I went to Adrienne after months of searching for the right lash technician. I got them done at a salon once (after serious recommendations from friends) for a wedding and they were so bothersome, I actually ended up plucking them off after 3 weeks - which left me lashless and swearing off extensions ever again. A few months later, I decided I missed the look of extensions and shopped around. The market for lash techs is definitely saturated, almost anyone can get a certification...pretty intimidating stuff. When I found xoxolashes I was immediately impressed. I chose Adrienne because of her background as an optician and the amazing reviews on her site. I figured if anyone knew about lashes it would be someone who has worked with eyes for 10+ years. I have a history of bad eyes, I got lasik surgery, had a disease where I was going blind and I have chronically dry eyes so I am skeptical of having anyone come close to them. Adrienne was very gentle and understanding of this and took great care in making sure I was comfortable. She truly listened to what I wanted with my lashes. I didn't want a very intense look, and I didn't want them too long. I told her "I want people to look at me and not be sure if I'm wearing false lashes or if I just have really good mascara on" and I got JUST that. It was perfect. I woke up the next day and actually completely forgot I had lash extensions - which is a solid indication of a job well done. It's been a couple weeks now, and my lashes aren't irritating me, they aren't flailing around, nor are they itchy. I'm glad I gave lash extensions another shot. I get compliments all the time, and getting ready is such a breeze in the mornings (I get to sleep in a little now!) I definitely recommend xoxolashes to anyone looking to switch technicians, or looking to try extensions for the first time. I came in for a lash refill and the experience was very smooth. The technician worked gently and filled the gaps nicely. My lashes look fresh again without looking too thick. I was hoping for a better outcome. i was going to mexico and wanted to be makeup free so i went in for a lash lift and tint. to me, there was no lift, the tint was ok but if you didn't know i had this done, there was no real difference. for the price of 100.oo, save your money and wear a bit of mascara. I found out about her through one of my friends that had the most amazing set done by her a couple of years ago. The application usually lasts 3-4 weeks with minimal shedding. The first little while it was great, she had good services, clean area. She was friendly and easy going. However, for the last few appointments, she starts giving you lectures and vigorously brush your lashes until you have a burning feeling on your eyelids. It seriously hurts. Poor services for the last few times, I don't need a lecture from services I am paying for. I brush my lashes as much as I can, and for you to brush them to a point where it's hurting me, it's called poor customer service. No one has a brush with them 24/7 to brush their lashes. Adrienne has no patience, will tell you what you need to do so she doesn't have to spend time doing it when you go for fillings. It's not what I should be doing, but it is your job and service to do it. She doesn't care whether it hurts you or not, she just does what she does at her own convenience. It's a person laying down on your chair, not some mannequin. Last time I went, which was October 12, 2015 (yesterday), she used masking tape to tape down my lower lashes. This never happened before and trust me when I say I thought my lower lashes ripped off when she took the tape off. I never thought her services can be this bad. If you run out of certain things you need, maybe replenish? I will not ever recommend her to anyone. My friends and I are going elsewhere. read more

Don't go anywhere else if you want them done right! I was lucky to have found xoxo lashes to correct some serious issues done by another salon. XOXO lashes do not irritate, they are light and Adrienne is super serious about eye health -- she is an optician registered with Alberta Health Services to top it all off. Adrienne is very professional, a perfectionist and she totally stands behind her excellent work. I cannot thank her enough for correcting the terrible, irritating lashes I had done elsewhere that all fell out (a bad sign your natural eye is rejecting them). AND, I searched for a LONG time and thought I had picked the right lash person the first time! It cost a whole lot of money too, so I wasn't getting them done in the back alley or something. I wasn't looking for a bargain when it came to my lashes! My lashes from the other place were so itchy and all the left eyelashes fell out in 72 hours!! I was lucky enough to find XOXOlashes and Adrienne set me up, fixed everything and now I get compliments all the time. I cannot even feel the lashes on which blows me away. People will stare at you!!! In fact, my actual eyelashes are even healthier and stronger now since getting Adrienne's eyelash extensions!! GO FIGURE!! Do not play Russian Roulette with your eye health -- GO TO ADRIENNE at XOXOlashes!! She is top-notch -- there in none better. She has HUNDREDS of 5-star reviews, but she just changed her website and the reviews were lost unfortunately. I read every review before calling her for help. Thank you Adrienne!!!
