Here, we dropped him off and they returned him within 5 minutes. It was almost like they didn't even try. He was partially wet. I'm upset because their website is advertised as specializing in this kind of experience that makes dogs comfortable. And they treated my dog far from that.

I can't say exactly what happened while he was there, but his eye was clearly not in that condition when we dropped him off. Also, my dog seemed extremely stressed and traumatized after the visit. My dog is usually clawing her way away from the groomer to get to me and this time she barely noticed I was there. That was a good sign that she had a better experience than normal. Diedra gave her the best body cut we have had and was able to do what has been fairly impossible in the past...she cut her nails all down really well!! The friend who recommended Diedra was a groomer and said "I trust her" and I can see why. We as owners do not know what goes on in the back, but fellow groomers do and that stamp of trust approval meant allot to this worried dog momma. I highly recommend Diedra and will be back! However, she love's Elizabeth who gets the job done without making my pup scared to come back. I also love Elizabeth's attention to detail ie handling yeasty paws and rugged claws after a trip to the farm. We feel very lucky to have a good groomer after losing Darcy. Darcy got my pup comfortable in the space young but Elizabeth keeps her currently content. There are other groomers we've had do walk in nails which is a service we love! I do think most are good but you'll have to try for yourself. Tip: if you need a groom but can't get into Lombard, Vancouver sometimes has openings. Best smelling soap ever in Vancouver.

I wasn't clear about what I wanted and she made an assumption that wasn't right. To her great credit, she called me and apologized and offered to return my charge for the groom. This is a good business woman who took responsibility for her part of the mistake. Murphy and I apologize for or snap reaction.
