Always much needed when traveling! These need to be at alllll airports!! Friendly staff... tons if treatment options

Your lazy employee
Mel W.

The only good thing here is the massage chairs; the male staff employee is lazy. I came in for a 20-minute chair massage, which was great, but I wanted a 30-minute foot massage and chakra bed treatment. Instead, I was taken to a bed with just one sheet and no blankets offered no neck pillow on a FLAT BED WOW ! ... even though I saw blankets in the closet. There was also a ton of neck pillow. I've been going to Xpress Spa for over 10 years, and this is by far the worst customer service experience I've had. At 9:30 AM on September 28, the male worker was unprofessional. Your company missed out on revenue due to this lack of professionalism. I was told the blankets were being washed, yet you can clearly see in the attached photo that blankets and neck pillows were available in the closet. Overall, the woman was working hard, but the male worker was just not putting in the effort. Big mistake hiring him I can't imagine how much money Xpress Spa has missed because of the LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM.

Cecile and I after our magical massage from Hernando ( very Handsome if I say so myself)

Express Spa at the Miami Airport went above and BEYOND! My friend and I were exhausted from a red-eye and requested a full body massage! And lo and behold they called in the troops and were treated like royalty. Hernando went ABOVE and BEYOND! Thank you EXPRESS SPA

Bad quality

REALLY disappointing service. It took her a full hour to remove my gel. She kept losing the drill and it would spin and peal off my nail multiple times per nail, and she didn't fully get the color off. She said I had to get a manicure in addition to the gel charge and the gel removal charge because it takes time to prep the nail (which I know is common for some salons), but after she was done removing gel, she spent 3 minutes prepping the nail, and after painting she spent 1 minute moisturizing. The whole service took an hour and a half, and turned out unfinished. She was kind and had good intentions, but I had to pay $65 plus tip for nails that had less quality than my nails done by friends in nail school. This deserves a refund!

Great idea to have a spa in an airport! My boyfriend was feeling miserable during our 8hr layover so he while he did 30 mins in the relaxation recliners, I got my nails done. I chose a sparkly silver color. It was pretty, but the polish was applied in almost an unintentional ombré.. it's much thicker in the front of my nails than around my cuticle. The nail technician was very friendly and I did love the shape of my nails. It's a good way to pass the time at an airport.

Had a little layover over decided to polish my toes since this was a last minute trip. For the price the pedicure was just (thanks for polishing my toes because you have polish I don't lol). It was something I could do at home or probably while I was waiting for my flight not worth the price

I walked more than a mile to get to this location, from SWA terminal and then back after calling many times calling to see if they were open. Their voicemail didn't say it was closed, so I made the trip. Super frustrating. The sign says temporarily closed, but apparently it has been closed for a long time and I kinda doubt they will actually reopen.

I've seen these at airports all over the country and have always been curious, but was finally pushed to give it a try when Calm sent a promotion for a free 10-minute chair massage for app subscribers. It's conveniently located near D10 (and the Centurion Lounge is D12) so I made a pit stop a few minutes prior to boarding time. As soon as I walked in I noticed how clean and pleasant-smelling it is. The staff greeted me right away and got me set up on a chair, complete with pillow and blanket, and offered me some water. Off to a nice start! The massage is your basic chair massage with a remote control to adjust your settings as needed, but felt great to ease a little tension after the busy holidays. I checked out the rest of the menu of offerings and you can get everything from massages to manicures to your hair done. Prices are moderate to high but not unreasonable (you are at the airport after all!) but it's definitely a great way to kill time and reduce a little stress.

Spacious Spa in D Terminal

Sitting here right now in a massage chair waiting for my flight to start boarding and I can't thank Maria Cortina enough for my eyebrow and Brazilian wax! ($95 but well worth it in a bind). There was nothing open on Christmas and I flew out on a red eye! I have been to Xpress spas in ATL for mani/pedis and the staff here is super warm, inviting and they truly care about customer service. I can't wait to come back for a massage on my way back from St. Thomas.

Gaps and Nail polish all around the nail.
Haley D.

