The owner is super friendly, the space is clean, they have a good range of colors to pick from, and pricing is typical. I like the vibes here, there's plenty of parking, and my nails always look great when I leave. I just go to get gel manicures, but they do lots of different types of nail sets, pedicures, eyebrow waxing, etc..

My boyfriend and I both got manis and pedis, and the salon was bigger than I expected, busy, and well-run. The staff was friendly and professional throughout our appointments. I decided to go natural this time and just get gel polish. The shaping was nicely done, and the cuticle work was solid. The only hiccup was the polish color. I asked for a specific shade from their color chart and clarified it a few times, but somehow ended up with a different color than what I had in mind. After bringing it up a couple of times, I decided to just let it go and accept my fate . To be fair, the final color still looked good it just wasn't the shade I originally wanted. Overall, it was a minor issue in an otherwise positive experience. I'd still recommend this place and would definitely come back, just with some extra clarity next time (or maybe pointing directly at the bottle ).

You would think as a nail tech you would notice and cut it correctly. No. He cut it crooked. Now I'm going to Miami with my toes looking stupid as hell. The solution provided was to file it straight. Which would of been a solution if he hadn't cut it so short. Also did not remove any calluses...barely scrubbed the bottom of my foot but wanted to brush all up my legs. For what. I have no idea but it hurt and I told him to stop. Won't be back. I will say although I had a bad experience my friend loves it there.

I was able to get a same day appointment, which was nice. When I arrived, I was greeted and chose my polish color. The salon was clean and pretty quiet, making it nice to get some reading done. They have a sign on the front desk saying they are short handed and thanks for your patience. I did have to be patient, as I wasn't in the chair until 15 minutes past my appointment time. Luckily I wasn't in a hurry, but something to keep in mind if you have other plans. The tech was gentle and my pedicure was great. I just chose the cheapest option ($35) but they have some nice add ons. Once the pedicure was done I just sat in the chair and tried to wait for it to dry. They do take credit cards for payment but I had cash. Overall it was a good experience and I'd probably go back, but only if I don't have any commitments later in the day since it was a bit slow.

Not only are her services great and reasonably priced, I feel good supporting small local businesses such as hers. It's nice to get to know Jenny, listen to her stories about her children/grand children grow up (all Jenison graduates & students), and of course, walk out with "happy feet" and beautiful nails. I would suggest calling ahead to make appointments as she now works alone. Very ideal for peaceful pedicures or just simply getting nice quiet me time. I always look forward to my appointments!
