs are not very nice and warm welcome like before, i saw a comment from another customer feel the same way, and haircut is not very good, from 10 i gave 7. The place was stinky, i did write email to the manager. For my recommend the owner should come more often, this place need to be change to be better about service and etc..., I miss old staffs who were very nice before, when i read reviews at the beginning there were many nice reviews and gave you high score. We took our dog here for daycare for a little over a year. It was going great until we noticed the high turnover rate. The people that used to work there were actual dog people and knew how to treat and handle dogs properly and treated them with respect. Recently, this place seemed to hire just a bunch of "bodies"; essentially just people who need a paycheck, people who are not dog people. Our issue with this place was that cleaning supplies and chemicals were in use and being sprayed by staff, or laying around the daycare floor, while dogs were roaming or laying around. We noticed this on webcam. In addition, they also had a big vacuum with the hose on the floor. Cleaning like this during business hours seems backwards to us. Even with all the cleaning, the floors looked dirty and disgusting. Hence one of the reasons why we took our dog out of this place. To make matters worse, these people only know how to yell and scream at dogs instead of giving proper commands. All the more reason to show that these people are not trained properly to handle dogs. One time my dog got put into a kennel for 2.5 hours because of "time out" for running after the vacuum hose, but then again, why would you actively clean constantly, all day with a large number of dogs around? We called because we didn't see her on webcam for a while and they claimed that they "forgot" to get her out of the kennel. In closing, apart from the two kind staff members that we dealt with recently, the rest of them are quite the disrespectful, low-key bunch and definitely need more training in how to handle dogs, and frankly how to talk to customers. I'd skip this place if I were you, especially with this ongoing respiratory disease among dogs now. read more

Dog wash review only: The dog wash could do with a sprucing up. The tubs are OK and they give you a few different types of shampoo to choose from. For those of us who need to dry our dog with high velocity dryers, they have five drying stations with only three having HV dryers. The hose kept falling off of one so I moved to another station and the nozzle kept falling off of that one. They all need to be replaced. Every brush and comb available for use was filthy and full of hair from other dogs. This place works in a pinch but I would suggest looking for someplace that's better maintained and cleaner. read more

So wish I had looked at Yelp first. The groomer I used moved, and inconsistent availability/change in groomers/groomer hours at Noah's Arf had me looking for a new place. Loved that Barkzone was open 7 days a week. First time I dropped by for self wash and asked about nails. Totally understand no groomers (it was 5pm on a Saturday) and that the place was a bit dirty/low on supplies. Today I had a scheduled nail trim at 8 am and planned a self wash. Arrived, was told they couldn't do nails. Talk to the receptionist and she is trying to make an appointment for me for tomorrow. I told her I had an appointment for today, so how would this be different? She went back to the groomers and told them I had and appointment and was not a walk in. Sergio knew there was a nail trim on the schedule but isn't feeling well so he won't be doing any nail trims today. Ummm...WTH? Receptionist is very apologetic but there is nothing she can do. While I was waiting for her to talk to the groomers twice I couldn't help but notice the dog hair in the reception and self wash areas. It's 8am, the place should be spotless. read more

My Boston terrier was boarded for the thanksgiving holiday. When I returned to town Bark Zone Bethany contacted me they were taking my dog to vet as has dog bite just to make sure ok. My dog had to be sedated, intubated(they ensure he is getting enough oxygen) multiple stitches, and a drain placed in side of neck as wound was so deep didn't want to completely close it yet and let blood drain out. Had to go back to vet next day as my dog was shoring objective signs of pain that was under treated. Other dog no medical care needed/no injuries. I'm left wondering how this serious aggressive injury was sustained without immediate intervention from staff. read more