Not worth it. I had some time to kill before my flight. I got a gel manicure for $45 and the nail tech seemed to be in a rush to get to another person. My nails are a bit of a mess. Nail polish is on my hands, not just my nails. There's also a gap in one nail where she didn't fill it in. Very disappointed. Also the manager came around with tiny shots of espresso from Cafe Versailles. I get that it's a Miami institution but pretty gross to have your nail tech throw back a shot of coffee while cleaning your nails.

Francisco. XpresSpa.

I am very much happy by the attention given to me in this SPA. FRANCISCO was the name of the therapist who treated me . It was very relaxing . The guy was very kind , generous and gentle . I felt very comfortable , he applied the right amount of pressure in the right areas . This man is absolutely amazing , I was shy at first , since it was my first time there , but Francisco made me feel very comfortable as I said before . My final results were amazing , he gave me tips on how to treat my neck further . This man has incredible knowledge , he knows what he is doing and most importantly , he loves his job . AMAZING THERAPIST. I very much recommend him .

Wow. I am very impressed. I had the facial and it was worth my flight being delayed. I think I will show up early so I can do this again!

While manicures may seem to…read morebe this mini-spa's forte, I watched on as a lady sighed in relief and then grimaced in pain from a chair massage. It was one of those hurt so good moments. A moment that I, after a number of long haul flights, longed for. So I dropped my bags and waited patiently for my turn in the torture chair. The Cuban woman who took me on offered me a knowing look. She saw right through me and spoke to my soul: "I am going to wring you out," she seemed to suggest. I slid into my fate and pressed my face against the paper-covered face cushion (sanitary concerns be gone). Treating me like Stretch Armstrong, she pulled at my arms, bending and kneading them. She drove her elbows into my back finding webs of knots from one too many round-trips in a contortionist's economy seat and one too many days spent in front of a computer. Relief. Pain. Happiness. After 10 minutes, I paid for another 10.

(not to be sexist -- perfect for the busy guy on the run - they also have a sports mani especially in mind for the well groomed guy). Services range from a truly quick fix 10 minute mani, to upgrades that will make neglected hands look oh so fabulous again -- my nails and cuticles were a hot mess when i sat down, and by the time I motored on 25 minutes later (i indulged in a 20 minute mani), my hands were so much happier! Good quality products and quality aestheticians. New tools are used for each customer, so it is a top notch operation and the perfect way to spend that time waiting for your departure. The only improvement I might offer is that a glass of champers to totally take the edge off would put this place over the top!

Nery is fantastic! Booking is easy and she does a great job. I had an inspiration photo and she was…read moreable to suggest the perfect color. She uses high quality polishes and is thorough when prepping your nails. This was the best mani/pedi I've had in a long time!

I really love Nery and her space in the Phenix Salon Suites. It's cozy, clean, and there is a huge…read moresense of community as her neighboring suitemates would poke their heads in from time to time. Her place definitely isn't the type to bring friends, as she is the only manicurist in her studio, but great for a little self-love! She offered wine and water, and she has a jar of chocolates. Enough to make any stressed person really happy. Pampering, begin! I'm super happy I stumbled across her Yelp page, and all the positive reviews. I messaged her through Yelp, and her son (or nephew?) was quick to respond back with how I could book an appointment with Nery. She is extremely packed on weekends and evenings, so I took a half day for myself and went on a random Tuesday morning. A regular, non-gel mani/pedi for me took about an hour and a half - just as estimated when I booked the appointment too! Nery was welcoming, and completely understanding that I am indecisive. I changed my nail colors at least 3 times, and spent more than half my manicure debating is I should change my pedicure color (I did). But who can resist when Nery has walls of OPI and Zoya colors? I'm a sucker for Zoya, and dozens of colors she had on her wall, I also have in my closet. That's how I knew I would love Nery - quality polishes. None of the gross Kleancolor stuff I see a lot at other salons in the area. I chose a matte green from Zoya, opting to not put a top coat on it because it's a matte and c'mon, it looks really good. My favorite part? When she broke out the hand-mixer turned pumice stone when it was pedicure time. I don't know why I loved it, but it craked me up. And it really got all my dead skin off the heels of my feet! Eventually, I nodded off for a few minutes because it got to be really relaxing - the music she was playing when I was there was a great Pandora station of chill dance music (think Sia and Kygo). In the end, my toes and nails looked great.
