Prices! My original haircut and style was from shoulder…read morelength to above the ears. I have very fine hair, so basically a man's cut. I didn't think much of being charged $70, but when I returned a few months later for a trim, I was charged the same $70!!! Plus I leave a tip! Prior to this trim, I watched her cut a man's hair, use product and blow dry (style). He was charged $45 This makes zero sense to me. I won't be back.

It's interesting they have different levels of experience that you can select, but this also helps if you have a budget. So they have level 1 stylists up to level 4 based on experience. When I went to the salon, every worker and customer were wearing masks and everything was clean. I ended up having to cut my appointment short but I let my stylist know when I got there that I was on a time crunch. She did a great job of finding solutions for what I wanted and sticking to my timeline. I will definitely be going back!

I wanted lived-in blonde, long layers that blended well with both my natural color and my existing highlights and she absolutely delivered. Sam takes time to really listen to her clients and it's clear she really knows what she is doing. Her assistant Emma is equally fantastic - very knowledgeable, talented, and highly professional - and makes you feel like you're in good hands. Together, they make an excellent team. Also shout out to salon management for linking each stylist's social media page to their bio on the salon website. Being able to swipe through different stylists' cut and color photos helped me find the stylist perfect for me, influencing my decision to choose Sul the Studio for my hair needs. 1000/10 highly recommend!

I paid $185 for a cut and color with Marah and left extremely disappointed…read more Marah was very nice, but unfortunately the results did not reflect the consultation we had beforehand or the level of service I expected for that price point. I clearly explained that I wanted the brassiness removed and my hair toned to a cooler, ashy shade using permanent color to cover my grays. Instead, a red tone was deposited across my entire head, my grays weren't covered, and according to the salon manager, permanent color wasn't even used despite that being what I requested. The haircut was also visibly uneven. For nearly $200, I expected a stylist who could follow what was clearly discussed during the consultation and deliver professional results. Unfortunately, the outcome was the opposite of what I asked for.

The third model picture is what i showed Bianca (the hair stylist i was assigned to) and the first…read moretwo pictures is how my hair turned out. My hair stylists was very difficult to understand and she showed me color samples and asked what i thought matched best to the picture (which was very strange to me) and even when i pointed to the color, she went against what i said and it turned out horrible when she started to dry my hair. I ran to the bathroom really upset because i wanted to go darker for my wedding and my hair was destroyed. Her and another girl both said they had to put toner in my hair and i told them i wasn't comfortable with my hair getting even more messed up. Bianca told me that this was her work and she didn't want me to leave until it was fixed. I was guilted into staying. Her and another girl DIDNT put toner in, they put a really dark hair dye in and it turned out a really dark brown color (still had a red tint to it). Bianca and the other stylist assured me when i agreed to stay that I wouldn't be charged for the mistake. After Bianca blowed dry my hair i was still upset and we walked up to the front so i could pay for my hair cut that i was still willing to pay for. They tried to charge me after saying i wouldn't and when i said i refused to pay for her mistake and it not turning out to how i had asked, she accused me of this being my plan all along and called me cheap. I never posted this because this was right before salons shut down due to covid and i didn't want it to reflect on the salon, but they should be very particular of who they hire in a salon located in cascade that should be nice. The front desk staff was very friendly and apologetic. They ended up charging me $60 for the hair cut for just a trim because Bianca told them to. My hair was medium length and she didn't cut off very much, but i didn't argue it. I'm very disappointed in the service and definitely hope they replaced Bianca with a better qualified stylist.
