History

Established in 2011.

After graduating from Artists Within Makeup Academy in 2010, I worked for MAC Cosmetics in Calgary, Alberta and expanded my knowledge of various makeup products, techniques, and styles. I then founded Glow Makeup in 2011.

Meet the Business Owner: BENISH K.

Growing up in Kashmir I was surrounded by natural beauty and this transpired my passion of experimenting with colour and makeup. I learned to appreciate a spectrum of colours and mixing them together intrigued me. I believe that every woman is beautiful and makeup can be used to enhance that beauty. Colour and makeup application are just part of the process. I love working with a person's natural beauty and love the joyous expressions on my client's face upon the reveal of their new look. I never realized that with a single brush stroke, I could boost someone's self esteem and make them appreciate their features even more. It was this that pushed me to join a professional makeup institution and learn the tricks of the trade.
